Some Sikh "leaders" will get their palms greased to quiet things down, UK government will divert the issue, and just wait it out until the heat dies off. I was reading about stories of Shaheed Singhs and in 1982 a Singh named Manjit Singh planned to land a plane full of hijacked Hindus in Libya (but didn't have enough fuel) which makes me wonder if Muammar Gaddafi was sympathetic to the Sikh movment. Sometimes I ponder the question of "what if?" What if the British imperialist never set foot on our land. What would the implications be today. I know in my family our ancestral land was left behind near Lahore and my grandfather struggled after partition.
