"Tu Baabar Nahi Jaabar hai" (O Baabar your name should be Jaabar(a person who takes something forcefully)) said the founder of sikhism Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji after seeing the poor and miserable state of Hindus and Hindustan(India) under the tyrant regime of Mughal Emperor Baabar. Baabar just conquered India with a mere 500 men army with him. People in India were so weak that lakhs of Hindus could not fight 500 men and whole of India got itself into the clutches of slavery. But it was the big and strong heart of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji who did not fear Baabar and favoured the truth by opposing his misdeeds. For this Guru Nanak Dev Ji were even jailed by Baabar for speaking against him.

Continuing this spiritual and truthful path none of ten Gurus of Sikhism ever praised instead fought those who oppressed the poor. Akbar the next ruler even bowed down to Sri Adi Granth Sahib after listening to the Gurbani. Jahangir the next ruler of regime was a jealous person and challanged that no Indian can have horses and only Mughals can have them. Another guidline issued by him was that no building can be higher than his fort. Meaning Indians are poor in front of him and his regime. Taking both the challanges head on 6th Sikh Guru Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, not only started keeping horses but also made Sri Akaal Takht Sahib in Amritsar taller than Jahangir's specifications.

The situation worsened when Aurangzeb became king the situation worsensed. He pledged to convert all Hidus to Islam. Hindu women of India were ruined and faced sexual assaults at the hands of tyrant rulers. But again Sikh Gurus supported the truth and when Hindus came to 9th Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji for help, Guru Ji decide to sacrifice himself for the sake of Hindus and saving Hiduism in India. Even after the sacrifice of 9th Guru Aurangzeb did not stop, then the 10th sikh Guru Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji fought many battles with tyrant regime. Guru Gobind Singh Ji got whole of his family involved and all of the Guru Gobind Singh Ji's family sacrificed themsleves not for their own interest but for humanity and culture plus another religion(Hinduism) of the country India.

This way Mughal tyranny or Zulm Raj was eradicated from India. Later on the infighting of India continued and many Hindu Indian rulers sold themselves to East India Company which later on looted India for 200 years. Again keeping and uphoalding the truth and under Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji sikhs kept on fighting for India. We all know about Bhagat Singh was a sikh and out all 100 people who were hanged till death by Britishers in their regime 93 were sikhs. Till date on borders of India sikhs wake up day and night for our safety. Sikhs are in many other fields like IT, health, medicine and now the Prime Minister of India Sardar Manmohan Singh is also a sikh.
