Our purpose is to support and empower the protestors with the facts so together we can make a greater impact by communicating a consistent message to the greater public. We believe that everyone has the right to express their opinion and make positive efforts for the advancement of the Sikh Nation. In further

  10. To be fair Gurmukho, the problem is that this "gupt seva" thats apparently happening, is on too much a small scale, and on an individual level to be effective. Regarding the Taksaal and AKJ yes there may be individual Gursikhs doing sevam, but these jathebandis as Jathebandis need to address the huge issues in Punjab until it is too late, never in Sikh history, more recently or from the start have issues like this been deal with by a handful of singhs, but instead the Sikh leaders rallied the sangat. My question is why have the Nishkam Seva Jatha departed from openly condemning the human rig
  11. Fateh ji, Not necessarily Khalistan (but implied support is more than evident through the literature I referenced to) but all the Sikh grievances such as water, greater autonomy, discrimination etc are detailed, and correct me if I am wrong but I have not of recent years heard the Jatha dealing with these pertinent issues. I thought that they just were never active and were anti-movement, simply as I had not ever heard anything re this period of Sikh history. Then I came across this mag which made me more confused and curious at the U turn. After putting this post up a knowledgeable Gursikh
  12. Just came across a magazine called "Bloody 84" which advocated the cause of a Sikh homeland. It was first published in 1984 and then republished, both publications were paid for by the Guru Nanak Niskham Seva Jatha (UK). It contains images of Sikh Freedom Fighters. Interesting as this magazine sets out the case for a Sikh homeland, and outlines discrimination against Sikhs and Constitutional issues which form the basis of the Sikh protest, now as all these issues are still valid and relevant I wonder what Singhs from the Jatha think, someone is clearly wrong either the previous leadership or
  13. Extracts from interview with Bibi Bimal Kaur, Shaheed Beant Singh’s wife (published in Vangaar 1993): Did you know that Bhai Beant Singh was going to assassinate Indira Gandhi? No. He did not divulge this information with me. However looking back in hindsight, all the pieces of the jigsaw fit together. After the attack in June 84, as all Sikh at that time, we were all hurt, shocked and confused by the actions of the government. Sardar ji took leave from work and we visited Sri Harmandir Sahib. The extent of the devastation, the number of innocent Sikhs killed and atrocities committed w
  14. common propaganda which has been force fed to the masses since 84, our people were either ignorant or too shy to challenge these unfounded allegations, yes few maybe even 150 -200 hindus were killed by various groups (black cats, sikhs, etc) but that was over the 25 years nothing near what is alleged i.e thousands Good to see Sikh youth today opposing false allegations
  15. You need to be more careful with your words Singh, I know 50 Khalistanis off the top of my head and none are against core Sikh values
  16. Khalsa Aid has repeated that on TV too, but sadly noone has come forward, they have had meetings and talked to Senior Singhs in both Jathebandiyan but nothing has materialised.
  17. I disagree we must remember and have regard for The Sahibzades Shaheedian but for me it's an incident which fills me with great pride. There are so many Mahaan Shaheeds that everyday in the year is most likely to be blessed with a Shaheedi, shall we remain somber all year or should we remain in Chardi Kala

  19. I don't agree with the defence that he is not representing sikhi but is just a Sikh rapper. one adopts the image of a Sikh voluntarily, and great responsibilities come with it. Everyone knows that. If you listen to his songs, without the video, it is quite plain to see that he is a very average MC, and the only reason he has got popular is off the back of the Punjabi Sikhs, it's a gimmick that he has tried to cash in on. Also as he has a long flowing beard, and a round Dastaar his actions and speech carries even more responsibility then for example RDB. Sehajdari Sikhs will look at humble,
  20. What type of parchaar do you expect if you exploit the granthi? those that are criticising would you quit your £20k+ job to do the granthis job? didnt think so Personally I think we should have fully qualified parcharaks who are both trained in terms of Santhiya etc and also degree level religious study and then pay them handsomely, I mean we have Naujawaans like Bhai Manvir Singh, wouldnt it be great if he could do parchaar full time 9-5
  21. I would normally agree with the majority about leaving this fool alone, as he is ignorant, and blah blah blah but actually I disagree, I dont think we should attack him, but we should out this cowardly backstabbing sell out he really is, i dont mind people with anti opinions cus its usually down to ignorance and lack of parchaar from our side, but in this scenario i have a feeling he knows very well what he is doing, and does it to achieve maximum exposure (which is annoying), furthermore he makes a living mainly thanks to the punjabi community, and they should know what he is really about.

  23. Tell your friend to explain this then (monks burning themselves to death in protest of war without moving): I was to see that sight again, but once was enough. Flames were coming from a human being; his body was slowly withering and shriveling up, his head blackening and charring. In the air was the smell of burning human flesh; human beings burn surprisingly quickly. Behind me I could hear the sobbing of the Vietnamese who were now gathering. I was too shocked to cry, too confused to take notes or ask questions, too bewildered to even think... As he burned he never moved a muscle, never utte
