also asawari is the best raag only after listening it from great great kirtania BHAI NARINDER SINGH JI BANARAS WALE

Asavari and Asa are different raags...

Thanks for the book, I'll check it out :umm: I recently got really interested in learning keertan in raag so I'm trying to find good books, right now I've got the one by Giani Dyal Singh, it's awesome :umm: Thanks again.

I think Raag Bhairo is wikd....and Bilaaval... there the only two i can do at the mo...but still learning(nice and simple lol) ...i know others...but they arent raags from SGGS(well not tha i know of)...i think thats because im learning the raags off a hindu musician(am not sure if there is a difference)...hes taught me raags like ...raag malkuns..raag kaafee...raag kalaawati...does anyone know of other names for these?

well i like asawari thats why i said asawari :lol:

but acc to the book both raags have very very similarities if we see with micro view.

Asa and Asawari have no similarities...

Malkauns and Kafi are lovely raags...

Asavari and Asa are different raags...
