Bhai Inderjeet Singh Jammu walay

Yodha Bhai Inderjeet singh jammu was born on january 26 1967. Father sahib Bhai Gurcharan Singh Fauji and Mata jee Bibi Amarjeet Kaur.

From a young age Bhai Inderjeet started reciting gurbani and at the tender age of 10 he started standing on gurudwara stages and talked

about panthic issues and sung kavitas about jujahroos. Bhai sahibs family lived in jammu kashmir's mountaineous parts, batota area pind guhadi.

Bhai Inderjeet was the eldest of all six brothers and sisters. Bhai Inderjeet singh finished 10th grade in a government secondary school in Santvari,

then bhai sahib got admission at I.T.I Electrician. With studying pressure bhai sahib also attended many gurmat smagams. The news that came from punjab during the time of sant jarnail singh bhai sahib moved to Amritsar,thats when bhai sahib met singhs from Ajnala.

Those ajnala singhs left Bhai Inderjeet singh at Sant Dayal Singh Lachmansar dera and Bhai sahib jee didn't feel comfortable living there and decided to do darshan of darbar sahib and in bhai sahib mind he had a excitement of meeting Sant gyani baba jarnail singh jee khalsa bhindranwale.

Bhai sahib heard alot about sant jarnail singh from the sanagat. When sant jarnail singh jee and bhai sahib met each other,they started a simple conversation and bhai inderjeet singh asked sant jee if he can live with them and sant jee agreed right away and Sant dyal singh who had inderjeet singh at his dera tried to become a obsticle between jatha bhindra and inderjeet singh but in the end Bhai Inderjeet singh jee was in the Jatha.

Bhai sahibs were dying to meet their naujwan son but bhai inderjeet Singh jee told them that their saon isnot theirs anymore its Sikh kaums son now and bhai sahib decided to spent his whole life under the sikh snagats feet.

During the the 1984 attack bhai sahib wrote a last letter to his Father and mother and in the letter bhai sahib wrote,Bhai sahib mentioned the indian forces surrounding harmandir sahib. Some say Bhai sahibs duty was given general subheg singh at water tanks(paani walay tanka outa). Bhai sahib jee fought with bravery and stopped many indian forces entering darbar sahib because the tall water tanks bhai sahib could see the forces with a eagle view.

On 3rd june 1984 bhai sahibs duty was changed to sham singhs dera at the top floor,This building is on the Atta wali mandi side of Amritsar.From this top floor the bullets hit straight at the forces bunkers. Even at this duty bhai sahib finished off many soldiers at their bunkers with a single bullet in their heads.

On june 7 1984 the inidan forces were tired of the singhs at the top floor of Sham singh wala morcha and decided to attack at it heavely with unlimited bullets, in this attack many singhs were injured and the singhs ran out of ammunation.

The singhs were thirsty of water and hungry for food for many days and the forces arrested the singhs. Bhai Inderjeet singh and other 21 singhs were killed with bullets at fauji camp amritsar. Baba Dyal singh sended his singhs to tell bhai sahibs family of his shaheedi. 17 year and 5 month old this yodha of guru gobind singh jee attained shaheedi at a tender age.

After bhai shabis shaheedi, bhai sahib's mother used to pray and said this in her ardaas:"hey sacha patsaah!Main Apna Putra vichu apna dasvandh deh dita hai".
