  1. A little kid asks his Dad, "Daddy, how much does it cost to get married?" "No idea," replied the Father, "I'm still paying for it..."
  2. Ok, i dnt want to sound rude...but here goes... A British man who was kidnapped in India was found by police today. He had suffered some of the worst beatings they had ever seen. He was asked why he was beaten so much and so bad. He said "They wanted to know my name, so i told them. Then they just started to beat me. The more i said my name, the harder they beat me. I dont understand. I told them the truth. I told them that my name is "TERRY MARDY" "

  4. Fateh Ji I know many believe that langar should be simple however so many people have come to Hazoor Sahib and have had different types of foods that they may not have been able to afford or come across. They are celebrating their Guru Ji's Guru Gaddi Divas, and this is not something that comes every year. At the end of the day wether the food be simple or complicated the Sangats dil (heart), Man and rooh (soul) is kush and this matters. People are doing seva as they are happy and they want to share this with every Sikh and non-sikh, there is nothing more brilliant than that!! The sangat attending are happy and fortunate; may Guru Ji make their Janam Safla since they have had the chance to eat such langar!! I wish only Vaheguru had been able to give me such a mohkka (chance)! Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Bhul Chuk Maaf!! Fateh Ji

  10. Fateh Ji, I think coconut oil is the best to use in your hair since when you apply it to your scalp it helps to rehydrate a dry and itchy scalp. The best thing to do is: hot the oil (this can even be heated by just simply placing the bottle on your gas heater or even the thavaa!! doesnt take too long to melt!) and then massage it to your scalp (preferably by your mum, yay!!). Then leave it for about 30mins or longa even and wash it out using standard shampoo. It is also said that you shouldnt you shampoo and conditioners in 1 since they are not good for your hair!! but newayz coconut oil does leave your hair feelin soft and scalp much more hydrated and dandruff free!! but rememba coconut oil does sumtimes have a tendency to turn white once it cools down, best to wash it as soon as you can!!itll save you alot of hassle!! :D Fateh Ji

Only the Name of the Lord will go along with you" Fifth Mehla "No one is anyone's companion; why take any pride in others?" Fifth Mehla "Friendship with the self-willed manmukhs is an alliance with Maya" Fifth Mehla "The mortal is of one mind - whatever he dedicates it to, in that he is successful" Fourth Mehla "The Lord is hear at hand - do not think that He is far away. You Yourself instill faith into us" Fifth Mehla "The false shall leave you, even while you are still alive; but the Saints shall not forsake you, even when you are dead" 5 Mehla

  18. Fateh Ji!! She sits alone..... She sat amongst her friends; not saying a word. For what she’d say, would go unheard. Longing to be surrounded by the peace that she’d found. To be welcomed by the music, that had kept her spellbound. The sunlight fell upon the mighty dome. She at last in this world, had found a true home. She’d seen a palace that’d taken her breath away. Never in her life had she’s seen a magnificent display! Royal children wore crowns upon their heads. The display of colours, what can be said?! Upon their wrists, a Kara flashed bright, Gentle and warm, like the morning light. Their eyes shone with the sacred fire, The true love for their Guru, is all they desire. They bow their heads to their almighty Lord, All united by the Panj Kakaar; each one grandly adorned. The supreme Lord sits upon His throne, His ‘roop’ is enchanting and His greatness is unknown. What word alone can describe such a glorious sight? Describe all the creations, sun moon, day and night? She closes her eyes and says a prayer to Her Lord, May she gain sanctuary in His ‘charan’ and too be adored. Once the colour of His love, is coloured on her soul, Never alone would she feel, as she’d become whole. Bhul Chuk Maaf, Fateh Ji!!
  19. Fateh Ji Penji, that was brill!! :TH: Thanx for posting!! May Guru Ji bless us with such pyaar and shardaa that we may never discriminate against another, just because of their caste, skin colour etc! Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji! Rab Rakha!! Bhul Chuk Maaf! Fateh Ji!
  20. Fateh Ji!! Anon!! That woz soooooooooooo funny!! OMG!! U make laugh man!! Now thats what i would call embarrassing!!! You poor thing, always check who your thumping next time!! Funny stuff!! :TH: Fateh Ji!!
  21. Fateh Ji!! Thats very touching!! Vaheguru ji rakha!!
  22. Fateh Ji!! HaHaHaHaaaaaaaaaa!! I got 2 admit, this threads been 1 of the best!! I was sitting in University, reading this and boy did i laugh (had tears in ma eyes2!!) Plus i lookd like a weirdo just sitting there laughing away on ma own!! Its just as bad people think im crazy (as in hyper etc not mentally, lol!) :umm: Well, i showed this thread to ma bro and we woz laughing away and he reminded me of this one time at the gurudwara!! (by the way its not my embarrassing moment, its ma bro's!! hehe! ) Well newayz, I had just finished doing kirtan and ma bro woz playing tabla and the uncle ji who woz gna do kirtan next, askd ma bro 2 play tabla 2 one shabad. so ma bro agreed but ma poor bro ended up playing tabla for like 4 hours!! lol!! so bachara's getting really tired and on top of that uncle ji's not one of the most talented kirtani's, since he woz out of beat, singing so high his voice was breaking, kept going too fast or too slow! Ma bro just kept looking over and trying not to laugh; I didnt help because i kept laughing whenever i caught ma bro's eye!! lol!!! To make things worse, Uncle ji kept saying 'Vahh!! Vaahh!! Shaabaash!! Vaaaaahh!!!!' in the microphone! (You know, the typical, 'Oh you play such good tabla' impressions as well as the hand actions!!) :TH: which made us laugh just as much!! Uncle ji finally finished doing kirtan and my bro gets up to leave the stage, but ends up falling back down, cuz bachara's legs are so numb!! lol!! He practically had to sit through most of the ardaas or lean against a wall!! lol!! The same uncle asked ma bro to play tabla again the week after and my bro 'kindly' refused!! lol!!! :e: Moral of the story: Whenever any uncle ji asks you to play tabla for half and hour, be prepared for long hours of tabla playing!! lol!! Btw Gabrooo i feel 4 you man!! its bad enough we get that effect off certain punjabi foods, chinese food is just a killer!! Plus its punjabi style 2go 2 the toilet in the chadiya, so dont worry!! lol!! You nature lover!! lol Fateh Ji!!
  23. Fateh Ji, Thank you all for your replies. There is truth in what Sarbloh had said, as a simple reply to Fateh etc can make someone's day or break their heart. You can never know what is on the person's mind, as your simple Fateh could bring comfort to them etc. Papi, i too have heard certain judgmental comments made just based upon anothers image, even dastaar's! It really is suprising that certain people continue to discriminate others due to their personal choices and opinions. It is an individuals choice as to how they tie their dastaar, but yet people would state that because their dastaars are big and tied higher, they are be chardikala! So being chardikala means that you wear a bana, tie a big dastaar, wear a big kirpan that is showing? All these things are based upon image. I know Gursikhs wear a Baana, kirpan etc but it is about the purity of their mind. The purity of their heart that determines if their chardikala, and who are we to see or recognise that? It is true, who are we to judge and point the finger to anyone else when we ourselves are tainted with jealousy, greed, lies etc. I can only do ardaas to Vaheguru, that we shall not say or think such things as they push us further away from Him. Only He is true in this false world, as He will always be there when others will turn their backs. May He forgive us for our mistakes and grant us the knowledge to perfect our faults. Bhul Chuk Maaf. Vaheguru Rakha, Baksh Lehna. Fateh Ji!
