Bhai Sahib,

This is truly amazing - a friend of mine approached me yesterday about this very issue that you have mentioned and today I spotted this thread. rolleyes.gif He talked about exactly what you had on your mind. Dont think you are alone in this dilemma.

It may be a hard path bhaji but just do your best. Doing paath together, simran, kirtan, mul mantar whatever you can may help to bring you and your wife closer on this path.

As for your children, a Gursikh explained to me that when your child is born, the dad should prepare Amrit and give it to the baby. There is therefore no jooth. I am most certainly wrong (maybe somebody else can correct me) but if you feel this is an issue, your children could take chulay (this is what my mum and dad did when I was a very young baby and they took Amrit).

I wish you all the best Bhai Sahib. This is the most important thing you will ever do.
