Lol I'm sure mistersingh won't mind if its just about facewash ect or will he? I wonder.. That is interesting on not using and facwash, that is like going back to nature and only using what our ancestors used apart from some cream. I have actually tried doing that but not worked for me. My face tends to need a daily scrub. As seems to get dry and flaky without washing it with some kind of soap or other. I use clean and clear exfoliating wash. It's a harsh one but with going to gym and other outdoor sports. I find it gives a good clean.

I think it's an uncertain time to a degree. Even politicians don't know how it will fully affect Britain after Brexit. I hope that we will now have more control of our country. We don't want out of control immigration like we currently have. Obviously when apne came over. We worked hard in factories and earned a living. Not like many of today's immigrants who just want to live off benefits and run the country dry. Hopefully we will have more control over our fishing waters. Less EU bureaucracy and red tape stifling our growth and prosperity. A more fair and just society. Locking up criminals for as long as we like without having EU regulations such as silly human rights getting in the way. A return to real Britain. Not being run and controlled by pot bellied bureaucrats from Brussels. Look at the mess Germany made. Letting in 1 million asylum seekers in.

Also I think yogi bhajan had a a tactic to include yoga in his teaching. He knew that yoga is something that is going to be a big hit in the west. So he thought why not somehow include yoga and intertwine it in his teachings of Sikhi to attract westerners. He was a man with a plan and got results. Anyone find the media coverage hugely biased towards certain black people? I have always wondered why the mainstream white media of the USA and Britain. Gives great exposure to black sports athletes, black musicians ect, but lacks the same for brown athletes and any other races. It's almost likes black people are held on some kind of pedestal. Many white and media types love to heap praise on black people in the media. Is it down to some kind of love affair with their African brothers? I personally feel it is more to do with their religion. Many blacks particulalry in the USA are loved by whites for one reason only. Their faith. If Kobe Bryant was not a staunch Catholic who did not attend church. Would he get the same kind of praise from the white dominated Christian media? Would he be backed even though there was some controversy over his past with the law. Blacks are generally accepted more then other races. Here in the UK and USA due to their faith. If they were not Christian and did not have English names. I wonder if the media would be so kind and full of praise for black media types of they were not of that faith. I recall the boxer Anthony Joshua comming other much criticism and condemnation when he visited a mosque. The white British loved him. Untill they found out he may be into Islam. Fact is British Asians and other ethnic groups will never be accepted more then blacks due to their faith being non Christian.

Dharmic faiths such as Sikhism, Hinduism and Buddhism are gaining imence popularity in the west. It is something that Islam hates to see. So many white people follow dharmic practices. I only asked a question to have more knowledge on the Gurus. It is only to learn more. No offence was meant. I don't have any hidden motives or anything like this.

Were the Gurus above normal human beings? Ie if they were they would not succumb to illness like normal humans do. It has been stated that certain Gurus performed miracles and cured diseases. But why could Guru Har Krishan not cure his own small pox from which passed away from? If Gurus could perform acts of miracles then why did they did not do this to themselves when they were unwell.

Well that is good to know 1Anonymous1. At least your actually do stuff that will make a big difference to peoples lifes by voulunteering ect. That is the way to be and have the right balance of meditation, prayer and physical acts of seva. I have unfortunatley come across some who spend all their time praying without actually doing anything good in terms of physical seva and charity. Praying can benefit one but charirty will help 100's. As for certain scummy people on here who have nothing better to do instead of butting into other peoples conversations and jumping to conclusions. Proper low lifes...nuff said.

What about just believing in God and doing good deeds? Why the need to do all these extra prayers. Surely that time would be more beneficial if you were helping the needy. Instead of spending all that time praying? Which is not really helping anyone.
