    Once I watched a programme on tv not long ago. There were two brothers and a mum, I am not sure where their dad was. They didn’t show him. One brother shakkad amrit and the other one remained a mona. They showed their mother expressing disgust at the one that had done amrit shakkad. She said, she was ‘shocked’ when he returned from the Sikh place after he had amrit shakkad. She said she preferred him better when he was a mona. She said she followed Sikh religion but didn’t believe she needed to do the amrit shak at all.

    You can improve your voice by neighing and braying from your bedroom window every morning. Start at 4 a.m and finish at 8 a.m every day, making sure not to disturb anyone else around you. Believe you me it’s the best exercise for your vocal chords. It will repair them and at the end of each day they will not sound like a broken drum or a string instrument out of tune. Your voice will sound like a c minor from what it is now. You will be singing kirtan in very sweet and soft voice and not like your usual one. Don’t forget to post a video of it when you have achieved your goal.

    Yes, they were better off in rural Punjab ‘cos they fitted in better there. They become totally confused after they migrated overseas. They lost their Sikh values, Sikh customs and Sikh religion. They don’t follow any of these properly anymore, ‘cos they are totally lost and confused about their identity. Their lives are full of mishmash rubbish, neither here nor there, neither Sikhs nor anything else! Confused lot.

    Omg! Are they humans or janwars? They look ever so strange to me! They look like asses in human bodies to me.Why are they beating this woman with a stick? Besides, why is she wearing funny clothes in the first place? I have never seen anything like this before. So many men beating one poor helpless woman with a stick! Who are these men? Are they her relatives? Jesus Christ!

    Are you joking? Why don’t you become a Sikh before marrying this girl? If you don’t want to become a Sikh then the only option would be to marry her before a statue of some devi/devta you believe in. I doubt if she is a true Sikh anyway!

    Be thankful to them! Who fed you when you were a baby? Who bought you clothes, shoes and books or paid for your piano, tennis or even rugby lessons? How can you be so ungrateful for everything your parents did for you? You are a wretched little moaner and all you ever do is nothing but moan, moan, moan and moan some more with no stopping! Open your eyes and see how much you already owe them before you start judging them for giving you money? Well, you can always give it to some unfortunate needy Sikh children if you don’t want to keep it. Besides, nothing lasts forever!
