I see Greek mythology as a primitive science devoid of facts. Rather than a science of facts, it is a science of understandings, and thus interpretations have been made of the world by the Ancient Greeks.

In the absence of facts, such a science has found it a neccesity to rely on super-natural figures to explain things, hence the existence of mythological Greek Gods.
