i do my amrit vela by listening to kirtan and singing along with it ( b/c my mind concentrates more that way) .... and then reading nitnem ...is that wrong....or should i do simran without kirtan?

okk then....i thought we do simran in the morning? :D

i used to think that...but then i thought why is there so much emphasise put on simran? grin.gif ......

.....to chuk amrit you should be doing atleast 1 hour of simran??????

simran is simran, be that using vajaa tablaa or without.

so keep at it my friend.

baba gurbachan singh used to say that doing waheguru simran, reading bani, and doing humble sewa are all the same.

waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ke fateh !!!

a real gursikh should be jaaping naam athai phair (24/7) but not everyone is at that level, one should try and jap as much naam as possible and try do as much seated bhagti in their spare time . idealy one should to 2/3 hours at amritvela and 1/2 hours in the evening with mahrajs kirpa
