Does anyone or sect follow the dasam granth word for word? Because we are taught only to follow SGGS ji only, but are there people who bow down to dasama granth? Such as nihungs? Do they bow down and swear by it?

If this discussion is about Sikh girls and conversions then no point preaching to the converted (ie Religious Sikh girls) who do not even imagine converting to the barbaric oppressive and backwardness of Islam or going out with a muslim dude. It is the so called punjabi "modern" girl who is Sikh in name only. Usually drinking,smoking, clubbing and has many boyfriends in college and uni that the message needs to be drilled into their tiny brains. The religious Sikh girls are more wise and clued up than even religious muslim girls about their faith. If you guys wonna do something then spread the message of the beauty of Sikh scriptures/way of life instead of bashing them with insults,etc. Why not target muslim girls also? Interesting topic. Evolution is a fact! It's happening right between our eyes... I had this discussion with a muslim and he goes Sikhism doesnt give a start point to life while Islam and other abrahamic faiths state how God created the world in 6 or so days. I brought up the evolution theory which he rejected saying why cant we see things evolve in our lifetime I then gave him the example of viruses and how they mutate within a very short period of time (1-10 weeks) to overcome defences the body might put up. The abrahmic faiths reject the evolution theory and side with the creationist theory which is that God created the world in 6-7 days making the earth 6000 years old or so. Yes I know, and your right BUT everyone has their own paths towards Sikhi. Some just have the apperance of Sikhs but their hearts and mind are anything but. I used to not care about being religious, just had loyality to it, being from Punjabi Sikh background. After all the clubbing, drinking and mucking around, living the typical westernised lifestyle I became disillusioned. I realised there was more to life than this life and the false pleasures it offers. So now im slowly learning about Sikhi and taking it step by step wanting to become a gurmukh. As for Seperate State for Sikhs, well thats a political stance I have. A person does not have to be overtly religious to support the right of self-determination based on reasonable, logical and rational arguments.

End of day the so called Sikhs on here who claim they converted to Islam, its too funny. Just reading their posts you can tell they are muslims using the familar tactics of telling lies just to give the perception that he/she converted. Many of them alleged to have converted dont even know the basic tenets of the faith and history. They are easily caught out when they tell lies, because the truth would undermine Islam lol. From every religious argument Sikhism beats Islam hands down, the muslims cant take this so resort to telling lies or use violence, blackmail, seduction to buy the soul for you to convert into Islam. History of the Sikhs is testimont to these methods and yet influence of Sikhism and number of Sikhs is increasing. There are more Sikhs now from many backgrounds than ever before. The beauty of Sikhism is that it is pro-freedom and makes spiritual sense, no trinity of God or idol worshipping. Sikhism allows for one to apostate if they do not feel it is for them, but in Islam the emotional, religious and physical blackmail for one to apostate is over bearing. Shariah says those who leave islam should be given the death penalty. Women are religiously sanctioned to be treated like property, children or baby making machines. Any wonder why so many are shackled by this islamic ideology and unable to escape from it.

I would like to give the similar counter arguement that they idol worship the kaaba and the black stone. Prostrating towards the kaaba (house of allah) is an act of worshipping it. At one time the kaaba held 360 pagan arabic idol gods. It is said Muhammad destoryed 359 and left one of them, the moon god idol (al-lah) the god of his quarshi tribe. So it makes sense when they refer to kaaba as house of allah because thats where the alleged moon god idol is kept.

They claim quran is word of God. If that is true then why is it that after many years of the death of muhammad the quran was finally complied after being written on leaves, bones, sticks and what not. I spoke to many muslims who were ignorant to these facts and when they realise this they say "yeah well quran was memorised word for word from memory" yeah and we all know how realiable word for word is. Maybe they never heard of chinese whispers and what happens when words are passed on. The end message being totally different from what the message was at the start. So these muslims can gloat all they want and laugh at christians and amount of times bible has been modified but the truth is their quran is hardly the "word of God" but most probabaly the words of muhammad and his close followers adding their own spin to arab knowledge of the time.

I had the same problem a few months ago, i found out that it was the crappy extension line I had brought that wasnt sending the signal to the modem from the telephone socket cos ppl kept stepping on the line and that caused the stream flow of data to stop therefore gettin disconnected. Solution was to get a tougher more expensive and realible extension line. Now I hardly get disconnected, but if your connection is switchin off every 10mins exactly it could be you have a virus or some programs that do that to your computer. Virus check your computer first then spyware check before you take any other steps. :TH:
