  3. Waheguru jee ka khalsa Waheguru jee ki fateh! Welcome to the forum khalsa jee! Hope you get full laahaa learning about Sikhi from the sangat, and hope to learn from you as well. Already got you on my list

  5. ahhhhhhhhhh..it happened again,,, i posted a reply for this like 5 times, and i clicked on something, and it went away! @ Why does it always happen to me?? oh well.... yep the above paragraph is soooo true, I am sure most of us, including me couldnt post a reply to something at least once, but we got to open ourselves and share ideas and thoughts, and our knowledge, and ask questions in order to learn, after all that's what sikhi is about right? :e: thats a good read singh, i think it should be made a sticky :TH:
  6. of course its wooden, but is using plastic brush to comb your hair in the mornings alrite b/coz ur hair is tangly? Is a wooden kanga only allowed to be used? Just curios..some help?
  7. I find it really good that Gursikhs are choosing names such as angad, Vaaheguru, satnaam, names that are really simple. They is no problem, and the best thing is that they have a really important and special meaning behind them, and like ms514, it should be something we can live up to, so it is always good to have a name from Gurbani.. but i have a question, been wanting to ask for a long time, why is that in most parents want their kids' names to end with a jeet, or deep, or inder, dev, etc, etc... Is there a significance for this, or it's just a something to add to the first part of the name? My name is Sumanjeet, but suman means flower, and jeet means u know what....How does flower go along with jeet? btw, i love the simple names such as nihaal, rehat, bibek, etc etc,,,I should think bout having one of these :T: bhul chuk muaaf....Waheguru jee ka khalsa Waheguru jee ki fateh!
  8. good question.... khalistani..i agree with u about not wearing something tight in the first place, it's a step towards lustful thought in most cases, loose pants are better for the kachera and comfy. But it usually depends on the bibi, how tight it is to her, maybe even depending on how big or small the kachera is  Just buy the pant size that u feel fits u comfortably bhul chuk muaaf..Waheguru jee ka khalsa Waheguru jee ki fateh!
  9. These are all great quotes!! I just love quotes! "Failure is the opportunity to begin again, more intelligently." Keep 'em up guys! :TH:
  10. Bala Singh Bhagti Singh Bhagwantjot Bhagwantroop Bhupinderpal Bishan Bishanpal Brahamdev Brahamjeet Brahamsarup Balbir Balraj balveer Balvinder Balvindra Balwant Bhupinderpal Bishanpal Bismeet Brahamjeet Balram Bir Raas?
  11. yeah, I was watching punjabi news the other day regarding this issue, and a few ladies spoke up saying it is our rehit maryada that wearing a topi is wrong, that it is not allowed. I was actually waiting for them to say a Gurbani line supporting this, since they seemed so much in chardi kala I 'd have agree with you balwinder singh, but not all the ladies were brought up being taught the importance of wearing a turban, but then again what bout the ladies who do wear turbans? They would have a bigger reason to protest, that the turbans cann't be taken off, allong with the fact that it shouldn't be replaced with a topi. just my 2 cents, bhul chuk khima... Waheguru jee ka khalsa Waheugru jee ki fateh
  12. Waheguru jee ka khalsa Waheguru jee ki fateh! Right now I am listening to Rena bhenji's simran, such beautiful voice So much sharda and pyaar, so much nimarta in her voice, really touched my soul,,,, My utmost respect to this sidhakni Gursikhni. I do not know Charanjit Singh jee and Parminder Singh jee personally, but may Waheguru bless these young souls with everlasting love. He has got even bigger and better plans for those that go and meet Him. As for Rena bhenji, I don't know what to say. Where do I start? Where do I end? This girl has brought so much love to my life and I realize this the most now then before. When I was first introduced to her on the internet on msn, I began to talk her into wearing a dastaar. Everyone did. She herself had so much chao to wear a dastaar and she repeatedly told me that yes bhenji, I will wear dastaar one day." She kept strong the whole time, never gave up. Everyday I talked to her, it was not at all like I was just talking to some ordinary girl just a hi and how are you. It was the talk between two sisters, two soul sisters. The way she encouraged me every step of the way for little small things was just incredible. "It's ok bhenji.." or "you have to do it for sikhi..." And "sweet dreams about Guru jee..'" how can i forget that? She always said this in the end, always mentioned Guru sahib in her humble talks. Even though I never met her in person, the way she talked to me on the internet was enough to let me know what a beautiful Singhni she was. But I remember telling her that I wanted to see her ssoooo badly, maybe at the may smagam, but I probably couldn't because my grades were so low and my parents would not allow me to go if I was so low in my grades. The words she said in reply to this were ever so toucing------- (Not exact, but close) "Don't worry bhenji, study hard, do it for Sikhi, for the love of Sikhi.." Rena bhenji would always say things that were sweet in speech, words that were from the bottom of her heart, touching words... I also remember the day she told me she started tying a dastaar to school! I can't exlplain to you sangat jee, how happy I was. She made it to her dream of wearing a dastaar with Guru Sahib's Kirpa. Just through her words on the msn window, I could tell how happy and excited she was about wearing a dastaar everday now. I told her that my dastaar was not perfect at all, and she said...."Mine isn't either. But dont worry bhenji, together we can perfect it..." I was really hoping for this day,,,,, :umm: Our last conversation was when we were talking about the vaisakee parade and she was showing me her picture with a friend at their vaisakhee parade. and the last word she ever said to me was..."brb" Waheguru Waheguru Waheguru She had so much ambition for gatka. And I am listening to her beautiful voice right now, I never knew she did such incredible keertan. She never ever cared to show off. Her humility explained it all through her kind words and actions. She will forever abide within my heart. May Waheguru jee bless this young soul. I love you Rena!!!! Dhan Guru Nanak...So satgur piara mere naal hai.. B hul chuk khima...Waheguru jee ka khalsa Waheguru jee ki fateh!
  13. Truly touching Rochak malang veer jee, you never know when your time is up. It could be in a few years, next year, next month, next week, tommorow, today, right now!! To be honest, this accident that recently took place has taught me a great lesson. We should never take life for granted. Look at what roles God plays. You never know what he will do next. It's all in his hands. All his will. These worldly things are gonnna be left here, nothing is gonna go with you, hence when you die, you go into a more beautiful place, and these worldly things were just all an illusion. Let us all remember death. We have to remember it like it is our only hope. The true peace is found when we remember that we could lose our last breath any second. Waheguru Waheguru Waheguru, May Waheguru bless the true loving souls of Rena Kaur bhenji, Charanjit Singh, and Parminder Singh jee. Waheguru jee ka khalsa Waheguru jee ki fateh!

  15. Jsingh, I have been in a similar situation as you, I am sure everyone has. In the past few days, I felt really down for some odd reason, and I didn't feel like doing my homework for the whole weak, (Maybe it was just laziness ) but I did notice a change, after I went to Gurudwara Sahib for a few days It really does help! Just like Jss said join saadh sangat, their company really motivates you. Seeing the sangat around you and their chardi kala really makes you feel better. :umm: Just my two cents, bhul chuk khima Waheguru jee ka khalsa Waheguru jee ki fateh!

  20. OKKKKKKKKKKKKK now after looking at the blood from the eye balls cut open, I am gonna have to say it is big time discusting!!! @ @ Shouldn't they have an age limit for who could and couldn't watch this?? :T: My little would have been laughing an evil laugh away the whole time  I am glad he didn't watch them. But I feel pity for these animals, even if they are animated!!
  21. danggg these are sickkkkkkkk, I would have been screaming at top of my lungs if i were that cute little animal with the snake attacking me!! They are pretty discustin though with the blood and eye balls pooping out and everything , but I'd have to admit they are pretty funny!
  22. These jokes are hilarious, keep it up! Here is one of my favorites~ A teacher asks a student to solve a math problem. The student takes 2 minutes to solve it and calls on the teacher to check his answer. After looking over the answer, the teacher replies, "I am afraid this is wrong." The student replies back, "No it isn't bacause my friend who recenlty died, told me that it was right, so technically it is right. The teacher looks at the boy and gives him an ugly look and says, "Well, I am afraid your friend was wrong as well. The answer is WRONG." The student finally said, "Fine then, when I die and go to heaven, I will just ask my friend again if it is right or wrong." The teacher replies, "well, what if your so called friend went to hell?" In an instant, the student replied, "Fine then, you ask her!"  I love this one!!
