  1. there no point in debating THE WARRIOR. its obvious that he doesnt kno his facts. everything that he says is purely based on his own opinions. which is fair enough, every1 has an opinion. buts its obvious his opinions on this subjact arnt based on any substantial research.
  2. So where are they now? Murdered, de-famed, jailed & tortured or live now in exile and would risk death if they were to return to India. Today there are still thousands of Sikhs held in India's prisons with no charges, no bail and no legal representation. In May 1993, while campaigning in support of a candidate during the Jalandhar by-elections, an assassination attempt was made on Mann by a gunman associated with the Congress Party. thats a fair questions u asked i guess and i tried to answer it best i can. but the point to my reply previously was that at the time of the declaration of khalistan at sarbat khalsa it had the support of nearly all the sikh people as proven by the turnout and elections in 1989. So any hukumnama that was issued regarding this at that time would have been the will of the sikh people. Whether or not the sikhs in punjab support khalistan now is another issue. the original point remains that the kharkoos at the time had the support of the sikh people.
  3. if the common people hated the kharkoo singhs why after the elections in 1989 wer all 13 seats taken by khalistanis? 10 of the 13 taken by candidates backed by simaranjit singh mann's united akali dal which was bascially formed by the all india sikh students federation. sounds like the people spoke in favour off the kharkoos to me. they formed the punjab gov for 6 months and openly talked about khalistan until presidents rule was imposed again. until 1991 when beanta was elected after a turnout of only 10 percent (most none sikhs) because the common people boycotted the elections. in the short few months that the Mann gov was formed he was denied his legal and constitutional right to enter parliament were he would have declared khalistan. half a million sikhs wer said to of attended sarbat khalsa in 1986 to declare khalistan. nearly all sikh men. think about this. there are 20 million sikhs in punjab. half are men. half of those would be children or old men maybe unable to travel. even tho the government stopped many sikh attending sarbat khalsa still half a million sikhs attended. so dont chat rubbish about the common man not being with the kharkoos at that time.
  4. i rate the singh, detaching himself from everything in order to better himself. i find sum of the so called sikhs on here funny talking about them never leaving there parents etc then they talk about bani. maybe u dont kno this but everyone gna get detached from there parents eventually. u shud try remembering the waheguru is ur true mother and father. sum of the wimps and snitches on here cud learn sumin from this singh. on a seperate note hasnt simranjit already expressed his desire for all theset topics on the net regarding him be removed? since when did sikhsangat become a place were the private life of people who have done nothing wrong gets discussed.
  5. the singhs just said he explained the situation to his parents. he a grown man so let him do what he wants.
  6. none of the dates for these mele are even during the month of vaisakhi. does seem a bit weird.
  7. Personally i think all people have the right to do what makes them happy. fact is not everyone follows the same path. but i do think its disgustingly funny how people skank there sikh faith because Ali's buff, or cus Johns loaded.
  8. The problem is all these singhs that have only been going to his class in the last few years see a different side of giddar. when his class first started he used to chat all kinds of false things. it was only when people left his class that he started with a different approach and now doesnt say as much contraversial stuff. hes learnt that in order to keep his students he cant do it. now he take a much more sly approach and drop his rubbish on the sly. ive been to his class and heard him chat all kinds of false things. sum of these idiots think people are against his parchar because he eats chatka and drinks degh. that aint the half of it. ive heard him talk about rape, prostitutes, drugs, alchohol, cutting of kes and loads of other disgusting things. as a person the geezas not right in the head. i dont kno why i bothered posting, giddars fanatical nangs will just accuse me of making stuff up.
  9. mae sure ur tying a keski under neath. make sure its tight. for that to be tight the first larr needs to be tight. then when u ties ur dumalla amke sure u do first larr tight. but wateva dastar u tie, if u tie a small keski underneath it makes it more tight and secure.
  10. Whens the dinner and dance, please provide details of when it will take place so it can be stopped.
  11. whether u do it or not it doesnt really bother me to be honest cus at the end of the day there just coconuts and sugar cane, lol but maryada or not doing chatka on a coconut or sugar cane still dont make no sense to me.
  12. bruv dont tie a bunga, ur tying it too tight theres other ways u can get he bunga affect, like tie ur guti the wrap he material around it. or is ur kesh isnt long enough tie ur bunga the same way u wrap a towel around ur head wen u wash ur hair and twist it, then use a next keski t wrap around that to getthe same bunga affect. but cut a long story short, ur tying ur bunga too tight, or ur kesh just cant cope with ur hait being pulled like that. find out what vitmins and that u can take to make ur hair more healthier and stronger, that might help too.
  13. Below is an article i just came across. seems like something similar to what i suggested in this topic maybe happening. maybe this is why badal and co have been recruiting folk singers like hans raj hans to sit as candidates to counter any popularity that these panthics leaders may have. Sant Samaj and Panthic bodies announce to contest next SGPC election against SAD (Badal) Phagwara, Punjab: More than one dozens Panthic Organizations and Sant Samaj have decided to contest next elections of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbhandhak Committee, against candidates of SAD(Badal). This decision was unanimously made in first such joint meeting held at Phagwara on Tuesday evening. Giving details of the meeting, Bhai Mohakam Singh Spokesman of Damdami Taksal and Sant Shamsher Singh Jagera President International Sant Samaj, while addressing a news conference here today. They declared to work to free the Supreme Religeous Seat Shri Akal Takhat Sahib from the clutches of Shiromani Akali Dal. Commenting upon the reopening of Anandpur Sahib Resolutions by Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal,Both Religeous Leaders asked Badal to present the Anand-Pur Sahib Resolution before Punjab Assembly in stead of going to media only to flair up the issue. They said Badal should make hard efforts to get passed a resolution in the assembly regarding Anandpur Sahib Resolution. Both Religeous Leaders urged the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to follow Canada and America for their public apologisation for Kamagatamaru and Japan episode and tender apology for Operation Blue Star held twentyfive years back. They claimed that not even a single person was convicted on the FIR registered on June 6, 1984 even after 25 years. Criticising SGPC for its undue stand on Sehajdhari Issue,Both Leaders told that the joint meeting has urged the Hon.Judiciary ie High Court not to intervene in the religious matters of Sikhs as these religious issues should be resolved by Akal Takhat only. The Joint meeting was attended by Damdami Taksal Spokesman Bhai Mohakam Singh, Sant Hari Singh (Nanaksar), Baba Ghajjan Singh (Budda Dal), Baba Jaswant Singh Ladhowal, Gurnam Singh(AISSF), and the representatives of Kalerawale, Raddrr Sahib, Harkhowal, Miri Piri Khalsa, Nirmala Panth, Udasin Panth, Mustuana Community, Sikh Council, Human Rights Organisation Sant Sipahi Dal. They all declared to launch their compaign in full swings to safeguard the sikh maryadas. http://sikhsangat.org/1469/2009/02/sant-sa...inst-sad-badal/
  14. chat to the singh, ask him wat his intentions are. tell him shes ur friend and u wanna make sure she gna be aite. let him know that ur looking out for her. it might be enough to let him know there might be consquences for messing this girl around. make him think twice before he does anything that might hurt the girl.
  15. if its was gonna be made it would have been made by now! it took around 250 yrs for guru ji to create the khalsa, it took the jews 1000 yrs before they got israel. it took hundreds of years for blacks to get equal rights in amreica and the world. no one said the struggle for sikh raj was gna be easy. but it will happen. becuse the cause is just and the grievances are real. it might not happens for years but it will happen. i have faith in maharaj that he will make it happen. I have faith in the khalsa panth because it has always created those sikhs that rise to the challenge. Khalistan is inevitable!
  16. No Sikh in india supports khalistan, i only see support outside, alot of the times its a solgan to take control of Gurdwara. 1984 is in the past its Histroy now, people need to move on. More effort should be put in to something worthwile, like Translating Gur-Bani to the youth in a langauage they understand, instead of hidieng it. ...by the way i used to be a Khalistan Supporter. well then u solded out like the rest, guess the blood of the shaheeds that gave there life for this course means nothing to you. stop listening to what jokers say in newspapers, speak to the people in the villages. they know the've been wronged and they know they have been treated badly. why u think they all wanna leave punjab and go abroad. theres more support for this cause then you think. cus essentailly the sikhs of punjab know the've been opressed. the problem is the ppl theve installed as leaders are doin a good job of supressing any kind of change. by the way sell outs like u can go to hell
  17. im not sure but i wud pressume this miri piri prog will take the place of the monthly youth kirtan darbar for this month anyway.
  18. Isn’t it a coincidence that there were all of different castes?? That why they were selected, the 1st group of Khalsa all of different caste, drink from the same bowl, show brotherhood. so why wasnt there a piara chosen from all castes?
  19. i think wat he sed was that they have a belief in karma and reincarnations just as hindu do but didnt say it was they same. he also sed quite clearly that the sikhs were showing the same respect for the shaster that wer looked over by a pic of guru ji. he didnt say anything about sikhs worshipping pictures or idols. i thought in a shorrt amount of time he done a good job. the singh that explained service to humanity is a way of showing devotion to god smashed it.
  20. But there are some Saints out their that arent corrupt and that are respected. I heard something once thats very true. There was a time when people who used to come into the sangat of sikhs who were corrupt but these people quickly became honest. Nowadays the honest people that come in quickly become corrupt.
  21. Techno Singh I actually know chatanga and what he does with limited resources, with a difficult comitee at the gurdwara he is based and on his own and its alot more then what most people do with 10 times as much resources. If someones saying the right thing why dont you just see it that way instead of trying to criticise. Maybe you have that habbit but Chatanga doesnt, but knowing him he'll still say that he'd want to do more.
  22. When i was in Punjab recently i had a discussion with a Singh about the state of the politics in Punjab. One thing he said was that most people know that the politicians are corrupt but he said that the fact is that all parties are corrupt so they try to choose the lesser of the 2 evils so to speak. Another thing that i found very interesting was when he said that if 1 Sant was to become political people would vote for that Sant because alot of the main Sants in Punjab have good reputations and are known to be honest. Why is it that Sants in Punjab are not more political? Whats stopping a group like the Sant Samaj forming there own political party? Please discuss this? Would it work? If so then why and how? If not then why?
  23. Sorry download something (sumin) from the net so u can uncompress the file. you will need to down load some kind of application to uncompress this zip file. try finding and downloading a application called Winrar http://www.winrar.pro/UK/Winrar3.80.exe
  24. Not yet, Veer Ji. I think I'm going to have to get someone who runs this version of linux to help me figure out how the hell to run .rar files. Thanks for the link, though. The online dictionary alone is actually quite useful. - K. the rar file is like a zip file. unzip it using sumin that uncompresses rar files. download sumin from the net to do this.
