  1. a granth has been compiled similar like the sau sakhis called Satguru Bilas Patshahi Barvi written by Sant Dhian Singhji. guru ram singh ji did not claim the guur ship himself which is a misinterpretation you have mentioned in your post above. According to namdhari history he was given the gururship by gurur balak singh ji with the guru tradition of placing a coconut and 5 paise. In 1841 A.D. Satguruji, along with His military friends went to Pashaur. Their journey directed them to cross through the city of Hazro where Satguruji Heard about Sri Satguru Balak Singh Ji and decided to Pay a Visit in order to receive Satguru Balak Singh Ji's Darshan. when gurur balak singh ji saw guru ram singh ji ( at this time gurur ram singh ji was not appointed guruship) Satguru Balak Singh Ji stood up and embraced Him saying that He has been waiting for Thakurji(Satguru Ram Singh Ji). Satguru Balak Singh Ji Gave Gurmantar to Satguru Ram Singh Ji as well as about 25 of His military friends that were present with Him and after Seating Satguruji on The Throne, He bowed down at Satguru Ram Singh Ji's Feet according to The GurMaryada with a coconut and 5 Paise and Transferred The Gurgaddi which He received from Sri Satguru Gobind Singh Ji to Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji. Then He explained to the Sangat that it was Satguru Gobind Singh Ji Himself who Ordered that He would be back to retreive His Amanat(Belonging) in The Form of Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji. the following information can be found at namdhari faith web. whether or not you concider guru ram singh as a guru or not he has done a lot for the sikh dharam also known as te kooka movement. it is a shame that sikhs freedom struggle have not been fully accounted and praised for in today’s India where the so called "mahtma" ghandi is gioven all credit for his work even when he was indirectly related with the British at that time and got the non coporation movement form guru ram singh ji who had first started this. one must realise that why arent sikhs fully recognised for their fredom struggle in india. is gurur ram singh ji mentioned in indian history, is akali phoola singh ji mentioned in indian history etc. same goes with the maleer kotla and amritsar shaheed singhs.

" guur ram singh prepared a funeral pyre an placed the ad grath sahib on top of it. when the fire had fully burned out he took the granth sahib out and the sikhs saw that it was in perfect condition not a scratch or burn anywhere. he then sahid that this is how powerfu te gurus bani is. just like during guru tegh bhadur jis time when the ad granth sahib ji was placed under te river it was undamaged. this was only done by the gururs kirpa if any ordinary person was to do that the same results would not have been seen.

  4. fateh i understand what u are saying however how can an individual or a group of people have the authority to decide who is allowed in the sikh panth or not. this can only be done by the guru and akal purakh waheguru himself. according to gurbani this is the definition of what asikh is :ਗੁਰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਜੋ ਸਿਖੁ ਅਖਾਏ ਸੁ ਭਲਕੇ ਉਠਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵੈ ॥ gur sathigur kaa jo sikh akhaaeae s bhalakae outh har naam dhhiaavai || One who calls himself a Sikh of the Guru the True Guru shall rise in the early morning hours and meditate on the Lord's Name. namdharis do believe in raagmala , every single pavitar ang in ad sri granth sahib ji, and dasam granth sahib ji. i can assure you that just because we do not regard ad sri granth sahib ji as having the guruship does not mean that we do not respect it. from personal observation i believe that namdharis respect ad and dasam garnth sahib ji more than many who consider it as a guru in many gurudhwaras. fate ji
  5. well obviously a namdhari would acknowledge guru ram singh as guru. were not telling anione to not believe ad granth sahib ji as guru. and whsat he stated about guru ram singh and the sant khalsa are all facts. i believe this is an excellenat approach kooke have done to spread sikhi especially through the bbc. stories of dasam pita were mention and katha like this should be encouraged at a public level. only i we have ekta ion our comunity to do stuff like this will we be sucessful in preaching sikhi to our younger generation. and yes t guru ram singh ji is par of sikhi even non namdharis acnowledge him for what was done and respectfully call him baba ram singh ji. fateh

  12. the first picture is perfectly normal. can u imagine someone going into war with shastar killing with a smile on the face being humble. not really the same essance is it. i gues its abit like shouting sat sri akaal after an ardas. you dont say it softly but with bir ras. and paintings are just an expresion of the arist. unless youve had patak darshan of guru ji its just an artists imagination.

  14. not entirely . u have to then tie the keski correctly otherwise ur dastar will still be loose. have you tried a different way of starting of rather than tying a not at the back. try covering your head with the begining of your kapra then start your dastar. have a secure lar first which just goes around the head then start your prper neat lar. your dastar can also be loose if your material is too thick. try getting used to a thin kapra its much easier to tie it tight with a thin one.

  17. your bunga is tooo tight tie it much looser. and if u are tiying ur bunga dont worry that ahhh its loose and itl open up it wonnt. and also make sure u use a reallysoft material for your bunga. i would use soft mal mal and a thin one as well.

    gore will usaly tend to give u the evils or looks when youre wearing a dastar and in sikhi roop. but these are the uneducated ones. i usaly just stare at them in th eyes while walking with a serious face if they are trying to take the piss or sometimes giving a smile or 2could change the situation youll be surprised. if they do sayrude/racist things dont swear back because bani sais "subh bachan bol gun amol" may guru ji do kira fateh

  22. when u feel like doing lustful actions just remember guru gobind singh ji and i bet you u wouldent even think about lust anymorer at that time as guru ji will be in your mind then . keep your soul drained with waheguru simran in your mind whenever u can and at home try and slowly get into th habbit of playing some kirtan the you will slowly get to like a favaourite shabad and then will want to listern to some more. try listernig to raag kirtan from my point of view it really does cleanse you. then just watch how next time you think of lust youl just laugh at it fateh
