  1. Uh ohh, someone hasn't read their gurbaniii! lol 'Thieves, fornicators, harlots and procuresses, all in mutual friendship are bound. The wicked associate with each other, and together eat and drink. They know not the essence of devotion (attributes of God), ever in Satan's company living. A donkey rubbed over with sandal-paint, will still roll about in dust. Evil the measure and in wearing evil take pride. Says Nanak, those that spin evil (falsehood), evil is their wearing.' 'As the Word of the Forgiving Lord comes to me, so do I express it, O Lalo. Bringing the marriage party of sin, Babar has invaded from Kaabul, demanding our land as his wedding gift, O Lalo. Modesty and righteousness both have vanished, and falsehood struts around like a leader, O Lalo. The Qazis and the Brahmins have lost their roles, and Satan now conducts the marriage rites, O Lalo. The Muslim women read the Koran, and in their misery, they call upon God, O Lalo. The Hindu women of high social status, and others of lowly status as well, are put into the same category, O Lalo. The wedding songs of murder are sung, O Nanak, and blood is sprinkled instead of saffron, O Lalo. || 1 || (Guru Granth Sahib Ji p. 722-3)' You may observe the thirty fasts, and say the five prayers each day, but Satan can undo them. Says Nanak, you will have to walk on the Path of Death, so why do you bother to collect wealth and property? || 4 || 27 || (Guru Granth Sahib Ji p.24) Andd so on and so forth...... Calling Lucifer a sant, having him as a pic on a sikh forum, when sikhi blatantly asks us to steer clear of satan and satanic activity- is beyond strange not to meantion Totally disrespectful to the Gurus, Gurbani and Truth itself. The darkness of ignorance is what he stands for and what he is, and that is opposed the path that we walk on towards discovering Truth in this dark age- fair enough this is a khel and all is God, but to get out of the illusion we need to do good deeds, bandgi etc, and this doesnt fall in line with satans hobbies.
  2. Lol and now he is the most evil being of all time, responsible for Kalyug, I'd say god doesnt care that he was ever an angel and either does anyone else except his little groupies who think he runs things. If you had an awareness of how the world works, you'd realise it's an illusion, our thoughts are what make kalyug what it is- the world is just symbolic reflection... Darshans of Lucifer are not going to make the world a better place- believe it. Why not replace it with an avatar of Guru Ji so people can conjure up thoughts of him and make the earth abit lighter instead- gurbani says whenever the guru is thought of, he is actually here. May I ask exactly why you've chosen the devil as your avatar? Any particular reason- other than the fact hes a donkey raping child molesting murdering binge drinker who causes the world to do the same...
  3. One could only hope we get up and Actually Become The Khalsa our Gurus spoke of by becoming totally pure within/ Brahmgyanis- by Actually Physically Applying Gurbani, Not Just Reading it and hoping for the best. The whole point of gurbani is to teach us How To Become Brahmgyanis and 100% surrendered bhagats(surrendered by accepting every single moment of His hukam as perfect, giving tan man dan and doing bhagti.)(the Pure Khalsa). Instead we procrastinate and wait for bad things to happen to us to start applying gurbani. God wants us to become his bhagats, to do naam simran(attune ourselves to the frequency of naam/ Truth that applies across a universal specturm) with every breath and to become the Brahmgyani/Guru. This is the aim of our lives, and this is the only place we should be in 50 yrs(God Willing).
  4. ^^It's already maha Kalyug- the greatest darkness is already here. People look around. There are very few True Masters out there, but a new wave of bhagats is rising as per gods hukam, the extra darkness is there so that the brightest, strongest lights can penetrate through- it is out of the shite that flowers grow.
  5. The police were also trying to humiliate and joked upon sikhs in 1984 when they were massacring innocent women and children and raping women for no particular reason, only satan or someone with a very sadistic mindset would understand their sense of humour...
  6. The false mind is hunted by the Messenger of Death; it carries its faults along when it goes. man jhoothaa jam johi-aa avgun chaleh naal. The mind turns inward, and merges with mind, when it is with virtue. man meh man ulto marai jay gun hoveh naal. Crying out, "Mine, mine!", they have died, but without the Name, they find only pain. mayree mayree kar mu-ay vin naavai dukh bhaal. The mind is the ego, everything that we claim to be. But on this path we must offer our head to the Guru(Gyan of Gurbani) (100% surrender of mind, body, wealth- tan, man, dan- the death of self). When the mind is eradicated/silenced there is no Ego. The whole point of naam simran(which brings virtue along with good deeds) is to silence the mind, in fact the whole point of life is to silence the mind/ Ego for it is only when the mind is silenced that we can truly discover who and what we really are. Away from the Maya programming and worldy wisdom(manmat) and worldly thoughts and distractions, we can really begin our journey to Truth. When the ego (mind) is silenced, so are the other theives as they can only survive as long as we have a sense of I and mine. The way to silence the mind is through samadhi(deep meditation through naam simran). At first thoughts will crop up here and there, then finally one will get to the stage of such a deep samadhi that there are no thoughts. This is where the Brahmgyan begins to be expererienced, the bhagat begins to gain knowledge contained in gurbani on their own, and is able to write up passages as bhagats in gurbani did, as the Truths they are discovering are the same as those that the Gurus and bhagats in Guru Granth Sahib Ji experienced(truth is the same everywhere). In reality there is no mind, God lives in a state of nothingness which actually means there is Nothing. Hence your answer is that we are not the mind as there is no mind, or soul, just Truth. sehaj saalaahee sadhaa sadhaa sehaj samaadhh lagaae || In the state of intuitive balance, praise the Lord forever and ever. 7. No because until we strive more to become Khalsa (completely pure, lost all sense of self/ death of self and surrendered 100% to Guru/ God), there would be no point.
  8. My last best friend was muslim and she began to call me her sister. I was closer to her than I was to my own sister and many of my other best and good friends have been muslim(guys and girls). Baba Nanak said, 'no hindu no muslim'- we cannot ignore this gyan that he shared with the world and must apply this gurbani to our own lives in order to be able to succeed on the path of the bhagat (the aim of being a Sikh(student) of Truth). Yes there are many upon many decent muslims out there(although we are all great sinners in this dark age), and there are also very bad apples, as there are with our own 'sikhs'. This is all His Hukam, it would be beyond wrong to target all muslims as perpetrators- that would be playing the same game as muslim extremists, not gurbani. Remember that many muslims became sikhs, that is proof in itself that the same god that resides in us also resides in muslims- they are really not muslims, just fools like us living in the darkest age known to mankind, they are all god really. Where wrongdoing is committed and ignorance shown, speak the Truth as Guru Gobind Singh Ji did in Zafarnama- such is the love of god that he teaches us even when we sin, the dukh and karmas we pay off are lessons within themselves- maya teaches us that it will only let us ruin ourselves but truth sets us free. The problems in Birmingham are still bad, yes- this is why we need more brahmgyanis, This age is dark, negativity is everywhere- people need to get up and start living gurbani, becoming bhagats, instead of simply reading it. God is wherever Truth is practiced and spoken, more light is needed in this darkness.
  9. We're living in the dream of God, everything happens as he wills it, good and bad. The breakup of a marriage shows that worldly relationships are false, gurbani says over and over again that husbands, wives and family are only with you for their selfish wants and needs. Only god, who oves us unconditionally is there for us in the end, whether we sin or not. He feed us our karma when we sin and we even learn lessons from that- this is how much he loves us. His hukam(will) pervades the entire universe- nothing is beyond it. Even the worst karmas are deserved to the person who either accumalated them in this lifetime or in previous lifetimes. It's up to god and your deeds and karmas(from this life or ones before this) whether you're married life works out or not. The thing is that everything is really just false imagery, the true form of god is in the nothingness- Gurus and sants were able to willingly accept matyrdom(including jesus)becuase they were psychologically sound in all situations, they knew the truth.
  10. Sikhi believes in living a householder life and working off the sweat of your brow, one must always attend to their wordly duties and should live simply. Read this story: Guru Nanak Dev Ji left Sultanpur accompanied by Bhai Mardana and spent some time on his mission visiting Hindus and Muslims in West Panjab. At Saidpur, now called Emnabad, the Guru stayed at the house Bhai Lalo, an honest man who earned his bread with hard work. Lalo welcomed the Guru with great humility and reverence. It happened that Malik Bhago, a rich landlord of Kshatriya caste and an official of the local Pathan Nawab, was giving a feast. He had invited all religious and holy men to join in the feast. When he came to know that a saint was staying at the house of Lalo, Malik Bhago sent a servant to invite Guru Nanak to join in the feast. The Guru declined the invitation, but when Malik Bhago sent his man repeatedly requesting the Guru to come, the Guru finally went to his house. Malik Bhago asked the Guru, "Why do you refuse my bread and eat at the house of a low-caste Hindu, though you are a holy man of high-caste?" The Guru replied, "I have no caste, for me all men are equal." "Then why did you decline to join my feast?" asked Malik Bhago. Answered the Guru, "Do you really want to know?" Bhago said, "Yes, I want to know why you preferred Lalo's simple bread to my food." The Guru asked Bhago to bring some of his food, and asked Lalo to do the same. When the food was brought by both, Guru Saheb took a piece from Lalo's food in one hand, and a piece from Bhago's food in the other. When he squeezed his hands, from Lalo's food oozed out drops of milk, and from Bhago's food, drops of blood. The Guru said, "Now you see why I declined to join your feast; your food is blood stained because you have accumulated your wealth by exploiting the poor, while Lalo earns his bread by the sweat of his brow, and shares his earnings with the needy." Malik Bhago was much ashamed at this and became speechless. He fell at the Guru's feet and prayed for mercy. All the people gathered there, bowed in humility before the Guru. The Guru looked at them with a loving glance and said, "That which belongs to another is unlawful, and as dirty as eating the flesh of the dead. A Guru showers his grace on those who re-frain from eating the dead. The flesh of the dead does not become lawful by breath-ing God's Name over it. Nor do we attain salvation by merely reciting the holy verses." Not only should we work off the sweat of our brow, guru ji also makes it clear that we do not gain salvation by merely doing paath. Bhagti(loving devotion through naam simran, good deeds and controlling the 5 thieves) gets us to that place.
  11. It's weird I was thinking about Amitabh yesterday while looking through the thread about letting 1984 go. I was so close to typing something up about him, then come on here a few hrs later and see this thread. He's even played a role of a sikh and stepped into a gurdwarra in a film. How he is still treated like a god shows the power of Bollywood and Indian polictics and also shows how we are not able to spot deception if its staring us right in the face- he must be laughing everytime a sardar asks for his autograph- it is truly Kalyug.
  12. P.s the song was a religious one. I have seen many sikhs(mainly amritdhari) shaking and dancing in many gurdwarras to kirtan. Any song praising God is kirtan- you are condemning people of doing kirtan and responding to it in Joy. I have known high level bhagats who have so much amrit within that they dance not of their own accord, its like god is pulling them around by strings like a puppeteer- and people laugh at them. The jokes on the foolish and egotistical people that laugh becuase they have no knowledge of the stages that a high level bhagat can go through. The humble one (lowest of the low like the Gurus said they were) laughs at and slanders noone, and that is where these people go wrong. There is nothing wrong with espressing your joy and love for god- Anything other than vice that makes us feel closer to Him in this suffocatingly dark age(the darkness is most likely its peak) should be accepted.
  13. Says the person who calls Lucifer a Sant! Seriously how did you get away with having that avatar pic on this forum?
  14. ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਜੋ ਜਨੁ ਜਪੈ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਸਦ ਜਾਗੈ ॥ Rām nām jo jan japai an▫ḏin saḏ jāgai. That humble being who chants the Lord's Name, remains always awake and aware, night and day. ਤੰਤੁ ਮੰਤੁ ਨਹ ਜੋਹਈ ਤਿਤੁ ਚਾਖੁ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ Ŧanṯ manṯ nah joh▫ī ṯiṯ cẖākẖ na lāgai. ||1|| rahā▫o. He is not affected by charms and spells, nor is he harmed by the evil eye. I believe this is all that is needed.
  15. The Guru is Gurbani and Gurbani is the Guru. The original guru is Gurbani- it is the Gyan that God first discovered that we call the Guru. This gyan/ Guru resides in the Heart, hence when the bhagat commences on the path of bhagti, the gyan is discovered physically by themselves and they are able to write such passages as they did in Guru Granth Sahib. This is the reason their discoveries are the same as those of the Gurus. Truth is the same everywhere. Guru Granth Sahib Ji is not the Guru, the gyan within it is. This same gyan is carried and realised in the hirdas of the Brahmgyanis and applies throughout a Universal spectrum. The gyan is actually All That Is- it is not confined to a single being. We just live in ignorance of it, but once we attune ourselves to the frequency of Truth/ Naam, we begin to realise it. Truth/gurbani/gyan is Him and He is Truth, Satguru Nanak faced his feet towards the kaabaa for this reason. iekw bwxI ieku guru ieko sbdu vIcwir ] There is One Bani; there is One Guru; there is one Shabad to contemplate. ikaa banee ik gur iko sabad veechaar.
  16. Not really embarrassing. A sikh is a 'student' of the Guru. Once a student stops applying gyan and learning they are no longer a student (like a dropout). So those who were acting foolishly were not Sikh.
  17. Passage from Sarbloh Granth - chapter 5, page 631 (Vol. II of Steek) Satiguru Nanak is the true lineage (ans) and power (shakti) of the Lord, He recited the pure scripture (granth). ਨਾਮ ਉਪਾਸਨ, ਨਾਮ ਅਰਾਧਨ, ਨਾਮਹਿ ਜਪੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਨੇ ॥ (In the scripture it says) Worshiping the Name, Taking support of the Name, and reciting the name you shall be carried across (the terrifying ocean that is the world) ਸਚੁ ਉਪਦੇਸ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਕਉ ਦੀਨਾ, ਬਸਤੁ ਨਾਮ ਨਿਰਬਾਨੇ ॥ Giving the true teaching to the Sangat, the Naam (True Name), it emancipated them ਮਹਾਂਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਤਾਰਕ ਸਤਿਨਾਮਾ, ਸੋ ਗੁਰੁ ਕੀਨੋ ਦਾਨੇ ॥੩॥ The Guru gave the Great Mantra (MahaMantra), the one which shall take you across (the ocean that is this world), Satinaam (the True Naam) Truth is His name. 19. All we can really do is speak the Truth to them and if they wish to listen, they will, if not then that is their choice. We cannot force the Truth on anyone, however I have have known some lovely muslims who truly love their faith and apply the core principles to their live- none of the extra rubbish-, they truly want to walk the right path but are just lost, they believe they have all the gyan that is needed to become a sant.
  20. :rowingmachine: Yeh I would say I would usually be good at spotting a fake profile, and yours did look extremely dodgy, I only checked your profile out because you added me as a friend and I I have only just joined this forum and you're my only friend it seemed like a good idea. However if I am truly mistaken in this case I apologise for jumping to conclusions, a sikh should know better than to do that. I've also just made a profile aswell so I'm not trying to bully anyone new. I've cleared my previous comment, I am not one who likes to indulge in slander.
  21. No alot of them are still alive and kicking, the same indian laws that apply to sikhs in India do not appear to apply to them..
  22. No, I'm also female and think men should be in the kitchen as much as the women should. I had just checked out your profile and it's dodgey, anyone can see that. I've got nothing against you, just stating what I see. You have a bunch of friends who have not made a single post(all look like fake profiles). I guess I'm being outspoken aswell.
