No, you havn't said anything wrong everything is in Guru Ji's Hukam, and obviously Guru Ji wants them to do that seva etc, but the rest of the panth not allowed to do darshan will always be kind of funny im sure you will agree but its one of those thigns I guess you gotta live by(the way the world works)... and yes he must have done something good in his past or maybe even this life (who are we to judge) to deserve this Gurfateh ^^,

Im not educating anyone, but having a picture of Mahraj in a Darbar sahib or anywhere in the Gurdwara is not wrong.. its like a Farther having a picture of his son in his room... So whats wrong for Guru Ji to have picture of his children in his room?(darbar).. [Anyone who says now WE ARE ALL CHILDREN OF GURU JI AND WE SHUD ALL HAVE OUR PICTURE IN THE DARBAR SAHIB.. well that is just something Id expect from a 8 year old kid which would be totally against the point..] Also Sant Baba Nand Singh Ji was a Puran Brahm Giani there is no doubt about this.. and a Brahm Giani is from Nirankaar (sooner you realise this its better ).. There's only so much parents can hold us back. There comes an age when your parents won't be able to hold you back anymore. But I agree from my experience some parents seem to fear that their child might be exposed to fanaticism or extremism by having exposure to Sikhi. In these cases we need to think more strategically about the type of parchaar we are doing and to what audience. Watch out for misinterpretations, it happens very easily. Talking about 1984/Shaheeds freaks alot of the Sangat out, think wisely and assess your audience when speaking about the issues of 1984. If you want to glorify the movement than be able to describe, justify and answer all issues raised, don't just show a video and expect everyone to accept your viewpoint. If people do not respond to parchaar or there is negative feedback then accept the criticism and reassess what you are talking about and look at different ways of getting the message across. Don't be distant from the Sangat, be part of them, be part of the physical sewa taking place there, be an active member of your community (Sikh and non Sikh). And above all don't forget to Smile!! +1

Namstang, Im not talking about any other part of this topic however, Chaur Sahib isn't for respect lol... Its done so that Guru Ji doesnt feel hot and so that a Fly does not come near them. It doesnt have to be a Chaur Sahib - it can be a Pakhi ... thats your sharda and understanding that Guru Ji isnt a book :lol: and now for the Fire Arti thing, im pretty sure holding a plate of fire infront of Guru Ji isnt doing them any seva or anything - unless its meant to be some sort of amusement or somethin apart from that Id state that as a Ritual and it cannot be compared to doing Chaur Sahib.. no offence to no1.
