isnt taliban enforcing sharia which is is the islamic law so i'm not sure why so many muslims are calling them evil. Arent they doing everything according to sharia? When they say but taliban kills fellow muslims but arent they killing the muslims who oppose their rule and imposition of sharia which according to islam is right since they are killing people who are going against the law of allah? Im so confused.

i dont know if im wrong in saying this but i can be 100% sure that in a land run by the rules of the khalsa, people of every religion can live freely(run by sikh principles not the toxic punjabi culture). Like being a sikh not once in my mind have i thought to go to some tribal areas and try to force them to become sikhs but these christains and muslims always have hatred for people who dont follow their ways and try to change them. How many sikhs do we see forcing people to change their way of life? But look at these so called christians and how they decimated the indegenious people of the world. Now people will say they are not real christians but well how many people who claim to be sikh have done so much evil to another group because their beliefs were different? We fought back against our evil enemies. These people did this in the name of their religion but anytime some punjabi person does something bad it is always because they go against sikhi and not in the name of sikhi.

I honestly know nothing about jews and judaism other than israel and holocaust. Tbh i am iffy about all abrahamic relgions they all have supremacist ideologies about subjugating non believers and this is why our world is a shitty place because it is ruled by people following these ideologies. Like even jews have this concept of being the chosen ones and looking down on non jews so i dont understand how the world can be a fair place under people who follow these idelologies where they think they are better than other because god said so . But i havent heard of them commiting violence against non adherents like christians and muslims so i thought they are better of the 3.

even if they are fake jews everything they are doing is in favour of judaism so i dont understand how is it a loss for the actual jews lol. So if the arabic ones are the actual jews they can still live in israel and practice their religion without the threats of islam and Christianity.

First and foremost thing is to marry other sikhs and have more kids and a high population. Also we need to stop immigration from punjab. I mean yeah i also came to a western country but im gonna go back there in a few years and my children will be studying there and learning about their religion for a few years. Jews do the same thing. They go back to israel no matter which country they are born in and live there and study their religion. People who say to not have attachments to land or places dont understand that every religion that exists in this world has their stronghold aka vatican, mecca now jews have the israel land and the al aqsa mosque which belonged to jews before muslims. Without punjab we have nothing. We have to have a sikh stronghold somewhere in this world. Without punjab we are gone and will be in exile just like jews but without the added benefits of their cleverness . I mean our people are not even half as intelligent as jews just by looking at their behaviour. Why should hindus get punjab when they lost it to the turks and we fought back for it? Hindus only got the benefit of having a huge population and got india and not due to their strength. Thousands of our shaheeds have spilled their blood on the soil of punjab sorry i cant let hindus take it.

People who compare punjab's independence to Kashmir's independence are delusional. Honestly you cannot pay me any amount of money to live in a muslim majority area.

Sometimes i dream that we have a country of our own where we can freely practice our religion, see our children grow and become good sikhs and we have peace and prosperity and can make decisions that help our community but its just a dream . Maybe someday in the future our future generations will have a homeland of their own. Honestly i was laughing with my mom yesterday about this that we used to be iffy about muslims and get told stories about bad stuff they did to our ancestors so will our future generations tell the same stories about hindus trying to do the same things to us lol or will they be brainwashed into accepting that we are part of them since they are trying this in full force now and some dumb sikhs parrot the same points all the time about how we are hindus because our ancestors were hindus.

I feel the same way as you. I just get so angry everytime im on twitter and i come across some dil saaf types who are promoting bad things that are against sikhi and acting as if they know more than our gurus . I just pray waheguru puts some brain into all the stupid people in our panth. We dont have unity like jews. Our people will not think about the future of our panth whenever they make any decision for example marrying outside of religion. They dont understand how every single decision that each one of us sikhs make will contribute to our future. They dont understand that being a minority everyone wants to assimilate us. They say oh marry who you love, let people do what they want but they dont understand how each of these bad decisions contributes to the future of our community. One person marrying out = ending of an entire future generation of sikhs. They dont understand that the world is not a good place and doesnt have good interests for sikhs. We have to be tight nit and make decisions that will benefit sikhi's future but they only want to do what their heart says and what they have been brainwashed by the media to do.

Do you guys believe that some people actually die and then come back to life because it wasn't their time yet? My mom told me that her grandfather who was a very religious man had died . The body was wrapped in a cloth and was in their home the entire night as it was supposed to be cremated early morning. When it was morning and the body was supposed to be taken for cremation, he suddenly woke up and all the people who were sitting near his body( like friends and neighbors) got so shocked and ran away on seeing him awake. My mom's grandfather said that some singhs with white beards had come to take him somewhere and on the way they even gave him parshaad. But when they reached there they were informed that it was the wrong person and that it was the death time of another man with the same name as my moms grandfather and that they brought him back as it wasn't his time yet. Do you guys believe this could be true? I have heard people saying that when you are a deeply religious sikh who has done good in life that shaheed singhs come to take your soul when its the time of your death which is similar to my mom's grandfather's story. But then i've heard some Christians who had NDEs say they saw god and he looked like a white man with blonde hair and blue eyes lol. So what is true? Even if these people are dreaming then how come the dream is always related to death? How come they never have dreams related to other scenarios?

The world is a shitty place because of people like these who will sell their souls for maya. Our gurus were right when they talked about conquering your mind to escape the grasps of maya.

Yup we have too many snakes in our panth. These people look evil just by looking at them. Idk if its being judgemental but i feel like every person has an aura around them that lets our instincts know whether they are good or bad.

I mean we also had to kick punjabi muslims out from east punjab as we knew we cannot live next to them. Maybe the buddhists fear the same?

My parents barely know anything about these Catholics and their religion or their history of subjugation of indigenous people around the world. They only sent me there because it was the nearest school to my home and it had better reputation than other nearby schools. You know the typical brown parent mentality to send your children to the school with the best reputation and ranking. Each school has a church next to it where they have mass and other stuff happen. So after each mass ends they give some holy water to students to drink. Only christian students mostly would line up and drink it from the principal but this one time when the mass was over and we were going out back to classrooms through the school field this teacher came up and started walking next to me and asked me if i was catholic or christian or if i drank the holy water lol . I said no Im not christian so i will not drink the water as its not allowed in my religion. Lol he was kinda taken aback because i straight up said firmly no i will not drink the water. Then he asked me what religion i was and i said i was a sikh and then he said "sick"? i was like yeah and then he just kept walking with a confused look on his face lol. I think he was taken aback by my answer because I was in a catholic school and straight up saying no i will not follow your religious rules because alot of these whites assume that most POC's think that whatever white people believe and do is right so they expect us all to believe that their religion christianity is right but when you straight up say to their face with firm belief they get surprised. Kinda weird that there are so many Sikhs in Canada and he still didn't know. And this was in Ontario near Toronto with a large population of Sikhs. Most of the teachers were kinda weird like their politeness seemed forced instead of being genuine and all. The school has a very bad vibe. So glad I'm out. This was like 4-5 years back and even with a sikh defence minister he didnt know who we are. I think its because we dont have a country of our own? So we dont have much reach?Also we are a pretty new dharam. I only recently found out about the druze people of the middle east who also do not have a country of their own. Not having a country of our own seems to be a big factor as to why we have had limited reach.

We need to come up with an idea of building more religious sikh schools in Punjab as a way to teach our children about their history just like how we have these catholic school system in Canada. I did go to a catholic school and although they barely taught anything useful or convincing about Christianity(I mean anyone would be put off the religion by the rudeness of half of the people there) but we can follow a similar model in punjab where sikh parents can send their children to such schools so that they dont get brainwashed by these secular schools which tell them they shouldn't care about their religion and fellow Sikhs. What do you all think.? That is why muslims are more successful because they put it into the minds of their children from a very young age to give importance to their religion.

Also they have been around for way longer time than us. I dont think its right for us to compare our numbers to hindus, muslims, christians and buddhists since we are a relatively newer dharam. Also what about the sikhs in places like MP who are considered hindus in census? Somebody told me they put some of these lesser known sikh communites like sikhligars as hindus on the census. Is that true?

But i like buddhists better than every other religion in the world. They are not annoying and malicious like christians, muslims and hindus.

One thing is that sikhi is a difficult religion to follow compared to buddhism. Half of these so called Westerners who claim to be spiritually enlightened and followers of Buddhism only share some random <banned word filter activated> quotes of buddha and claim to be Buddhist without following any rituals or making a change in their lifestyle. I knew this brazillian girl in my catholic high school who hated Christianity and claimed to like eastern religions but the only thing she followed was putting the Hindu om sign in her insta bio lol. So they think just by tattooing themselves with a symbol from the east means they are followers of the religion.

I was born in India and had to learn to read and write English, Punjabi, Hindi . I mean if there are good classes teaching punjabi i dont see how it is difficult for people born in West to learn 2 langauges. I mean the jews preserved hebrew since so long and our people cant preserve punjabi even after one generation? How strange? Or maybe some groups are more intellectual and creative than others . Ours are just weak willed people who constantly make excuses except a few. I was interested in rumi's poetry and started learning persian and these people cant even read the language of their religion. This just seems like a lack of interest.

What i meant is that through the lens of spirituality what they do is completely wrong and evil but it helps their followers through tough times and in the end they win because people who base their entire action through the lens of morality dont realize that to fight off evil you have to play along with their games. For example sikhs are too kind to everyone because some dil saaf sikh spread that we have to be kind to our enemies too which is exactly why we are in this state. We are literally too kind to our enemies because we think through the lens of our morality instead of playing along the games of people who want us finished. For exampe in that case of kashmiri sikh girl, the liberal sikhs were saying oh she fell in love with him who are we to say anything but us people who are not into this woke stuff know that how the enemy tries to attack us through the wombs of our women. If you know about the story of kafiristan and how the people were killed and forced converted to islam through the wombs of their own women then we realise that we are not going to win this fight through the lens of morality but by being prepared against the games of the enemy and it doesnt matter whether our actions are immoral against the evil enemy because in the end it will only bring goodness into the world.

This is what I have been saying. We need to get more people in areas around and in punjab into sikhi instead of constantly badmouthing india and indians and getting our people killed in unplanned physical fight against the state. If you dont have the numbers yet then we have to be chalaak like christians and muslims and try to gain numbers first through conversion and births. I mean the catholic church is corrupt as hell but they are still hellbound on getting people into their religion because they know high numbers = more support. Our people need to learn from these people. We dont need higher numbers to do evil things like these other religions do but more geniune sikhs= more prosperity for the areas we are in.

Absolutely even after so many terrorist attacks they manage to get more converts than us whereas our people keep spending sangats money on any random person other than Sikhs themselves and we still cant convince people. They think we are just free food religion. You are not going to get people to accept your religion by being too nice and dancing bhangra which is quite evident from people converting to islam. Our people need to write books, come up with ways to be relatable to non sikhs. I mean we still fight over the translations of sggs into english how are we going to convince others. There is too much open interpretation because of lack of research. And then it seems like our male counterparts are totally lacking in any will to take the stand about how we should go on about our future. I mean i always see muslim men giving dawah about their religion. They seem to perform their duties as males but our lot are just busy in bhangra alcohol parties. No damn about our homeland or thinking about the future of the people in our homeland. Its just upsetting seeing men from other religions performing their traditional duties as males. Not saying women arent responsible but i guess its always been men working this stuff out since the past times.

I think instead of down voting or getting angry because you disagree it would be better if you put forth your arguments.

So someone was telling me that the quran tells muslims when they are in minority to not wage physical war until your population is high enough to have a big chance of winning. So when you are in the minority dont wage a physical war but try to increase your population through high birth rates until the population becomes high enough to take over the host in an actual war. Now sikhs will come and say oh but this not the right moral thing to do and we should care about quality not quantity but when your existence is constantly threatened by two big religions that you are surrounded by and you dont even have enough numbers to sustain a majority in your own land in the future how is this immoral as a strategy to prepare yourself for the inevitable in the future? If only our population was high enough through births we wouldn't be in this state. No one gives a damn about us because we are politically irrelevant due to our low numbers and this is very threatening to our future generations. I see some sikhs constantly talking bad about india and then our brothers back home end up in jail and thus our population keeps getting lowered. They dont understand we dont have the power yet to physically fight against these external aggressor yet. We are surrounded by aggressors from all sides. Not all wars have to be fought in the physical sense. I wish our people had even 1/10th of the cleverness muslims or christians have.
