Hey all. There's a short paath that you recite before you go out anywhere. It's supposed to keep you safe while you're out and about. It's very short, I think you only recite 4 things. Does anyone know what its called, and could someone please write down what you have to recite please? I think it starts off: "Aad aaminay, Jugaad aaminay, Satguru aaminay..." I cant remember the rest. Please help. Sat Sri Akaal.

This tuk is the first sloke from Sukhmani Sahib Ji.

Another shabad which is a rukhia shabad starts

Bhilawal Mahala 5 - tatti vaw naa laagi, parbrahm sarani,

chaugirad hamaray ram kaar dhuk laggay naa pai..........

Again it looks after you whenever you go out.

Bunda Ji is correct these lines are from the beginning of Sukhmani Sahib Ji. Therefore Sukhmani Sahib is a prayer to bring peace to ones mind.

Sukh= peace, Man = Mind.

These 4 lines you mentionned are a small part of the prayer, the actual prayer is much longer! The Prayer was written by Guru Arjun Dev Ji and it is said Guru Ji wrote it in response to a request from a devotee who was suffering from physical pain and mental anguish. Listening and meditating to this prayer, restored the devotee to calm and good health. :)
