so people like me can remember it. The mind works better in set sequences

rememmber what?

did you read the question properly?

im telling you.....specsavers

loll ur a geeeeeek man i did read it properly - u lot jus dnt get me rolleyes.gif i'll explain in nerd terms:

Refering to "Raman's" query; I responded with the following statement:

The alphabet is set in that particular order so that people like myself, can remember it. The human brain is known to respond easily and quickly when remembering sequences becuase they are set in a particular order. Thus allowing the response to be instant.

You get it now?

That is not nessecerily true; if the letters where in a diferent order you would have rememberd them in that way. which would make it the same as the alphabet now. The human brain would have responded the same way if the alphabet was different and if we didnt know the alphabet as we do.

soooooo.... specsavers!
