    Eduardo... Ahh that does sound nice. greece was on my mind. Its pretty ticks the boxes. Sun, sea, sand and loads of character and things to sea. I was going to book it however after seeing the financial meltdown i thought better to leave it for now. ive seen hungary. Croatia sounds like a good one. Ill definately look into that. thanks.     Thanks for your suggestion. I am from the uk london and endinburgh has been done. I was wanting more of sun sea sand with some character and things to see rather than just sitting on the beach.

    Hi folks wanted any decent suggestions from gursikhs. Where in europe is it safe and good to holiday for gursikhs. I do mean the places like spain etc sun sea or city breaks woukd be great to know about. ive been to alicante and thats ok. No lager louts etc And portugal (algarve) was lovely too. Just thinking where the sikhs are most of the time... thankyou.

    I second that. I was thinking the same. Thing is people should have more shame just jumping up and fighting in the prayer hall. Ive seen this behaviour in many uk gurdwareh. Its really not spiritual when a person starts shouting and balling. pathetic!

    WJKK WJKF. Sangat ji. Im looking for sevadaars for next year march. Some points i wasnt happy with this year. 1. Our sangat sitting on the road and kirbs when listening to the speakers , eating food. I was hurt seeing our elders sitting like beggars eating roti on the kerbs. Solution:- we need people who have events companies who can help with plastic seating for a few hours. 2. I seen a few ladies in tears as theyd sprained ankles, but no first aiders about. Solution:- We need first aid sevadaars and people that can provide any foot massage for elders. (5mins). 3.I seen a few sevadaars running up and down trying to keep people off the paths as it was obstructing normal pedestrians. Solution:- we need lots more sevadaars who are fit enough to run or walk briskly to provide stewarding and security. If you have a SIA badge then thats a bonus. 4. After the march people were tired and tried finding the coaches it was bedlam. Confused people struggling to find the coaches. Solution:- we need more young sevadaars who could guide people to the coaches on the embankment by holding up plakards as guides for the sangat.     puthar ji life is a journey. We are not given a manual of what todo. things happen on their own time. Your still very young and will have urges and wants, you want to live, taste, hear and try new things and spread your wings. If you decide to lessen your appearance , to wear makeup wear your hair out etc its your karma. I have never taken amrit however grew up the same as you went through uni wearing a desi dastar and beard left uni and after marriage suffered depresion i cut my beard and hair. Ive hit 40 and feel mature enough to keep it and practive sikhi better. I want it and have a thirst for it. Sometimes its karma When things dont go smoothly. Do what yiur heart says however do ardaas before hand for guru ji will guide you.

    Tbh the amount of sikh and hindu GIRLS that follow bollywood actresses and actors is immense....they are the role models. These women are glorified prostitutes! Then kids are watching porn which. The girls now think in order to be sexually attractive they need to dress with hair extension and wear long eyelashes and dress slutty. There is no fear of god and consequences like i was a kid if i tried to trim my beard id get a wooping from my dad. Now with so much child protection kids are ruling the roost... so why not knock off school to have a day out with a dude with a flash car and money. The sikh girls need to be tought good values at a young age so when they grow up its a primary behaviour to have good ethics and morals. If mummy and daddy watch love watching bollywood prostitutes girating and the salman khans girating whilst flashing his six pack then what hope is there. Also mummy and daddy enjoy getting drunk and listening to RnB rap music which is all illuminati with spells yes 'spells' that are etched into our heads. Then what chance has a child. I read about a western englishman who didnt let his kids watch tv however let them read. Allot of western world who dont agree with the amount of subliminal porn and sexual invitation or thought provoking ads on tv so dont let the kids watch. However reading is the best and ive seen and heard and done it myself to cleanse myself.

When we pray its from the heart and soul. And through our 10th gate (dasam duar). We believe the link is made through the top middle point of our cranium. We dont direct our prayer towards amritsar. The gurdwaras in india all have some sort of history or story behind them. the golden temple or religously known as harmandar sahib ji was setup by our first guru ji.

    Folks ive seen 30secs more of this clip and the singh is telling the gorah kneel before me or else its simple im gonna knock you out... It came across as the singh being the aggresor and bully from the longer video i seen of this. Respect due the singh. Hed make a champion boxer!!!

    Id have sevadaar ushers standing up by the entrance and kindly asking people to take there conversations elsewhere. Sit in the divan and listen or get out! Its one way traffic. kids running about like its a game from to daddy across the hall, men chatting and wpmen gassing. Its supposed tp be a spiritual experience being in the sangat.

    Yes definately my father always went on how the conservatives only looked after the rich however labour looked after the working hard grafting factory workers. Most indians either worked in the mills or in engineering (ford dagenham) migrant workers were paid less but grafted hard and labour looked after them... However now look what labours done to the country. Open the floodgates said yes to being part of europe and funded and partaken in illegal wars etc...now tony blairs got a cushy number in the european union in brussels...??

    Well labours out of the window...ed milliband went to a gurdwara and had a media blackout had his people tell everyone not to take any pics etc and children and people were pushed out of the way without any respect. He was ashamed of being seen with a bandana on his ugly head... So wants the votes from sikhs and ticked the box for visiting a gurdwara but didnt want the media involved...

    if people practised sikhi then one doesnt laugh at the other person downfalls. Life can be hard for the best of us and sometimes its human nature to feel netter when youre doing better than someone else however its evil when people start vocally talking about others sikhs setbacks. We all will have some kind of setbacks. Thing is the unity thing goes out of the window as peopld dont help when its needed. So one gets upset and does things individually with own family rather than a community effort. Ie. Ive helped people in business and then the sikh i helped tried took my contracts?? Dog eat dog world... As a gursikh i let it go and allowed it however ive im going to validate a person before i help as helping a petson who ends up stabbing you in the back is only a fools game.

    I had exactly the same problem! Thing is, it was the committee members having a good loud chat whilst the akhand path was in its final stage... i ended up walking out. Just cannot concentrate or hear anything. I guess downside to sangat is that 'some people' just dont know when to zip it shut and pray or listen. Sad times however i know exactly what your saying. i think signage in panjabi would be good and chobehdaars like in india are needed to control and silence or guide sangat.

    S4ngh wake up and smell the coffee. ive kicked off a few doors and brought 'sisters' back home... i may be a bit harsh in saying 'sikh girls' however enough is enough id educate my sister or daughter to keep away and not even continplate thinking of a relationship before marriage unless we knew the boy or family. And for the record i divorced a sikh slapper who was a cheap tart. Unless youve been in my shoes you wont get my opinion. I humbly ask that you stop making comments on my commemts. Its upsetting seeing the 'slappers' roaming about with these paki bengali or black gangsters then they settle with a good sikh boy and end up divorcing him after having kids to him and taking halve of his wealth and then reverting back to the slapper lifestyle... Waheguru ji bless good sikhs to keep away from this madness.
