  1. Why is there the demand when there are so many alternative remedies for anxiety etc. Homeopathy, ayurveda and other nature cures are easily and cheaply available. Are they promising to see their future? I went to see a psychic a few years ago who was able to remote view but his shop was shut down by the time of my second appointment. So it seems some of these people are operating outside the law. Some psychics are also spiritual healers so this service could be useful say for those with serious conditions not easily cured. However these documentaries also aim to be sensationalise for shock value for increased viewerships so should be taken with a pinch of salt.
  2. Sharia law is in operation in Pakistan. Which means that the testimony of a non Muslim is 1/2 that of a Muslim. So no chance of justice or human rights. Hence what India has CAA for those suffering human rights abuses. Hopefully NRC will be passed to remove illegals from India adding to such problems. After all they voted for separation.
  3. There are patents proving their worth. I suggest you read up.
  4. Cow dung has anti radiation properties and hence why its used to make plaster and paint. It can also cure many other diseases such as cancer.
  5. Then why didn't it happen on any other day and why was it worldwide? This link denies that it only happened on that day. Millions of gallons of extra milk were bought only on that day. Further how can energy pass through solid stone as happens in Hindu temples. I've been told that there are temples that won't allow an aeroplane to fly over, instead it flies around the temple the energy is so strong.
  6. If you understand radio frequency and scalar waves you will know that everything is connected. Doing namaskar to the sun has health benefits as it forces us to wake up to meet the sun. Not that I have ever done it as there's hardly any sun in the UK. But due to corona I have made a special effort to top up on my Vit D3. As for reaching our relatives many people believe that their relatives come to them in dreams. How is that possible if we are to believe that only the physical universe exists and is perceived? I have had specific experiences that made me believe that I had had met my parents during dreams because things happened that I was unaware of and not thought possible. I've also heard of incidents of ancestors that have passed taking over their relatives body to bring a message of advice to them. This was from a qualified accountant not known to be fanciful. So how would you explain all this? I've also had experiences of my soul being hijacked during sleep as I felt it coming back into my body on waking. This happened on numerous occasions but I had passed them off as dreams. The last time was to pass on a sinister message to me. But I asked loudly not to do it again as I gave not given consent. So these experiences show me that there is alot we do not understand as its not in scriptures or the scriptures are vague.
  7. The stone idol is not lifeless as technology exists that can pass through it to see through walls. There was also an incident a few years ago where milk was coming out of Hindu idols the world over. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/magazine-38301718 There are other videos on this too if you want to look at them. My cousin in the UK also witnessed this in Leicester. She was dumbfounded.
  8. Sure. But I recently came across a video with BoS ...... Mod note : DELETED.
  9. I follow spirituality. Luckily my religion asks me to use my discretion mind and experiences to develop spirituality. It does not require me to follow a rigid set of rules unless I accept them and make them mine. I am interested in your comment about experimenting not being allowed. Can you refer me to scriptures on that? Thanks.
  10. Sure I know Sikhs are welcoming. But I would say Hindus are more so. We have Sikhs in our family. Others family members follow Radha Soamis who dress like Sikhs. Being from Punjab I feel we should try to understand each other more especially as I see alot of anti Hindu comments on here regularly. Perhaps that is political. I'm trying to get to the bottom of it as I don't believe it is constructive. I was stopped from going to the Punjab for many years as I couldn't get a visa to enter my own city/ state due to terrorist activities. I'm trying to understand more about Sikhism as I was brought up to believe it was the same as Hinduism hence in there being no problem in marriages from our side. Now reading your scriptures I can see there is hardly any difference. But practices seem to have avered from what was originally intended and meant.
  11. But the gurus are proven to have undertaken pilgrimages to Ayodhya, Ganga, worship of Durga, Ram, Hari. Most people need something to focus their mind on meditation. It also helps to retain followers. Once you attain enlightenment your soul is free of all entanglements. So you will remain non attached.
  12. I've provided a link that includes evidence of belief in idol worship. Can you counter it?
  13. I've used homeopathic Aconite for anxiety which is very good. You can get it from Holland and Barratt. Otherwise try doing deep breathing exercises to slow down your breathing and inhale more oxygen. Start with 1 minute if you can't do more.
  14. https://qr.ae/pGNmjM Here is something that suggests otherwise.
  15. Religion is there to help us in our spiritual development. We are not supposed to blindly follow it, otherwise how would Sikhism exist in the first place. Arya Samajis are told not to do idol worship and if I had not done it I would not have learned its positive benefits. Luckily my father always said we should experiment and experience ourselves as Gandhi advised. He ate a piece of steak in front of me to say he can eat it but he doesn't want to eat it. My mother would not even eat beef flavoured crisps though they do not have beef in them. My father was an occasional drinker but one day said he will not drink anymore and never did after that day to the day he died more than 20 years later. So if someone is suffering badly they should be able to use their discretion to find a solution to their problems. With your comments they are currently being left to rot. I do not believe Sikhism was ever meant to force people into such a mindset.
  16. It is different if you believe in them and do mantras in their honour. Having them on flags and on swords is a good omen not just decorative art.
  17. When I was very small I became so ill my mother feared I wouldn't survive. After exhausting options with doctors and hospitals she was told of a spiritual healer. This woman told her to go round a particular tree so many times after which I got better. This is the power of energy that we are only just beginning to understand. It is said that the peepul tree emits oxygen throughout the day so is used to induce healing.
  18. But I think it'll get a bit complicated if someone wants a divorce or they both want a divorce!
  19. In India there is a temple in Kerala called Sabiramala where the diety Lord Ayyappa resides. Every year there is a 41 day pilgrimage when only men are mostly allowed. This involves a rigorous schedule of fasting praying etc. No alcohol sex or drugs are allowed. Many have reported being cured from their addictions having gone through this ritual. Perhaps a similar festival could be considered to alleviate the drink/drug problems within the community.
  20. Rituals are anything but mindless, but in fact help us focus and concentrate on our mission to connect with the divine. When I became very ill it was Maa Durga that saved me, as I had been praising her at the temple. Whether I would have been saved otherwise is another matter entirely but I took refuge at the temple to counter alot of negative energy that was coming my way. The positive energy and atmosphere at the temple also helped in countering negativity. Scientifically it is proven that energy impacts us hence the reason we are taught to be positive. Religious rituals are there to help aid this in all aspects. In fact I would go as far as to say that lack of rituals are responsible in many going astray ie alcohol, drugs etc. As we have many festivals/religious rituals these also help communities support each other and keep the positive vibes going. Once these stop people become atheistic and hence more materialist.
  21. It doesn't stop anyone from learning Farsi if they want to understand their scriptures properly.
  22. I've just watched this. Sadhguru is saying they are stopping people from getting Enlightenment so that people can fulfil their destiny. I thought that was the purpose of life. Does anyone have any comments on this? https://youtu.be/43Vt2dHdkCg
  23. If you're not interested in reading it then donate it to a church or charity.
  24. Most of them are politically motivated. So we should try to understand the agenda here.
