The September 10, 2005 issue of the Punjab Times newspaper has a very important article by Sukhpreet Singh Udhoke regarding the role of the BJP-RSS in the 1984 Sikh genocide.

The article is in Punjabi so I will summarize for you.

After 21 years of waiting, around 10 commissions and comittees, a report was tables in parliament. It is evry interesting in the justice of Biparwaad that thousands of sikhs were massacred yet no one is guilty.

Ever since INdia's independence there have been close to 300 incidents of communal violence in hindustan. None have been as severe as the 1984 sikh genocide. On the one side are people who are trying to help the victims and then there are those who are calling the events of 1984 as riots rather than genocide. This is our own fault.

We are trying to blame the events of 1984 on a single party or political group. I am not writing to favor the Congress party but to bring forth the truth about the real forces behind the massacre of sikhs. We are happy that the Congress party has had two turbaned peopel take high posts, manmohan sio and jj sio but we must keep in mind that turbaned people who have received the blessings of biparwaadis has had to toe the line of biparwaad(the way of the brahmans).

If we look into the events of 1984, the RSS and BJP need to be looked at in the same manner as the Congress party.

First of all the Nanavati commission was set up by the BJP. We must ask ourselves is the Nanavati commission a tool of the BJP? Kapil Sibal, during the debate over the report has said that 14 F.I.Rs and names of 49 people from the BJP and RSS have been filed, but why aren't they in the nanavati report?

The Nanavati commssion was etup by the akali-BJP gov't. They were supposed to submit it within 6 months to a year, but why was it extended to so many years?

Thsi commssioon itself was made afer 16 years of the genocide so why was it extended even further by the BJp-Akali gov't.

The commission which was established by the BJP, why was it brought forth now during Congress rule? Why was only delhi included in the report? What about Kanpur, Bokaro, Patna, Raanchi, Indaur, Bhopal, and haryana, not one line was written about these areas?! Maybe because the guilty in those ares were not Congress party members but someone else?

IN haryana 120 siksh were taken out of cars and shot to death but no mention of this in the nanvati report. Why are they silent about this? Who are the guilty?

If the nanvati commssion has done an incomplete job in bringing the truth to light then why has it been given the task of finding the guilty in Gujurat(where the RSSa nd BJP are the culprits)?

Now during Congress rule, the "paper-lion" Parkash Badal is taking orders from his BJP masters as is crying about getting the report public because it is to his party's benefit, but when the congress leaders began talking about how BJP members also are guilty and participated in the acts of horror we have to ask ourselves is this just a political game? The Akali-BJP gov't was in power for 5 1/2 years, but did nothing.

the Akalis never brought up the fact that areas outside of delhi shoudl be brought up in the report. Why during the Akali and BJP gov't was a tenth commssion made, didn't the previous nine commissions have enough evidence to prosecute somebody?

Some Akali leaders in Delhi harrassed and threatened Sikh witnesses. Wasn't the Akali Dal aware of this? Sikh houses were marked and targetted by the mobs. During the Akali-BJP gov't rule the same officers who committed crimes against sikhs in delhi were not prosecuted but were rather promoted!72 police officers have been known to be guilty couldn't the BJP gov't punish them?

Sewa Das, a DCP, had 200 sikhs murdered in his area, he was made a special commissioner. Soorvir Tiagi, SHO, was made a ACP. UK Ghatna, DCPC, is now a DGP. HC Yadav, is now retited and sitting at home himself gave orders for police to fire on Sikhs. Amod kanth, in 1984 was a DCP, saw sikhs burned alive in his locality is now a commissioner. IN his area when a sikh fought back the mob with a gun he arrested and tortured 6 members of that sikh's family.

So when even the BJP-Akali Dal is not guilt free then we need to know the real guilty.

Sang Parivar leader Nana Deshmukh wrote an article in the first week November of 1984 when the Sikhs were being killed titled, "RSS and Congress alliance." The articel is as follows:

"Indira gandhi has obtained the status of a great martyr. She had great courage, no fear, and the ability to bring the nation forward. The very people who were to protect her have killed her. The sad thing is that her death is being called a panthic act.For her supporters her death was a shock because she was fighting the poisonous terrorists. She called for an attack when the religious holy places were being defuiled and needed to be rescued. The sikh nation remained silent while innocent people were being killed, but when adrbar sahib was attacked the sikhs were angry, at which the nation was shocked at the sikhs' response. The sikhs compared Indira gandhi to ahmad shah abdali and proclaimed the terrorist bhindrawaala a martyr. This attitude of the sikhs forced the hindus to be anti-sikh. Teh atmosphere was heightened by the role of the sikh bodyguards and the sikh happiness of her death.

The high priest of the golden temple Kirpal singh said that he had no sympathy for indira's death and thsi also added fuel to the fire. All thsi fueled people who were already angry to become violent. In 1948 when a marathi hindu killed mahatma gandhi, the sang parivar had the feel the same type of violence so the Sikhs need to remain calm. If sikhs try to confront the violence with weapons and arming themslves then it will only get worse. I am hopeful that siksh will learn a lesson fro all this. It saddens me that some sikhs have used weapons against some of the rioters.

I can honestly tell you that the militant attitude of the Sikhs was only needed to confront the Muslims, which the tenth Guru gave them. For Guru Gobind Singh the khalsa was a small sect of teh Hindu nation which was created to protect hindu beliefs and the hindu faith. the Five K's. kakaars, which was necessary then is unfortuantely being shown as necesaary in the sikh faith as the khalsa requirements.

It saddens me that siksh say they are a separate faith, which is a British scheme. These peopel are trying to break sikhs aaway from hinduism. Sikhs need to get away from thsi idea that they are a separate faith."

The RSS is telling sikhs to remain calm by comparing the events of Mahatma gandhis death to indira's death. One needs to ask how many RSS people were killed after Mahatma Gandhi was killed?

The RSS and BJP has titled Indira Gnadhi as durga and in June 2005 gave her the title of "LION LADY."

From all this it is clear that the guilty is not a political party but Biparwaad(Brahmanism).

Well most people say that 1984 was cong sponsered but i am 100 percent sure that BJP-RSS had equal role. They took advantage of situation and killed sikhs

Drums were being beaten and Gujrat and celebrations made when Akal Takth was attacked. Sweets were being distributed amongst RSS when 1984 Hune and October happened

What could be done for the mass awareness of Sikhs?? Majority of Indian media is goverened by RSS & its alies.
