  3. A new level of evil. One-month-old baby with every rib broken fighting for its life after man and woman are arrested for rape and battery Boy suffers heart attack after horrific assault Could be one Britain's worst ever child abuse cases Police were last night trying to stop Facebook vigilantes causing civil unrest after a one-month-old baby boy was raped and battered so badly that his heart stopped. Messages on the social networking site revealed plans for a vigil near the home of the infant, who is thought to have suffered one of Britain’s worst cases of child abuse. The baby’s horrific injuries were said to have included a broken arm, a broken collarbone, punctured lungs and severe bruising. It was said all of his ribs were fractured. Care: King's College Hospital where the baby is on a life support machine after suffering a heart attack There was reportedly also a sexual injury and internal wounds, suggesting rape. A man and a woman, from Gravesend, Kent, were arrested in connection with the incident. They have been released on police bail pending further inquiries. One Facebook group called ‘Jail the scum who raped and beat a one-month-old baby in Gravesend’ contained several messages calling for the parents to be named over the alleged abuse. One post read: ‘These people need to be locked up not given bail. They are scum.’ One local woman said: ‘We feel disgusted about this and we want to express our support for the child. The plan is to hold a vigil this evening.’ Suspects: The man and woman who were arrested over the alleged attack are both from Gravesend, Kent The unnamed baby was in a critical condition when taken to a hospital near his home on Thursday, but last night he was ‘showing signs of improvement’ after being transferred to a London hospital. Police forensic experts have examined a house in Gravesend. Neighbours said a man and a woman lived at the address with a newborn baby. They were described as ‘nice people, normal and polite’. Another neighbour said she heard ‘a loud commotion’ at the house on Thursday morning. Read more: http://www.dailymail...l#ixzz1fYPB2Vsy

  10. I have to say Baldeep Kaur was a very good speaker. If some Sikhs accept the security regulations on aeroplanes in regards to the Kirpan, why can't that (or shouldn't that) be applied to the Olympics if security is such a big issue? Anyways...isn't this a non-issue?...I mean who actually managed to get tickets to the Olympics!!...even the dullest events were sold out.

  13. Hilarious!! Airline passengers were forced to stage a giant whip-round and hand over more than £20,000 in cash after being 'held to ransom' by their cash-strapped airline. More than 180 passengers were left stranded on the tarmac when cabin crew announced during a refuelling stop that Austrian carrier Comtel Air had 'run out of cash'. The travellers had been returning to Birmingham on a chartered flight from Amritsar, India, when the airline's money woes became apparent during the stopover at Vienna airport. Whip-round: Furious passengers were told gather £20,000 in cash between them to get back to Birmingham after enduring a delay in Vienna because of Comtel Air's unpaid bills Luxury flying: Comtel Air, the carrier responsible for the flight, may have gone bust Executive travel: A Comtel Air plane on the tarmac at Birmingham Airport Passengers refused to get off the plane and were told that the flight would only return to Birmingham if € 23,400 (£20,005) was handed over. Austrian police were called to the aircraft during the six-hour stand-off on Tuesday morning, which only ended when passengers were escorted to cashpoint machines that ran out of money. The whip-round included euros and pounds that were borrowed as many of the elderly and young passengers did not have any money. <p class="relatedItems" style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; min-height: 1px; "> More... EasierJet: The end of the boarding bun-fight as budget airline announces plan for allocated seating on its flights The passengers were told that they and their luggage would be removed from the plane if they did not pay up. More than 600 people on four different flights are thought to have been embroiled in the fiasco which started at the northern Indian city at the weekend. Another Comtel flight from Vienna was said to be 'delayed indefinitely'. Gurhej Kaur, a blind 80-year-old from Handsworth Wood, was one of the passengers who spent more than 15 hours on the plane while her medication was in the hold. Held to ransom: The passengers were told they could not complete their flights to Birmingham unless they stumped up the cash, despite having already paid up to £500 for their tickets Stop-over: The passengers were told they would not be able leave Vienna International Airport on the Comtel Air flight unless they paid an outstanding bill before leaving Her 34-year-old relative, Dalvinder Batra, from Oldbury, said: 'It is absolutely disgusting. 'There are still people stuck out there. We have been told that the company has gone bust.' The first passenger off the plane was Tarlochan Singh. The 57-year-old from Wolverhampton had been in India for three weeks. He said: 'Nobody has told us anything. They wanted all the money in cash. Everyone was furious, that is why we had the sit-in. We spent more than six hours in Vienna.' Satbarg Nijjar was collecting his wife Gurdab Kaur Nijjar after a four-week holiday. The 60-year-old, from Coventry, said: 'They have been told that they have not paid landing fees or taxes and the company is in financial trouble.' Ranbir Dehal, 32, from Wolverhampton, said: 'We were escorted to the cash point to take money out. 'They said there was a deficit of nearly EUR24,000 and they gave us receipts. They lined up the buses and said we would be removed from the plane.' Many of the passengers bought their tickets through Takhar Travel, a travel agent based in Smethwick, West Midlands. Stranded and made to pay: (Left and seated) Gurhej Kaurm who is blind, with her family, who were stuck at Vienna airport, as were Charnjit Dehal and son Ranbir, 33, both from Wolverhampton, pictured right Destination: The passengers were flying to Birmingham International Airport but had to contribute to a whip-round to complete the journey Comtel Air's website was yesterday 'down for maintenance'. A message told customers to contact Bhupinder Kandra, the firm's director of air scheduled services. But the office number posted for him on the site was yesterday described as 'not listed', according to a recorded message. Contacted on his mobile phone, Mr Kandra claimed to be driving and promised to comment later. He then failed to answer calls. Many of the passengers bought their tickets via a Smethwick-based travel agent. The agent did not respond to inquiries. Comtel Air specialised in executive aviation and owned a Dassault Falcon 2000 business jet. It had only started the commercial route from the UK to Amritsa at the start of last month, using a leased Boeing 757. A spokesman for Birmingham Airport said: 'Comtel Air has been contracted by a number of UK travel companies to facilitate flights to Amritsar, via Vienna. Comtel Air has a contractual arrangement with an approved airline to operate this service. 'Clearly, we are very concerned about this situation and understand the distress that this is causing the passengers directly involved and their loved ones. 'Comtel Air has been operating from Birmingham Airport to Amritsar since October, and has so far offered a successful operation to several hundred passengers. 'We are therefore very disappointed that the operator is having these problems this week and we are urgently investigating the matter to get some clarity going forward.' He said the airline is registered in Austria and not within the jurisdiction of the Civil Aviation Authority. All three Comtel Air flights that were scheduled to leave Birmingham airport in the airline's regular slots last Friday, Saturday and Sunday were cancelled. The airline told Birmingham Airport that the cancellations were for 'operational reasons'. The spokesman added: 'Anyone due to travel with the airline is advised to contact the travel company they have booked the flights with for advice. Those passengers overseas need to ascertain whether their travel arrangements are protected by the ATOL scheme.' 14. I hope they do ban the halal method of killing animals. Let the animals receive a Jhatka first and then the Mohammedans can then perform their ritual. 'Compassion in World Farming' and the RSPCA both agree that Halal method is cruel. http://www.ciwf.org...._slaughter.aspx In 2003, the Farm Animal Welfare Council (FAWC), an independent advisory group, concluded that the way halal and kosher meat is produced causes severe suffering to animals and should be banned immediately. FAWC argued that cattle required up to two minutes to bleed to death when such means are employed. The Chairperson of FAWC at the time, Judy MacArthur Clark, added, "this is a major incision into the animal and to say that it doesn't suffer is quite ridiculous." In April 2008, the Food and Farming minister in the UK, Lord Rooker, stated that halal and kosher meat should be labeled when it is put on sale, so that members of the public can decide whether or not they want to buy food from animals that have been bled to death. He was quoted as saying, "I object to the method of slaughter ... my choice as a customer is that I would want to buy meat that has been looked after, and slaughtered in the most humane way possible." The RSPCA supported Lord Rooker's views." British Veterinary Association state that the Halal process is more inhumane than conventional stunned slaughter. There have been many scientific reports that support this view whilst there have been some reports (funded by Mohammedans) that are against the banning of Halal meat. The following list show's that only McDonalds, Burger King, and Wimpey serve food that is halal-free.
  15. The guy in this video states that 'representatives of Queen Victorias Government were present at the execution of Banda Singh Bahadur'...that's odd because Banda Singh died in 1716 and Queen Victoria was born in 1819....his history is about 100 years incorrect...

  18. VIDEO http://www.bbc.co.uk...canada-15236154 10 October 2011 Last updated at 05:08 She looks and dresses like a traditional Indian woman, yet she speaks with an American-Italian Brooklyn accent. Maria Provenzano Singh is also one of the few women cab drivers in New York City. Recently, a young man pulled out a gun at the end of the ride in Harlem. She sped away, the cab's door slammed closed by the speed, and then continued working all day. "You can't be afraid and do this job," she says. The 57-year-old emigrated to the US with her family when she was a toddler, but she has not spoken to her relatives for years after falling in love with, and marrying, a Sikh man from the Punjab. "If they can't accept him, they can't accept me," she says with a calm smile. She loves her husband, likes his religion and enjoys cooking Indian food. In August, she and her husband will leave New York to run a gas station in the Midwest state of Indiana. In this First Person account Maria explains why Italian and Sikh culture have a lot in common
  19. Dude, you beat me to it...I was gonna give him that list. Nice response anyway. The Guru Panth has endorsed this maryada, the Akal Takhat has given its seal to it, (therefore it's a Panthic Maryada), and the SGPC have published it. Harmeet_Singh > Bhai Randhir Singhs name is in the committee who drafted the Maryada...was he one of the Doctors and Professors you were referring too? Great Gursikhs contributed to the SRM, yet with one careless remark you done the nindiya of all of them.
