funny the bani you read today and the community you claim to belong to today would not exist if it wasnt for nihang singhs and their traditions they practise...most their gurdwaras and with it revenue was taking away from them when SGPC came in....they are impoversihed ..the glory days was when nihang singhs controlled sri akaal bunga...they wouldnt take the rubbish from badal and his cronies if they were still in charge...but aslong as the mainstream sikh community ignores and reject them..theres not much you can expect them to do if they are ridiculed and mocked by some neo-sikhs and alcohol should never be consumed...anyone who says otherwise is a nang ....tradtionally there were many forms of degh...shaheedi degh was the most potent taking for battle/warfare reasons as you all know...the other form is sarbatti degh which is taken daily....that was taken for other reasons...etc aid digestion...help concentration as nihangs sleep and eat little..also as they live hard tough chakarvarti lifestyle..it aids them in that lifestyle....no one should be consuming potent shaheedi degh unless they are preparing for jung...the problem is not about authenticity of that tradition..the problem is about abuse

Anyone who doesnt accept Sri Dasam granth sahib ji and Sr Sarbloh Granth Sahib Ji in their entirety do not love sri guru gobind singh ji as they reject his divine bani...simple!....the panth is already split with deep divisions ...and the panth divides even further with sikhs like you around who reject gurbani of dasmesh pita...your no better than the heretical missionary naastiks.....theres nothing more sickening than people who reject divine gurbani just because they cant stomach the reference to hindu devas and sakhis....i know exactly what group you belong to by your post..

singh sabha had good aspects but it went too far in its reform...where it stated deviating from puraatan tradition and rejecting and discarding views of early sikh scholars... and im not a little kid..who needs to be told what to believe and what not to believe...my change of views came through my own research and study...so i should believe your propaganda over someone elses..what makes you so certain your right?..open your mind and stopping spitting out the same rhetoric over and over again....lol reinstate the caste system? really?..now whos falling for propaganda...

If you mean a repeat of the Singh Sabha movement....then get ready for a conflict...all singh sabha did was bring in christian protestant influences into the panth...reform is good..only if we get closer to guru and puraatan khalsa maryada...if not...then forget it

they are called nangs...criminals who enter the dal to get certain privledges

there are only four castes bhramin, kshatri, vaish and shudra in the indian culture...the guru sahibs were of kshatri heritage..which is why when we take amrit and are adopted into sri guru gobind singh jis family..we adopt the kshatri khalsa as our jaat...we become warriors/kings yet we also become bhramin, vaish and shudra aswell....we take the religous learning/knowledge of a bhramin, we take the bravery/honour etc from kshatri, we take gristi values/livelihood from vaish and we take the values of serving and humility from shudra...sikhi never abolished the caste system..it molded and united the 4 castes into 1 strong hybrid...the khalsa

RIP? last time i checked only jews/muslims/christians believe the soul rests peacefully in the grave...sikhs in line with other dharmic panths believe the soul is judged instantly...wherever dara singh is now..good place or bad..hes already there...theres no resting peacefully in sikhi...other than that i agree with your comment...for once!
