  1. The rot was set in Punjab a couple of thousands of years ago. I think you have answered your own question.
  2. That sounds like a lot of today's Pakistanis
  3. Punjabis never followed the rules. Alex would never got any further because he would have faced a mutiny on his hands. He left with his tails between his legs.
  4. I wonder how accurate this depiction is of Punjab more that 2000 years ago. I know Punjab has been conquered and invaded many times, but there is there is one thing that remains undefeated in Punjab Diarrhea!
  5. She married one to try these skills on didn't she? ??
  6. I think it must be something in the water, lol
  7. She may think differently when she starts earning. For all we know, she maybe think of sending money back to support her parents. Drama-wise, I have no idea. But if there is drama by going what you are saying it seems to be from your wife but that is only from your point of view.
  8. Some people have the need for drama. They need the emotional highs and lows. Remember, as a breadwinner, your money is the family's money and her money is her money.
  9. Once.. no longer. It's morally bankrupt country. The social contract that kept it intact is unravelling. There is no fear for any repercussions.
  10. There are also a lot of fake rape cases in India. Google Deepika Bhardwaj.
  11. This is exactly what Proactive mentioned regarding Lord Singh on the Remembrance Day thread.
  12. "Why does everyone call me Paji ". Sounds like a sitcom.
  13. Another observation watching morning TV. There are a lot of Asian female presenters but the Asian male ones (very rare you see them) like those doctors tend to be on the camp side.
  14. During this particular lockdown I have been watching more terrestrial TV with the commercials. There is a lot more black representation in commercials for various products. From a cultural point of view, there has been a bigger push.
  15. Interestingly, Sikh Awareness Society were quite active on twitter exposing groomers. They have been very quiet in the last couple of years. I suspect that they have been told to keep quiet or all they have been shadow banned.
  16. What we discussed about de-platforming is happening to our people.
  17. I saw something on the news about Marina. Apparently her mother went out of her way to not talk about her side of the family or her heritage. This had something to do with her mother running away from an arranged marriage. Marina does not know any Punjabi or anything about any of the Indian languages. She mentioned that her mother was from Pakistan. But this is how far removed she is about her heritage. Anyone's whose family came from that side of the border never say they are from Pakistan. They will say that their family lived there before partition in what is now Pakistan.
  18. Threaten to call immigration, that makes behave sharpish
  19. The President of the US has put her pronouns in her twitter profile. Is this what the US electorate voted for?
  20. Some of the UK Sikhs that want commemoration are looking for acknowledgment. This is the game a lot of minorities are looking to. You see this with Black History Month where black people want acknowledgment in British culture going back centuries. If one minority gets some acknowledgment then we all want some as well. It is FOMO in some ways. It takes great resolve to go your own way.
  21. Let's create our own Shaheed's day. We commerate our own and not bother about the rest. "Lest we forget", my a$$. Until the next war!
  22. I think you need to get off social media for a while, you need a digital detox.
  23. Vaheguru helps those that help themselves. Vaheguru wants people to take action, not just sit there twiddling the thumbs
