Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee is also planning a similar project in Amritsar.

Will we soon see similar projects by Haryana Gurdwara Prabandhak committee and other sikh institutions ?

Recently some Sikhs from south india got a taste of SGPC 'hospitality' at Gurdwara Damdama Sahib,Talwandi Sabo and Darbar Sahib,Amritsar .

By the way if you know someone in SGPC you can get a room in the Shri Darbar Sahib complex by "sifarish" otherwise forget it .

Sikhs should get rid of this corrupt present SGPC as soon as possible.

well do u see a mr bhambra or a mr riyat in a singh sabha gurdwara? NO dont think so!

and for tavprasad singh jee ramgharia might be associated with it through people, but not to me... i believe a gurdwara is a gurdwara, wherever Siri guru granth sahib jee maharaj sits there is a gurdwara!

Lots of serai construction going on. The best of luck to all those constructing new serai.

The Guru Gobind Singh Ji NRI Trust who have done an excellent job with the serai at Hazur Sahib have a project for Amritsar on the cards. You have to hand it to them, they have kept the serai clean.

The Soho Road wale have some sort of serai going up as well. It may be finished now.

The major problem with serai is they get built but they are badly managed and not maintained. People using them treat them like a rubbish dump. They do things in serai rooms that they would never dream of doing in their own homes. It is time people from India began to respect the facilities provided.

Best thing is throw out badal from the SGPC and expand the existing serais or build new ones in the name of SGPC by SGPCs money and through the Kar seva of the sangat so that people get rooms without sifarish .
