  1. Shocking. You can learn a lot from the past about gurdwara elections and the masands running them. Though its time for change. The Panth needs it. I really think TPV can make a change it just needs support and if there are elder Sikhs stopping them I would like to see them try. If it does succeed then other gurdwaras around the world need to copy.
  2. Panthic.org busted dhunda and now this one good job spreading the truth about these parcharaks trying to serve the Panth.
  3. yeah SGPC is gonna make better arrangements with more illiterate Sikhs in their taskforce doing dirty work.............
  4. I explained the situation above but I just mean by having the Khalsa as a army regiment maybe as a government sponsored army that at least lets what the Khalsa should do to help around the world. For example for Khalsa Aid they are doing a fantastic job. They are spreading awareness of Sikhi to people who never heard of the word Sikh in their life. This can bring people into SIkhi and bring awareness about Sikhi greatly. It can be done but will it be planned?
  5. we need to become sants first then sipahis. Sant-Sipahi. In a sense I am saying we have to be spiritually devoted to Sikhism before starting up a Khalsa regime. Now we don't exactly have to be a sant but in a sense working towards it while being physically ready for war. Some Pakistan General said Sikhs are the best soldiers on the world they have both mental and physical endurance. We need to keep both in balance to show what the Khalsa is. You are right Sikhs should have their own proper sena but in India that isn't going to happen. The Indian army has its own Sikh regiment and those Sikhs are brainwashed. India will never allow Sikhs to have their own private separate military training. We would have to do it in hiding but they label us as extremists or separatists. Just think about it how much the world would be inspired if they saw the Khalsa taking down ISIS or capturing kidnapped children. We would inspire others to be part of Khalsa and become Sikhs. That is one way of parchar basically think about it. We Sikhs aboard in India can make a private army but first we need to become rehitvaan Singhs and Kaurs and train ourselves. We are indeed behind in modern warfare. I wouldn't be surprised if Sikhs have to fight on a religion side for example the Hindus against the Muslims in the future and then get betrayed again. We are in a bad state in defending our kaum as of right now. Our Sikh panth is getting eliminated without a single bullet by the Indian Gov't! This can lead to a bad future possibly if we can't unify, cooperate, and execute plans for the Panth.
  6. Even thought I respect Gian Gurbachan Singh he is being kept silent on big Sikh issues so a sarbat khalsa has to happen not in just Pakistan but over the whole world.
  7. This is why the Khalsa should have its own army regiment......
  8. No doubt Jarnail SIngh Ji was an educated man of Taksal. Sant ji knew about the poltiical issues of Punjab and the things happening to Sikhs. He was a parcharik looking after the Sikh Panth. But you have to say just because he knew political issues did he know how to deal with them and how things are run in a country? It would be a tough question to answer if the Sikhs got their rights in Punjab or lets say Khalistan as a matter of this fact would he be fit for president?
  9. exactly your on point, the lives of the mahapurakhs such as Jarnail Singh should motivate us and encourage ourselves to work on our bhagti. Did Sant Jarnail singh ever talk about the history of Damdami Taksal and how started from Baba Deep Singh? I suppose he did but I am not sure because they were critics that didn't think Damdami Taksal didn't exist before 1970's.
  10. yeees perfect idea for many Sikhs who's gurdwaras don't run Punjabi classes properly.
  11. Alright wait I thought he got darshan of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. I know it doesn't matter which Guru but it was Guru Gobind Singh Ji or Guru Nanak Devi Ji?
  12. There is not really you can do to fix the situation of Muslims in your city. If the Muslims try to do anything big in related to terrorism they are just digging themselves deeper hole in their trust with other people. If I were you in a situation like that I'd try to get involved in martial arts gatka.. etc so you can defend yourself or others and carry on your life unless it becomes a bigger problem than it already is. WJKK WJKF
  13. Not trying to dishonor Sant Ji but he wasn't educated in studies as he dropped out of school at a young age. But he was a influential parcharik who looked after the Sikhs and wanted equal rights for all. Sant ji was not educated in politics or even a political figure. Bhul Chuk Maaf
  14. True. Guru Gobind Singh Ji said himself "Raj Bina Nahin Dharam Chale Hain, Dharam Bina Sab Dalle Malle Hain" . There is no stable Sikh sovereignty at the moment. Also Guru ji said something on the point where no one gives freedom one has to attain freedom;something along those lines.
  15. I wouldn't like to see a revolution, but what else can the Sikhs in Punjab do. In this case many Sikhs in Punjab know about whats going on but aren't taking full action or simply can't because its impossible. The silent genocide going on Punjab plus our Akal Takht being run by corrupt masands won't come to an end in a pleasant way. The Sikhs need a leader or come together to achieve certain goals and get rid of the corrupt leaders and the corruption that is going on. As of right now Akal Takht is a weak leadership for us Sikhs aboard India. Again I wouldn't want to see a revolution, but lets be real what else do Sikhs in general can do to take out the corruption out of Punjab. Especially us Sikhs aboard India we can't make change happen unless we are in Punjab.
  16. Just noticed not one sister has given her advice yet. :lol2:
  17. Once Sikhs have leadership it would be a good idea to have our own media outlet publishing "truth" instead of allowing famous news outlets spread false garbage.
  18. I hope the Sikh youth in Punjab rise up and get rid of these SGPC goons controlling the gurdwaras.
  19. SGPC involved in attack on Sri Harmander Sahib in 1984 Amritsar, Punjab: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandak Committee (SGPC) is the caretaker of all historical Sikh Gurudwaras in India except Delhi. Delhi Gurudwaras are being managed by Delhi Gurdwara Management Committee (DGMC). Both property management entities are being 100% funded by donations from the Sikh Community. Millions of dollars are being pumped into these organizations everyday and at the end of the day they are directly controlled by political parties of India. Majority of the time DGMC is in favor of Congress Party and SGPC is always in favor of Shiromani Akali Dal. Attack on Sri Harmander Sahib by Indira Gandhi led government was carried out 30 years ago. It is now revealed that Akali Dal and SGPC were kept in confidence and were 100% involved in meetings with Indira Gandhi’s office a few weeks before the attack on Sri Harimander Sahib. Akali Dal under Longowal, Badal and SGPC under Tohra chief never liked the idea of the popularity of Saint and Soldier Sant Jarnail Singh Bhinderanwale in the hearts of Sikh community. People started listening to Sant Jarnail Singh ji because of his effective and religious leadership. Sant Jarnail Singh ji’s presence at Sri Harmander Sahib was an eyesore for SGPC. They were under the pressure from Government agencies to take action against activists of Bhinderanwale. After murder of Bhai Sodhi, Sant Jarnail Singh ji Bhinderanwale came to know had enough of the true face and goals of SGPC. Seeing that, SGPC and Alkali Dal quickly gave permission and helped Indira Gandhi to attack Sri Harmander Sahib. In Onkar Singh Goraya book, Operation Bluestar and After – An eyewitness account, Brig (retd) Goraya, then a colonel with the 15 Infantry Division based in Amritsar that was involved in Operation Blue Star, telling insights into the meek conduct of Akali leaders trapped inside as he was put directly in-charge of pulling them safely out of the temple complex. He was given the room number from central govt where SGPC and Akali leaders were hiding. On the morning of June 6, 1984 Col Goraya was tasked to bring out the top Akali leaders trapped inside the complex and whose lives were in danger from the activists. When he reached the Guru Ram Das Sarai, inside the complex he found the dead and dying in different rooms. Some injured pilgrims begging for water and army men oblivious to the cries, as they concentrated on clearing the rooms of activists. Col Goraya found them in room no 8 and when he told Sant Harcharan Singh Longowal, Gurcharan Singh Tohra, Balwant Singh Ramoowalia and others that he had come to escort them to safety, “I heard a collective sigh of relief. They all got up instantly to follow me and there was no denial or hesitation.” Very different from an ‘eyewitness’ account given out by the Shiromani gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) later on, according to which the leaders Sant Longowal apparently asked an army major to shoot them, saying that they had no wish to live when the ‘the army’ had killed so many pilgrims, staff and volunteers. For the first time in 400 years the recital of gurbani was about to stop in the Golden Temple. As dusk fell on June 5, commandos dressed in jet-black dungarees slipped into the temple complex through the road between the serias and the Guru Ramdass langar building. They were able to bring back safely Akali Dal leaders like Harchand Singh Longowal and Gurcharan Singh Tohra along with their key aides living in the Teja Singh Samundari Hall, Guru Ramdass Serai and Guru Nanak Niwas. As men of the 10 Guards under Lt-Colonel Mohammed Israr, regarded as some of the finest troops in the world and trained specifically for the assault role, prepared for the H-hour, hasty consultations got underway in the serais where moderate Akali leaders like Longowal, Tohra and the Dal’s official spokesman Balwant Singh Ramoowalia were hiding. Seeing this, Taksali Singhs and other jathabandis took over Sri Akal Takht Sahib without any fight in 1986. SGPC workers and officers simply left their desks and offices during the Sarbat Khalsa gathering of 1986. Under false leadership of various jathabandis, sikh youth started getting eliminated by fake encounters and general public trust on jathabandis drastically fell in the negative levels. Only less than a dozen out of 170 SGPC members passed 10th grade. Majority of the SGPC members are involved in drinking and consuming narcotic products. Immediate family members of elected SGPC members are patits (shorn hair). Few of the SGPC members are even involved in drug trafficking and work directly with Punjab political party “Akali Dal (Badal)”. Annual budget of close to 1000 crores is usually passed behind the closed doors and that only take few hours. There is no outside audit financial accounting firm nor any ethics department to make sure everything is going according to law and Sikh code of conduct. 20. I saw that Sikhs in Haryana wanted their own separate gurdwara committee and Prakash Badal went after them and said oh no Congress is trying to divide the Panth blah blah blah. Also, SGPC leaders need to be taken out. It is not the old days SGPC where they went after Sikh interests only. SGPC will not create extra seats.I agree with Jugraj Singh that there should be some Sikh leadership committee outside of India. Another Takht or committee is fine with me but I think SGPC and Akal Takht Jathedar will oppose this idea. I just hope for a bright future for Khalsa.
  21. We still have to a accept them as Sikhs and put those Sikhs back on the right path and not just shun them and make our population decrease.
  22. That is devastating news. I hope you can help the girls out in their case. I have to admit they are bigger problems on our doorstep within our Panth. We can focus on this issue once we have Panthic unity then we can go after sub-issues. As Jugraj Singh Ji mentioned in his video on Modern Panthic issues how we all are fighting about other sects that bring in followers but no one is targetting 75% who are not into Sikhi. We can deal with those later but as of right now we have to have strong parchar. WJKKWJKF
