I was just wondering if any one has more information on the preevious mukhis of DAMDAMI TAKSAL. Sant Gurbachan Singh, Sant Kartar Singh, Sant Jarnail Singh and Sant Baba Thakur Singh.

I was just wondering if anyone has information on their lives, and any sakhis during their life. Im sure they were very inspirational people, who did a lot for the khalsa panth, so if anyone has any information of these mahapurkhs then it would be much appreciated. (please no cut and paste info - most of the time its nonsense.

Also anyone got any information on the ties Damdami Taksal had with Akhand Kirtani Jatha, and the friendship.

Also where is the Damdami Taksal now? Is it in full force like it was a couple years ago?

Just wanted some inspirational information and please don’t go off topic and start bashing one another.

As for ties between them more than the net its worth asking around for people who were there at the time and there still any many many out there. The net high lights things but theres hardly anything which ever talks about the pyaar between the two groups which there was for a very long time.

there will always be pyaar between gursikhs, whether they be from taksal, akj, nihang dals, nanaksar etc etc. however i state GURSIKHS, and those who have reached this avasta have pyaar with every1. . . there was pyaar between sant giani gurbachan singh jee and bhai sahib randheer singh, bhai sahib used to go and meet sant gurbachan singh jee many times,. . . futhermore, there was pyaar between sant baba harnaam singh jee of rampur khera sahib and sant kartaar singh jee and bhai joginder singh jee talwara, baba jee used to do abhiyaas smagams, were bhai joginder singh jee would do kirtan and sant giani kartaar singh jee used t do KATHA (many ppl now beleive that katha isnt required), also between sant giani kartaar singh jee and master niranjan singh jee of akj, and bhai balbir singh jee shiromani raagi, when sant jee used to do the nagar kirtans then he would ask the above two to do kirtan whilst he did gurmat parchaar, there was immense pyaar between sant giani jarnail singh jee khalsa bhindranvale and bhai fauja singh and many gursikhs, the latter became shaheed in 1978, when members of akj and damdami taksal JOINTLY protested again the narkdharreee lot, and there are pictures of singhs from taksal being injured and in hospital along side those from akj. bhai gurbachan singh jee manochahal was one of the many singhs injured. about 9 of the shaheed singh were part of or had very very close links with the taksal, as per a speech by sant jee. dhan guru pyarey. bhai sahib anok singh jee BABBAR and many others including bhai talwinder singh jee babbar of the babbar khalsa had very very close realtionships with the damdami taksal and would always ask advise from sant jarnail singh jee shaheed bhai sukhdev singh jee had close links with taksal when the police was after him and sant jee helped them whilst in delhi. bhai sahibs singhni used to cme and meet baba thakur singh jee, akali baba nihaal singh jee of haria vehla and akali baba daya singh jee of sursingh wale nihang dals were very close to sant jarnail singh jee. likewise there is katha on gurmatveechar by sant kartaar singh jee on the barsi of baba saun singh jee bidhi chand nihang singhs and its absolutely amazing the pyaar amongst GURSIKHS. bhai sahib fauja singhs jees singhni had close links with sant jee and also sant harnaam singh jee of rampur khera sahib. You will find many photos were alot of puuran mahapurkhs are standing together at the time of sant gurbachan singh jee. . . they all may have had slight variaions in there maryada but the pictures are just beautiful. baba thakur singh jee karajkari mukhi of taksal had immense pyaar with everyone bhai rajinder singh jee (ex jathedar of akj panj pyarey) went to meet baba jee and the taksal jatha, likewise bhai rama singh jee had alot of pyaar with baba thakur singh jee.

. like i stated once one has reached the avasta of a GURSIKH then there will be pyaar and mutual respect, however before this avasta there will always be problems, like the current state of things in todays society. there will always be those who do everything for themselfs and cause problems so they can take control of things, however we have to pick these ppl out and not get invloved with there petty politics. its about truth and falsehood, it dsnt matter who is from which jatha aslong as they follow the truth, however ppl abuse the jatha thinking and support those who may be incorrect, as they are from ''my jatha, our jatha, that jatha''. even tho they may be wrong, but i suppose thats hukam also.

for more info just listen to katha, or the speeches of sant jee and you will realise that there was pyaar there and there still is amongst GURSIKHS, who are few and very rare to find
