  4. Isn't day and night news funded by Congress...? That explains a lot. Do you know Baldev Sirsa is a anti-Dasam guy?
  5. From Facebook: Joseph Davey Cunningham wrote History of the Sikhs in 1848. Many Sikh Scholars and Historians praise Him for this act of His. And take His name with Respect for writing History. BUT when This History written by Him is TRANSLATED WORD-TO-WORD in Hindi (Book Sikh Itihaas) , it is an issue and probably conspiracy of RSS.....Dhan Guru Ke Sikh. NOTE - Cunningham's book was translated word to word in 1998 and published in March 1999 , but due to Blashpemy it contains, it was Banned and Recalled by SGPC. Not everything is RSS Singho..... Read for urself what JD Cunningham writes about Guru Sahib (And Still Sikhs praise Him)!http://www.facebook.com/kamaljeet.shaheedsar/posts/10200738382519199
  6. Then they should rename their "Near Earth Object (NEO)" Space Program to something else!
  7. Akal Warior, you are right. He says pray for a 3 week notice of a direct impact - if known (most of the asteroids are not detected on time and sometimes not before they enter the earth's atmosphere) ... but one thing to notice is why did he specifically say that the United Sates is safe from any asteroid impact. Does this mean an asteroid can hit other parts of the planet? Does Nasa's space program not work for the planet as a whole??
  8. "From the information we have, we don't know of an asteroid that will threaten the population of the United States," Bolden said. "But if it's coming in three weeks, pray." Read the full article: By Irene Klotz CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida | Wed Mar 20, 2013 12:55am GMT Cape Canaveral, Florida: NASA chief Charles Bolden has advice on how to handle a large asteroid headed toward New York City: Pray. That's about all the United States - or anyone for that matter - could do at this point about unknown asteroids and meteors that may be on a collision course with Earth, Bolden told lawmakers at a US House of Representatives Science Committee hearing on Tuesday. An asteroid estimated to be have been about 55 feet (17 meters) in diameter exploded on February 15 over Chelyabinsk, Russia, generating shock waves that shattered windows and damaged buildings. More than 1,500 people were injured. Later that day, a larger, unrelated asteroid discovered last year passed about 17,200 miles (27,681 km) from Earth, closer than the network of television and weather satellites that ring the planet. The events "serve as evidence that we live in an active solar system with potentially hazardous objects passing through our neighborhood with surprising frequency," said Representative Eddie Bernice Johnson, a Texas Democrat. "We were fortunate that the events of last month were simply an interesting coincidence rather than a catastrophe," said Committee Chairman Lamar Smith, a Texas Republican, who called the hearing to learn what is being done and how much money is needed to better protect the planet. NASA has found and is tracking about 95 percent of the largest objects flying near Earth, those that are .62 miles (1 km) or larger in diameter. "An asteroid of that size, a kilometer or bigger, could plausibly end civilization," White House science advisor John Holdren told legislators at the same hearing. But only about 10 percent of an estimated 10,000 potential "city-killer" asteroids, those with a diameter of about 165 feet (50 meters) have been found, Holdren added. On average, objects of that size are estimated to hit Earth about once every 1,000 years. "From the information we have, we don't know of an asteroid that will threaten the population of the United States," Bolden said. "But if it's coming in three weeks, pray." In addition to stepping up its monitoring efforts and building international partnerships, NASA is looking at developing technologies to divert an object that may be on a collision course with Earth. "The odds of a near-Earth object strike causing massive casualties and destruction of infrastructure are very small, but the potential consequences of such an event are so large it makes sense to takes the risk seriously," Holdren said. About 66 million years ago, an object 6 miles (10 km) in diameter is believed to have smashed into what is now the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, leading to the demise of the dinosaurs, as well as most plant and animal life on Earth. The asteroid that exploded over Russia last month was the largest object to hit Earth's atmosphere since the 1908 Tunguska event when an asteroid or comet exploded over Siberia, leveling 80 million trees over more than 830 square miles (2,150 sq km). © Thomson Reuters 2013 http://uk.reuters.com/article/2013/03/20/us-space-astroids-idUKBRE92J02520130320
  9. If I can analyse it properly, most of the people have nothing to do with sikhi. Most of them have high political influence...
  10. If that is the case then didn't they read and agree with the translations before publishing?
  11. One solution is to keep yourself armed to the teeth n use the weapons in 'self defence'
  12. "All men of Spartan birth had to serve in the army. Boys of seven were taken from their families to live in army barracks. Their whole lives were dedicated to learning in the arts of war. The Greek historian Herodotus wrote that Spartan soldiers differed from the rest of the Greeks in that they wore long red robes, always combed their long hair when they might be about to put their lives at risk, as when going into battle. 13. That needs to be explored but here is a list where Guru Nanak Dev ji went with Bhai Mardana ji (including North Carolina, USA): http://www.sikhsangat.com/index.php?/topic/63253-sahib-sri-guru-nanak-dev-jee-maharajs-travels-amazing-and-pleasantly-shocking-details and a recent discovery in Italy where they met the pope of that time and demanded the end to slavery in Europe: http://satguru.weebly.com/ (scroll down to section Guru Nanak Sahib in Rome; Pope Benedict XII -update 27/2/13)
  14. How dare you say that ! :angry2: lol I am joking I my opinion the rule will give Khalsa control over all Gurdwara's (including historic gurdwaras outside punjab in India and in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq and other European, African American countries where Guru Sahib went) and sikh activities around the world. :D
  15. Here see what our Guru and other Gurmukhs and Mahapurkhs have to say about Khalsa Raj: Guru Gobind Singh ji (around 1704): 'Khalsa will rule the world after three centuries'. Sant Attar Singh Ji Mustuanawale (beginning 20th century): Khalsa Raj will come around the next century. Bhai Randhir Singh Ji AKJ (mid 20th century): Khalsa Raj will be coming soon but I will not be to see it my current body. Sant Kartar Singh Ji Bhindranwale(1970's): Khalsa Raj coming soon. Sant Baba Thakur Singh Ji Bhindranwale: Khalsa Raj coming soon. If anyone can explain what soon means... Sant Jarnail Singh Ji : Khalsa Raj will only come when we all will become 'Khalsa'.

  17. Hmmm .....What was the last time a pope resigned? Benedict explained his resignation on the basis of health issues..very unusual I smell something is not right.....
  18. Dharmi, I absolutely agree with you here. Read prophecies of Saint Malachy of the 12th century: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prophecy_of_the_Popes The to be elected pope, (112th after Saint Malachy), is the last one.
