  1. Chatanga, read this carefully. This is the Aukaat of Dhumma. He is not respected in Panthic circles. The brother of Shaheed Gen Subegh Singh refused to take saropa where Dhumma is invited. This is a huge slap to Dhuma's face.
  2. Great video. I'm surprised to see so many people pressed the "dislike"(arrow down) button. For sure it must be angry RadhaSoamis. Please who ever see's this video press the like(upward arrow) button. And any Radhasoami video you see, always make it a point to press the dislike button.
  3. Dhuma does not have any of the greatness of the previous Jathadars of DDT. Look at how he acts around Badal, almost like Badal is his master. Bhai Amrik Singh Jee is a real Mard. He's not scared of Badal or the center. He says it like it is.
  4. That is Badal's wife's funeral. She was one very corrupt lady and did not even hide this fact. They say when someone would give Badal money(bribe), it is her who would personally take the money and make sure it was the right amount as she was the one who would determined how much a person should give. Plus she is the one who pushed badal to turn her unworthy son Sukhbir into the party chief. Before that, never had anyone ever made their son as successor in the history of Shiromoni Akali Dal. Before the party chief was usually chosen based on seniority. This family is so corrupt and so ridiculously rich that it is unbelievable. But in the end Badal's wife has left this world and that too without a penny to help her in the next world. So all this money earned through corruption and bribery is of no use, she has left it all here. Only the Naam and Gurbani Paath one does comes in handy in the next world. That is the real Dhan Dhaulat. Like her, Prakash Badal and sukhbir who now live like kings will also leave penniless. As for the OPs question. I think he is trying to touch his knee out of respect, alot of people do that in Punjab when seeing an elderly person. But since he is Jathadar of the Akal Takht, he should not have done that especially to such a corrupt man like Badal.
  5. Veerji, Jaimal Singh believed in Swami Shiv Dayal as his Satguru. This is evident in the letters he wrote to Sawan Singh, the guy who eventually succeeded him. Later these letters were collected and published as a book called spiritual letters. Shiv Dayal wasn't a Nirankari. He was from a family who believed in the Gurus to some degree and even did paath. Later he began doing sangat of Nirmalas from whom he began learning. He even began doing katha at the local Gurdwara. He was a heavy smoker of hooka and chewed a lot of tobacco paan. When Sikh soldiers who were stationed near by began coming to the Gurdwara he was doing Katha, many raised objections of how can a hooka smoker and paan chewer be allowed to do Katha, then he stopped doing his katha at the gurdwara but started privately in his own home. Jaimal Singh who was a Sikh soldier began doing his sangat during that time. When Shiv Dayal died, many began to claim the little of Guruship. Jaimal Singh was one of them. At first he did not do it openly, but only privately amongst his close followers because he did not want to offend the central authority of the Radhasoami faith in Agra and who had better claim to being the successors of Shiv Dayal than Jaimal SIngh who was an unknown rogue at the time. The claimants who had a better case and much more following was Rai Saligram(the closest chela of Swami SD), Shiv Dayal's own brother, and his wife. The Radhasoami faith is a fake hybred faith mixing Sikhism, with Yoga, and Sufism. Nothing original. It is not a religion created by enlightened men. Baba Ram Singh Namdhari on the other hand was a different case from these rogues. He was a pious Gursikh whose Chelas began calling him a Guru after he died. It's unfortunate the Kookas had to go the wrong way, otherwise they could have made very good Sikhs today.
  6. Interesting it is. If they are citizens of the country no reason for them to be exempt from mandatory military service. It's good they spend their life dedicated to their faith, but they should also do some work instead of being a burden on society.
  7. I think he meant a religious revival type movement in the panth. The last 17 years has seen a decline in the religiosity amongst the Sikhs. We need to come back to our roots.
  8. I don't know if it can, but it certainly should. In today's world where India is making a lot of progress economically, many of these western nations are bowing down to India, especially the US, Canada, UK. I don't see these nations declaring the congress party of India as a terrorist entity no matter how much state sponsored terrorism they do.
  9. If the new so called memorial is not going to be a real memorial, why don't Sikhs create an alternative memorial in Punjab? This privately funded memorial from Sikhs all over the world can be on the lines of holocaust memorials in the western world. Our story needs to be told while the generation who witnessed it first hand is still alive. Badal Sarkar is going to always care too much about their bjp allies, not wanting to offend them by creating a real memorial dedicated to the 84 Ghallugara.
  10. Bijla Singh Jee great replies. We need more knowledgeable Gursikhs like him to give reply to our opponents. These replies have a treasure of knowledge we can all learn from.
  11. Can someone give more details on who this Harbans Lal Khana is?
  12. He was probably the most well known Punjabi wrestler. He came from a very poor background, but worked hard to make his name well known. When he was young, he was very physically fit. In India his name is well known.
  13. Great reply brother. It is sad but we have so many such lefties amongst us. We need to make a stand for our principles. If not, then the time is not far when we will also go the way of Church of England which has bowed down to their lefties. Sikhi is about equality when it comes to caste, race, ethnicity. But, it goes against our traditions to allow mixed faith marriages in a Gurdwara. It is obvious by the very nature of the relationship of mixed religious couple that religion does not mean much to them in the first place or else they would keep it within the faith. So why should Anand Karaj matter to them? it is just an empty ritual for them. And we should not bow down to their lefty ways.
  14. Chatanga Jee, I feel it would have been better if Sant Samaj had contested the SGPC elections independently. Now their reputation has been greatly tarnished by joining hands with badal. The badal sarkar is thinking on making Saini as the dgp of punjabi police. Alams wife was given MLA ticket during the elections. At first they tried to trick people by changing her name so she would not be found out, but people soon realized it was Alam's wife. No way on earth would Sant jee have approved of such an alliance between Sants and badal(who collaborates with the killers of the Sikhs)
  15. Great replies Bijla Singh Jee. Too many lies are being spread against the Sikhs.
  16. Since he went to jail, his 4 brothers and son have passed away. He spent the best part of his life in jail. The Indian government did not even take care of his family or give his son a government job. This man sacrificed so much for his country and look what he got in return. I knew the Indian government was bad, but never knew it was so cheap too,
  17. On a serious note, we should have countered their parchar long ago. The only reason the RSB is now so powerful is because we have ignored parchar. Why have RSB managed to attract so many so called SC BC, foreigners and even Hindus people while SIkhs have not? they are using our Bani yet they are more successful at doing parchar than us. We have failed miserably. I hope Sikhs can wake up and do something to reverse this trend. Instead of infighting, parchar is needed urgently. Hope Dal Khalsa should also realize some of their short comings (like opposing Dasam Granth and fellow Sikhs) and actually do something constructive for a change which will increase the growth of our religion.
  18. That is a quote from the respected Sufi saint of Punjab Baba Bulle Shah not Allah Yaar Khan. Na kahun abh kee, na kahun tab kee, agar na hote Guru Gobind Singh, to sunnat hoti sab kee.
  19. I don't know why we try to ignore the steps in the right direction and always try to find a conspiracy in everything.
  20. Good. Hindus should listen to him on this issue instead of their politicians. But I doubt they will listen to him.
