  1. Will the Suleh in Pakistan allow the families of the Hindu/Sikh converts to Islam in 47 to revert back to their original faiths? There you go.
  2. LegalSingh, a vegetarian who eats fish is called a pescetarian.
  3. 1. Don't mind but you should read more about demographics esp those of Sikhs brother. Do you think 2500 Sikligars in Tamil Nadu can turn it into Sikh majority? Why not play safe by moving them to Panchkula where Sikh percentage can go from 7.7% to 8.2% with only 2500 Sikhs more? Bro play safe, why do you keep assuming converting people outside of Punjab will be so easy? I have talked to people working for Sikligars in UP and the Hindu villages hate Sardars coming to the villages repeatedly. Yes there have been converts but not enough to make a huge minorty in the states wiht 100/200 million people. 2. I have been advocating this for a long time: encouraging conversion to Sikhi in Sehajdhari form. Even if they don't take amrit, theres many chances of them marrying into Gursikh families. 3. I don't agree with removing SGGS out of Sindhi 'Mandirs'. Instead we should go and preach there and remove the idols. 4. Sikhi is not an ethnic religion but our nucleus as made by the Gurus is Punjab. Guru Nanak Sahib made Sikhs in the whole world but settled down in Kartarpur. The subsequent Gurus set up model communities in Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Kiratpur, Anandpur etc and besides that its much easier to get a majority in the north than waiting for all Dalits to convert to Sikhi (massive parchaar, too many years is needed for that). 5. You have misunderstood my point again, they will not only be moved to Punjab but neighbouring areas of Haryana and Rajasthan. Secondly your mistake is that you think we will spend alot of money moving them to Punjab... But brother 5 million poor Sikhs of ignored tribes ARE already poor and EVEN if you resettle them there you'll have to spend money on buildings (they live in huts), gurdwaras and education. With the constant fear of discrimination, intimidation and attack. In MP they discriminated our newly joined brothers and sisters openly, ki karlea appan? Apna garh houga tahi phatte chakange veer
  4. Instead of building them Gurdwaras in every village there in MP Bihar, try to shift them to Punjab or adjoining districts. Isn't that better on the long term?
  5. 4a. Agreed about parchaar in their languages and your other point. We need to give preferance to poor Sikh workers and also migrants who convert. 5a. Nothing to be added. 1. But the problem is that Khalistan is not/should not be landlocked. The map proposed in 1981 and most others designed by Panthic Singhs do have sea acces. However we need to sit down and discuss but we have alot of people asking Khalistan but everyones Khalistan is different. 2. I'd stil say first focus on Punjab and when things are slightly under control then start expanding... We can't try to expand when our nucleus is being attacked. There are many options and we should learn from Zionists who changed demographics, the same can be done in many districts neighbouring Punjab. 3. A billion people becoming Sikhs...? Aren't we being too enthousiastic brother ? We need a seperate Sikh nation soon, we can't convert all Hindus so easily. Not even a thousand Hindus have converted in Madhya Pradesh and BJP already took the matter up in 2002 and even now with the recent conversions locals and politicians are threatening them. We can't even save our Sikhs in Punjab, how will we save the new converts far away from our nucleus? God forbid, if someone attacks these Sikhs in MP we won't be able to do anything just like Delhi. We should stop dreaming that we can convert these people so easily and without any problem. I have talked to Sikh converts and many of them have been let down because they do not get mental, physical, financial support from the Qaum unlike Islam where converts are given so many facilities and encouragement. Read about the Tamil convert Sikh who did everything to preach Sikhi in his state but was let down by SGPC and not paid his salary, his name is Kandaswamy Singh. Same with Hindu converts in Sindh, Pak. We should rightly focus on Punjab first and then focus on neighbouring districts, make Sikh settlements in Haryana and Rajasthan (buying land is prohibited but encourage Punjabi Sikhs to marry -Sikh- girls from Himachal, Rajasthan etc so they can settle there). 4. No comment. 5. Aaliyah does not nec mean 'ethnic' immigration. It means that Jews from all over the world are helped to go back to their roots. Sikhi may not be a religion confined to one ethnicity, BUT the Gurus themselves set up the nucleuses in Punjab region (Kartarpur, Amritsar, Kiratpur, Anandpur) and Sikhs from Kabul to Tamil Nadu (such as Singh from the Panj Pyare who was of South Indian ethnicity) came to Punjab because that was our political center. Same way Punjab will always remain our spiritual and even political home - thats why we need a Sikh nation there first and we can build up and have more Sikh countries with ease. Secondly, Afghan and Pak Sikhs come to mind. They have such difficulties living in those countries but are too poor and scared to leave their countries because of the problems they will face by immigrating to India (visa, livelihood etc) BUT if we as a Sikh nation guarantee the safe immigration of Sikhs from ALL over the world regardless of race and ensure them a secure future then thats something to watch out for. Thats one of the reasons we need Khalistan - to ''cater'' the needs of the Sikh Qaum which can't be done in India. Even western Sikhs who wish to immigrate to Punjab/Khalistan will have it easier if the state helps in securing jobs etc. That was my point. 6. As I said Punjab is our nucleus. We can expand lateron, but to obtain something you will have to lose something too. The city state concept was just a suggestion or idea.
  6. Wish one day soon our Sikhs unite under one party. Imagine one Panthic party under Akaal Takht Sahib with Singhs like Simranjit Singh Mann, Jathedar Ranjit Singh, Bhai Karnail Singh Peer Mohd etc... Wishful thinking perhaps. Sad to say but we have been divided ever since 1708 with sellouts betraying Banda Singh Bahadur. Even now we can see several such cases amongst hardcore Sikh leaders. I respect Simranjit Singh Mann but he has made some serious blunders regarding unity, he repeated the 'keep politics in family' game and lost quite some support.
  7. Good job. Fight Islamism EVERYWHERE. UK, Punjab and elsewhere. No more love making to trees
  8. No to interreligious marriages, yes to interracial marriages where your partner accepts the Sikh way of life (be it your husband or your wife). Go for it brother, teach her more about Sikhi (history + Japji Sahib is a minimum) and marry her.
  9. There are many Sulah backside lickers out there; Gurdas Mann at Nakodri Sulah (died recently), Satinder Satti always saying Shabba Khair instead of Sat Sri Akaal (Fateh would be better, Babbu Mann, Diljit do bulauna Fateh though).
  10. Why do Sikhs love being politically correct tree lovers? Partial mistake is of the parchar that Sikhi teaches that all religions lead to God (lol) and the Bhagats (and Bhai Mardana) were Hindus and Muslims.
  11. Tyrants do not ask Sikhs wheter they read Raagmala or eat meat before killing them... Unity is the key.
  12. I am no fan of RSS, however their chief Sudarshan was getting angry on Sikhs way back in 2005 for not speaking out against forcible conversions to Christianity in Punjab. Maybe extreme but the only steps taken against Christian missionaries were by right wing Hindus. I remember an incident where they attacked a chuch and put SGGS parkash (may sound funny, but its a deep conspiracy in itself, killing two birds with a stone, killing Christians and putting blame on Sikhs). I remember how newspapers would report how mosques are being rebuilt with Panchayats money and how the Sikhs were proud of it... However the same Sikhs can't help their own fellow Sikhs who are living below the poverty line.
  13. Can you believe that Jathedar Ranjit Singh told me of the rise of Muslims being a significant problem way back in 2008. I'm starting to realise how fully true he was. Epidemic, we need to get extreme asap.
  14. PUNJAB WAQF BOARD TO TAKE UP ISSUE OF GRAVEYARDS WITH CM Tuesday, 19 February 2013 | PNS | Chandigarh | in Chandigarh Reeling with the shortage of space to bury its dead, the Punjab State Waqf Board will take up the issue of graveyards with the Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal. “Graveyards is a major problem for the Muslim population in villages and this will be discussed with Chief Minister on his visit to Malerkotla along with other issues,” said Waqf Board chairman and former IPS officer Izhar Alam. The Muslim community in Punjab has been facing the problem of shortage of space. “At times, they have to go as far as 30 km to perform the last rites while a number of times, they also wait for two to three days with the bodies to find some space in the nearest graveyard,” added Alam. The decision to this effect was taken up during the State-level Muslim conference at Ludhiana’s Dana Mandi. Besides, a Shariat panchayat has also been set up in the State to decide on matters related to marriage, divorce and inheritance of the community. A Muslim welfare and ‘Shariat’ society was also formed to look after the welfare of Muslims in the State. The ‘panchayat’ is claimed to be the first common platform for the community in the State since Independence. In addition, the society will also take up issues related to encroachments on Waqf properties and many others.
  15. CM loses cool, Waqf chief feels the heat Vishal Rambani, Hindustan Times Malerkotla, March 04, 2013 First Published: 11:10 IST(4/3/2013) | Last Updated: 11:12 IST(4/3/2013) Known as a cool customer, chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Sunday got really hot about state Waqf board chairman Izhar Alam making hate speech in his presence and snubbed him publicly. For the first time, he looked like disowning the former director general of police, whose wife, Farzana Alam, defeated Congress heavyweight Razia Sultana in the 2012 assembly election here. Upset with Alam, Badal even turned down his request for grant to Muslim institution Imarat-e-Sharia, saying: "I have no money for any unplanned announcement. Send me the plan; I will see." Speaking before him, Alam had said that Muslims being in significant number in Punjab could swing the election result any way they like and the state government should treat them unfairly. "Muslims are being maltreated," he said. "We are not getting any land for graveyards. The authorities don't listen to us." "The Muslims of Punjab have stronghold in 20 assembly constituencies, and if they can help a party win elections in the state, they can also defeat it," Alam said, which raised the CM's eyebrows. The former DGP then embarrassed the government with a remark about the bygone dark days of militancy. "Muslims have a strong bond with Sikhs. Even during militancy it was seen, as the gunmen killed either Hindus or Sikhs but no one touched Muslims," he said, at which the CM got the stage authorities to cut short the former DGP. Alam still had time to pitch for Rs. 50 lakh as donation for Imarat-e-Sharia. At his turn to speak, the CM not only told Alam that militancy was against all humanity but also reminded him that the "biggest achievement of the government had been that it had ensured communal harmony and peace in the state". Angry, he declined to give any grant for the building Alam had sought. When Alam got up from his chair to interrupt the CM and remind him of the request, the CM snubbed him. "I have no money for gurdwaras, temples or mosques," he said. "Tell me if you have any plan for the community. I will allocate enough money but not announce it here." To keep his Muslim vote bank intact, the CM said the state would rid the Waqf property of encroachment to enable the board to use the land as source of income for the welfare of the community. Lauding the institution of Imarat-e-Sharia, he said that it would help unite the Muslims. The CM left the function after only 35 minutes, not giving the community anything. Alam's wife, chief parliamentary secretary Farzana Nisaara Khatoon, later, declared a contribution of Rs. 10 lakh. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, member of the Rajya Sabha, also left the programme midway.
  16. We need a extreme right, Sikh political party along the lines of Shiv Sena and AIMIM (Muslim Majlis party).
  17. SGPC does NOTHING for our qaum with their 600 crore annual budget. Singh Sabha movement managed to convert more Sikhs a century back with no such budget, imagine what we could do with 600 crores if it wasn't spent for personal benefits?
  18. 1. Before making 'Khalistan' or thinking towards achieving it, SAVE PUNJAB. 2. ISingh veer has rightly summed up a few good suggestions to save Punjab and make place for Khalistan. 3. We need Sikhs sympathetic 'to THE cause' high up in the Indian Govt. We need to make our children IAS officers, lawyers and not only doctors or engineers (do not underestimate what Sikh police officers could potentionally do for our qaum). Increase public support for the Panthic cause, wheter its Amritdharis or Monas (Panth has been helped by Sehajdharis before too, like Bhai Kaura Mal), this includes celebrities. 4. Replace Bhaiya migrant labour force with Sikligar, Lobana, Satnami, Johari Sikhs. Start with your house in Punjab (replace the bhaiye with Sikh workers). 5. Don't give money in Punjab Gurdwaras but give to the poor Sikhs. About Khalistan itself, I feel the views expressed in the video are rather childish. 1. Landlocked? Its no problem, there are over 40 landlocked nations. Besides Khalistan does extend to the Arabian Sea (Kachh area), the most accepted maps do show sea acces. 2. ''600 Million Harijans'' into Sikhi? We can't even take care of Punjab, lets focus on that first then we can turn to the rest of India. We lost a oppertunity once with BR Ambedkar though. Also during Singh Sabha movement alot of Sikhs in Tamil Nadu converted but they reverted back when there was no support from the Qaum. We should learn from Sulley in the aspect of respecting and encouraging new Sikhs. 3. Lets even say the Dalits convert to Sikhi and India is Sikh majority, but you will still have problems with the different ethnicities (Tamils) and Muslim extremists in Kashmir, UP etc. 4. We need our historical home back - atleast the remaining portion in India. 5. We will have a system like the Jewish 'Aaliyah', repatriating Sikhs from other countries (esp Pak Afghan and parts of India not in Khalistan). 6. Ever thought of city-state status for the Takhts outside?
  19. Brother, agreed that there is some benefit but its not just 3 persons killing an Indian student (could've been Sikh too). What about the 19 arrested this year? We just need to be more strict about whom we let in. Other states in India have laws such as: * Anti conversion law (atleast 5 states have it) and strict action against missionaries * Outsiders can't buy land. But in our own Punjab Christians are going crazy converting our brothers and sisters and Bhaiyye/Gujjar Muslims are buying huge lands... What is being done now in Punjab is a very sinister move, we have to wake up before we end up being a tiny minority of less than 40%. I am pretty certain that the Christian and Muslim population combined has reached somewhat near 10% (compared to 3-4% a decade earlier).
  20. Immigration changing Punjab's demographics in interesting ways: Roemer (Wikileaks) By Vijay Sharma on Wed, 08/31/2011 - 13:05 US politician and Obama's first ambassador Timothy Roemer, a keen observer of demographic trends, rather dramatically describes the changes taking place in the Indian state of Punjab due to immigration from Eastern India and Bangladesh. Based on his interaction with social and political leaders from the state, Roemer also noted that the Islamic religion -- swept out from Punjab during the Partition -- was also making a return with the migrants. "Mosques in Punjab, once padlocked after the partition of Indian in 1947 and the ensuing mass exodus of Punjabi Muslims into Pakistan, are reopening and thriving," he said, quoting Pradeep Kashyap, the Vice-Chairman of the US-based American India Foundation. "It will bear watching how the Punjabi population (and the state government) react if the Muslim call to prayer becomes more pervasive across the state in the years ahead," Roemer said in the February 2010 cable published by Wikileaks. He was writing to Washington soon after violent clashes between 'locals' and 'outside laborers' in Punjab in December 2009. Quoting others, Roemer pointed out that if it was the (mostly Dalit) workers from UP and Bihar who came in the first wave of immigration to agricultural Punjab, they are now being replaced by the even cheaper Bangla-speaking Muslims, presumably from Bangladesh. For now, he points out, it is the economics, rather than religious prejudice, that seems to be winning, going by the acceptance of these laborers in a state that had the bloodiest history of Hindu-Muslim violence during the Partition of India. "Punjab, on both sides of the border, experienced what we would call ethnic cleansing today. There were almost no Muslims left in Indian Punjab, today, that is no longer true. Partition based on religion seems irrelevant in the face of economics," Roemer quoted Kashyap. Many Punjabi business owners are grateful for cheap labor, praising migrant laborers for becoming "the backbone of both industry and agriculture in Punjab" after each instance of violent clashes in Punjab, Roemer went on. "According to the Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings, Ludhiana alone has 700,000 migrant workers. For Punjab as a whole, the numbers comfortably run in the millions. According to media reports, most of these laborers make between USD $80-$130 a month, and live in dingy rooms with eight to ten occupants to save money. "Avtar Singh, general secretary of the Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings said that industry in the city is already facing a 25% labor shortage because migrants had left Punjab fearing increased violence. Industrial and agricultural organizations joined forces and urged greater security for migrant workers from state government officials," Roemer reported. However, not everyone in Punjab is happy about the change as Roemer also found out. "Herkawaljit Singh, of the Punjabi language Ajit Group, echoed the discomfort many Punjabis feel with the rise of Muslim and Dalit migrant communities. He told PolOff that the migrants were "culturally different" from Punjabis and did not integrate into mainstream Punjabi society," he pointed out.
  21. Fully true. 1) Alot of Biharis, UPites migrants were Muslims. 2) Many mosques have been rebuilt in the last decade. 3) The once virtually empty mosque of Ludhiana has lakhs of <banned word filter activated> praying on Friday. 4) Gujjar invasion of Punjab, they are illegaly making settlements on lands. 5) Love Jihad (conversion of Sikh girls) has also started in Punjab; one case has been reported while others have gone unreported. 6) Huge cash of weapons was recovered from Jalandhar area in a Gujjar Dera some time back. 7) WikiLeaks reports of a report from the American Embassy that Muslims numbers are rising quickly in East Punjab and this will cause for problems in the future. When will we wake up?
  22. ISingh, before being in a place to comment on issues you have to research about it. http://www.punjaboutlook.com/19-lovely-professional-university-students-of-african-origin-arrested/ "The police arrested 19 African students of Lovely Professional University for indulging into rioting and theft at a public place. " - 15 June 2013 http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2013-06-17/india/40026536_1_police-station-police-officials-yannick-nizhanga JALANDHAR: Nineteen students from different African countries studying at Lovely Professional University in Jalandhar were booked by police for theft, rioting and causing hurt, following high drama for around four hours, during which police had a tough time controlling them. The accused allegedly had a scuffle with a youth from Himachal Pradesh on Saturday and later with a photo journalist. They also reportedly snatched their bag and camera respectively, which were later recovered by police from the accused. http://www.indianexpress.com/news/sudan-condoles-mizo-students-killing/787948/ Sudan has condoled the death of a 22-year-old Mizo youth who was beaten to death allegedly by three African students of a private university in Punjab during a football match last month. Great boost to Punjabs economy according to ISingh Wrong is wrong, stop being so politically correct that you ruin your own Qaum.
  23. 1. Look up on google before crying about 'racism'. If you ever been to Punjab or follow news you would know what these students been doing. They killed a Mizo student, last month robbed someone (reported, dozen cases go unreported), resisted arrest from police for hours and snatched cameras from media persons, its caught on tape go look it up. We don't need more gandh in Punjab. No one is racist against Africans here, but the students at Lovely Uni are definitely doing more bad than good for Punjab. Our people go and work hard in Africa and they employ them people, they don't go there to rob and kill so stop comparing. Funny how you turned it into a race issue when no one talks of 'racial things'. 2. Sikhs are not Hindus but sided with them in 1947, get your share from them. Asking Pak area for Khalistan is a ploy of the Indian Govt to lessen the support Khalistanis get from Pakis (not that I care).
  24. 1. African students help Punjab economy? How? By stealing? By thugging and beating up people? Google it and you'll find them killing students for a football match, refusing to be arrested by police, manhandling police officers and media. 2. In 1947, Muslims got Pak and Hindus got India. We came to India with our share, so why bother Pakis now if our share is with Hindustanis?
