  1. Why are there so many profiles on FB of nihangs who worship durga and kali ? If we're going to be shakti worshippers, then why beat around the bush with identity crisis. why not just accept we're hindus if we're going to worship the same gods and goddesses they do ? this is frustrating to see fellow sikhs go down this line
  2. Today I see many people mix Punjabi culture things with sikhi. Like I personally think that Bhangra, giddha and other things like this aren’t related to sikhi and aren’t allowed for Sikh to do. 10. Waheguru ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh, Lakh Lakh Vadhaian to all the Saadhsangat on the Purab of Hola Mahalla. Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj initiated this festival at Sri Holgarh Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib), on Cheth Vadhee Ekam 1757 Bikrami. Guru Sahib alongside the festivities of Hola, used this time to gear his Sikhs towards Shastar Vidhya. The Sikhs immersed themselves in the colour of love for Gurbani by sitting in the Saadhsangat. Changing the ancient tradition of ‘holi’ to ‘hola’ Guru Sahib said the immortal words recorded in Gurpadh Prem Parkash by Baba Sumer Singh, ‘ਔਰਨ ਕੀ ਹੋਲੀ ਮਮ ਹੋਲਾ ॥’ (for others it is Holi, for me it is Hola). Mahakavi Bhai Santokh Singh Ji has beautifully described the scene of Hola Mahalla in Sri Gurpartap Suraj Granth: In Guru Ji’s Darbar Sikhs came in large numbers full of bliss. All around the city the Guru’s Langar was running non-stop; the Sikhs would eat where they pleased. From all four directions thousands of Sikhs had gathered in Anandpur Sahib for Hola Mahalla. ੪ ॥ Those on whose forehead good fortune was written were colored in the color of the Guru’s love. 4. The Rababs and Pakhawaj (drums) were being played with great enthusiasm. The Raags and Raagnis of Gurbani were sung so beautifully it was as if the very manifestations of them raags had come and stood in front of the sangat. In the way that the demi-Gods in happiness meet each other in heaven. ੫ ॥ Similarly, The Guru’s Sikhs are in a state of extreme happiness lining up to gain the glimpse of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. 5. Near the main door of the fort, the Nagaras (war drums) are being played, hearing which the Sikhs are obtaining bliss. The Nishan Sahibs of the Khalsa Panth are fluttering high in the sky and the Nagaras are producing a very loud sound. Gursikhs with great enthusiasm are roaring Jaikaras (war cries). ੬ ॥ ... Many Sikhs have gathered and are throwing colour on each other, the great crowd is moving forward. 6. ... Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in their hands have taken a ‘Pichkaari’ (syringe instrument used to throw color), seeing this all the Sikhs have also taken Pickhaaris in their hands. The Sikhs in pure devotion are coming towards Guru Sahib and bowing at their charan. At once they all threw red color on each other, it was as if raindrops of different colors were falling everywhere. ੮ ॥ Throwing handfuls of colour in the air it seemed as if even the sky had taken on a new colour. 8. Adhyae 27, Ruth 3, Sri Gurpartap Suraj Granth, Mahakavi Bhai Santokh Singh Ji. Please Enjoy the video and spread knowledge of this important time of year and mental stance

  12. WJKK WJKF For those who don't know, Balbir Bazighar is one of the "Jathedars" (quotations because he is fake) for Budha Dal. Budha Dal is currenty split into three. The true Jathedar, accoring to maryada, Akaali Baba Prem Singh The one who is believed to be the Jathedar, after Sangat didn't want Balbir to be Jathedar, Akaali Baba Joginder Singh The fake one, Balbir Bazighar. My question is, how did he suddenly gain so much influence? Did the government bribe him, etc? WJKK WJKF
