Tie a simple dastaar, doesn't have to be huge. make sure you tie ur joora on ur head, no bungas or anything. wrap the dastaar normally around, only cover the top once, dont tuck the covering too much because u have to open it so make it easy.

You dont have to be amritdhari to learn kirtan! i used to do kirtan on stage when I was little with my punjabi class. i think when ur matured you have to be amritdhari to do katha and kirtan but for kids its alright guess. @simran I got my vaja from india, they are really cheap over there. not sure about the weight and stuff.

Since you live around ontario and stuff, try going to the Sacha sauda store in Brampton, they sell a lot of stuffs, you can even find a copy of Maharaj sahib there but you cant just buy it. Im sure they will sell them there.

Leicester is kinda boring really. Southall has a huge Sikh Population, you can go to the Havelock Road Gurudwara, its pretty amazing and its huge you can always go to Jalebi Junction along southall broadway if you are super bored -

i have heard a lot about the 3HO doing hindu rituals. There is a gurudwara in new mexico, USA where they worship idols and they have pictures of yogi bhajan with a light around his head and stuff. Sometimes they do sukhasan at 2 in the afternoon so there is nothing in the darbar. The nishaan sahib there which is smaller than the american flag which is next to it. Nishaan sahib should always be higher than the other flags. (if there are any)

When combing my kesh and if there are tangles the tangles are left over in the brush once I take them out I put all the kesh that has fallen out wrapped up and put in an empty tissue box. Can I chuck the hair away or would it be disrespectful? How should I dispose them? Thanks.

My dad says we should burn old Gutka Sahibs that are in really bad condition while reciting paath. (Not sure which one and Im not sure if your allowed to do this)

My relatives in Vancouver had a farm they had a dog and they used to let it run away for the whole day by itself out somewhere in the wilderness or whatever and it always used to come back in the evenings and want to play with me lol Remember a dog is a mans best friend they should always come back i think it would've came back anyway. well sadly my cousins dog died. other dog they had got stolen or runover.
