Talk to him and find out whats going on.

Do not discuss with some pre-judgement in ur mind about him. Ask him innocently about ur doubts.

I kinda know how ure feeling. When I really got into sikhi my dad started to act really weird and almost discourage it, which didn't make any sense as like urself I thought he wouldn't find nething wrong with it.

I don't know why bcos my dad's absolutely great, but it eased off once I spoke too him about it. U might be surprised as too y ur dad might be feeling that way....

your dad might just be worried that your just imitating him rather than doing it out of love for guru sahib. sometimes parents underestimate their kids' abilities and knowledge and so i suggest you sit down with him and have a heart to heart talk about your relationship with sikhi and guru sahib. i know in punjabi families this heart to heart is easier said than done(may be considered pakhand also ), trust me i know, but you gotta try.
