I think you're spot on - it isn't acceptable ..."OMG" is used so much now aswell...even non-believers use it!!

but here's what we have to ask ourselves...Does it matter? Shouldn't we attend to what we really need to get a grip of - Love, Acceptance, Compassion + Hukam for our guru. If we're japping naam, then there's no time to say, "OMG" or ,"swear on waheguru" and so on..

if we as individuals stop using this language, it might perhaps rub off on others
