a good way to stop doing things which are not gurmat and against gurujis hukam is to ask the question would any of our gurus e.g guru gobind singh ji be doing what you are doing ? next time you have a glass of wiskey or whateva u have think if our gurus would do this or the char sahib jade afterall if ur a gursikh guru gobind ingh ji did say that all of you are my children .

this may answer your question about people frmo dead and rehras. there is a sakhi which goes that a lady was reading rehras sahib out aloud and a guy said to her that y r u saying it out aloud read it in your mouth. after she had finished she said that when i read it out aloud ghosts and spirits come to listern to rehras. basically what this is saying is that the bani being read is so special that even ghosts and spirits come to listern to it so that tyhey can get mukhti or something along those lines. this is because the human form and body is only able to do paath and naamsimran not even angles and spirits can do this so we must make the mopst of this human body and do paath and naamsimran while we can .

what nindya have kooke done of our gurus. as far as im concerned the ad granth as wel as dasam granth sarabloh granth are all treated with high respect and maryada if u want to witness this come to sri bhani sahib and c the maryada for ur self. and burning angs of ad sri granth shaib ji !!!!!!!!!!!!! please dont make up rubbis. as i mentioned the maryada should be witnessed before making assumptions. if ur tying a dumala type of dastar n want to keep ears tucked try doing the dastar with ears out then the last few lars u have cover the ears. this might help as there wont be too mich tension on the ears with those lars. and try using a softer material like mal mal this may be easy on the ears

totaly agree with lovekhalistan we need to broadcast sikhi more by the media and in a good way not showing stupid sardars in bollywood movies who are always given the typical dumb roll. i think having general documentaries shown on tv will be nice we need to educate the world about who sikhs are. knowledge is power

I wanted to ask that ive seen many people have a khanda dumala shastar in their dastar however as well as it being used as a shastar does the khanda dumala shastar have any significance like what does it mean or represent or hows it symbolic or sometin

why cant you just take your kirpan off and put it back on when had a shower. is there any hukam which goes against this

there are many versions of this story one where gurur gobind singh ji threw the smigari into the havan and said that the kirpan is shakti. the other other is that the havan went on continuously for 2 days at naina devi mountain. and after two days of doing havan the davi came out from the havan which is durga mata or chandi same thing and gave guru gobind singh ji a khanda or kirpan not sure. the devi also gave guru gobind singh ji a churi whioc we call kara and then guru gobind singh ji made the khalsa.
