Vahegurujikakhalsa

Vahegurujikifateh

Could some one please confirm what some singhs have been saying for a while now that some off the nihangs off today are just corrupt and use the bana to do anti sikh things. Ajit phula has been killing Gursikhs for years now since the freedom movement has slowed down a bit he is targeting the civilian population. Are these the guardians off our faith??

What is Akali Nihang Singh Khalsa Santa 96stone baba doing about this????? Its been about 15 years since this person has been going around terrorising ppl, his even been made a DSP off the <admin-profanity filter activated> punjab police, shows where is loyalty is not to Guru Panth but to hindia 

As the ‘army’ off Akal dnt u think the nihangs before they point their fingers at the Singhs and singhnia who fought with the might off the indian army should sort themselves out and then might we take seem seriously. The articles are just a tip off the ice berg of what is going on in the nihangs of uk, the true nihangs like Baba Nihal Singh and Baba Bindhi Chand (sursinghwale) who stood shoulder to shoulder with Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and the Gursikhs who picked up the shaster to protect sikhi and the Gurugarh. It eas

y to condem them as terrorists and fanatics but it was these fanatics that weeded out ppl like ajit phula.

Makes sad reading

Probe sought into allegations against Nihang chief

Our Correspondent

Amritsar, November 26 2003

Coming in favour of Nihang chief Ajit Singh, Puhala, Bibi Amrik Kaur Bhullar, recipient of the President’s Shaurya Chakra, along with five panches of Puhala village in Tarn Taran yesterday alleged that some family members of terrorists were conspiring against the Nihang chief. They sought an impartial and high-level inquiry into the allegations levelled against the Baba by some residents of the same village a few days ago.

The residents along with the Communist Party Marxist had levelled serious allegations against the Nihang chief and his dera men of committing excesses against residents of the village.

Anti-Puhla faction vows revenge, triggers tension HT Correspondent

http://www.hindustantimes.com/news/5922_47...02000000003.htm

Amritsar, November 27 TENSION GRIPPED Puhla village of this district when a group of villagers used the public address system of a gurdwara to announce that former sarpanch and the chief of the Tarna Dal faction of Nihangs, Ajit Singh Puhla, would be killed to avenge “years of excesses unleashed by him”.

A Puhla supporter and Sarpanch Karaj Singh wrote to Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and DGP A.A. Siddiqui today, seeking their “immediate intervention” to check any untoward incident. The tension began brewing recently when the anti-Puhla faction declared an “open war” against Puhla for the “years of excesses”.

Incidentally, Puhla is wanted in a criminal case. The Tarn Taran police are on a lookout for him even as he is reportedly staying at his dera at Baba Bakala, accompanied by fellow Nihangs.

Tarn Taran SSP

Gurkirpal Singh, who toured the village yesterday, claimed the situation was “peaceful and under control”.

The anti-Puhla faction says they have been forced to take the step “as the government has failed to ensure action against him”.

Eleven villagers, including panchayat member Piara Singh and nambardar Charan Singh, issued a communiqué and sought the CM’s intervention to end Puhla’s “terror empire”.

They listed nine cases of kidnapping, assault, intimidation and land-grabbing against him. They also accused him of possessing illegal weapons and using a vehicle with a red beacon.

Puhla reportedly clashed with terrorists during the height of militancy but survived the encounters. He was considered close to former DGP KPS Gill, IG Sumedh Singh Saini and DIG Jasminder Singh. His association with the Congress-turned-Akali family of Surinder Singh Kairon is also known.

Puhla said the allegations against him were baseless. He claimed that he was elected sarpanch twice and worked for the development of the village.

“In view of my fight against the terrorists, the government provided me security. Can I possess illegal weapons or indulge in excesses with 10 police escorts?” he asked.

Puhla said he was being targeted at the instance of some Congress leaders for supporting Adesh Partap Singh Kairon during the assembly elections. He demanded an independent inquiry into the entire episode.

Police seeks arrest warrant against Nihang chief

Poohla (Tarn Taran), November 28

The Bhikhiwind police has sought arrest warrant against Nihang chief Baba Ajit Singh Poohla against whom a case under Sections 323, 341, 427 and 506 had been registered. He had allegedly attacked a mason, Anand Kishore Sharma, living in Poohla village and his other assistants.

Baba Ajit Singh, chief of Tarna Dal, who has Z

security cover has been ruling the roost in the village for the past more than two decades as he had “good relations” with the then DGP, Punjab, Mr K.P. Singh Gill, and other police officials.

Residents of Poohla village have been fighting against the “atrocities” of the Nihang chief. The villagers alleged that he had been harvesting the crops of poor farmers.

A case under Sections 341, 427, 506 and 34, IPC, has also been registered against four of his followers for detaining migrant labourers at the village. Capt Sukhdev Singh and Mr Balbir Singh, former member panchayat, told this correspondent today that the villagers had decided to fight against the atrocities of the Nihang chief.

The police has decided to come to the rescue of the villagers. Mr Surinder Singh, DSP of Bhikhiwind, told mediapersons today that the police had given weapons to the villagers to fight against the Nihang chief and his followers. The police has also set up a police post in the village under the supervision of an ASI.

Mr Surinder Singh said the police had sent police parties to arrest the Nihang chief. He, however, failed to give the exact number of security personnel provided to the Baba and also failed the tell with whose permission he had been given the security cover.

Capt Sukhdev Singh said the Baba had been occupying the gurdwara though it was under the control of the SGPC. The Nihang chief was also forcibly occupying land belonging to the gurdwara and 25 acres belonging to the village panchayat.

Residents of the village, situated at a distance of eight kilometres from the Indo-Pak border, are living under the constant fear of Baba Poohla.
