dhas has been given £10 to spend on a book from any bookshop (WHsmiths/waterstones etc)

but problem is what book 2 buy???!

dhass doesn't read books but has to buy this 1 book of personal choice as its a gift from colledge.

Perhaps if you are going to University you should buy an introductory book on the subject you wish to take. There are some pretty good ones out there that let you think about whether or not you really would enjoy a particular subject.
