The strategy of the Islamic groups is that by taking East Punjab then you have an Islamic chain from Pakistan all the way to Bengal. They known that Sikhs are moving out of Punjab so they are striking. By taking East Punjab they cut off India from Jammu Kashmir and therefore control the waters. This is a geo-political move to break India.

Even though we Sikhs can be very corrupt, it seems that on the subcontinent we are perhaps the least corrupt. It seems that we play by the rules. Perhaps the reality is the culture of the subcontinent is no longer compatible with Sikhi and we are as a quam are no longer compatible with this place. Maybe this in part explains why we are moving out in droves.

If I go by what the posts are saying, people are hiding because the system is against them. It is not because of some dwindling population but because the system favours aggressors which is why mobs are allowed to behave with impunity. It looks like our community is trying to work within the rules when other are not. So basically we are fighting with one hand tied behind our back. When the system fails you then what are you left with?

You take out the ring leaders, the mob falls apart. You don't have to use violence all the time, but if you make their head space feel fear, you get them to behave the way you want them to.
