Please have a look what kind of things they are doing abt Sri Dasam Granth. Have a look on the Dramas. I don't like to watch it full because it's too stupid for me, but we have to take action against these kind of parchar.

So my question is what can we do abt these things?

I did my research KHALSA shabad only comes once in Guru Granth Sahib Ji compare this to the amount of times it comes in Sri Dasam Granth.

Sri Dasam Granth proves that RAAM shabad is not the same as Raam Chander. It also proves HAR is not Vishnu. I have heard some Sikhs say Gurbani says Raam and Hari both Hindu Gods but read Dasam Bani you get to know who they REALLY are. Really bound by Kaal (death).

These Indian agents are distorting Sikhi.

These people are either doing it on purpose or have not read Dasam Granth. They also lie very nakedly.

One of them says that mahakal is a Hindu God. That is not correct. Mahkal is great kal. God is creator as well as destroyer. Bachitra natak has euology of Kal that leaves

no doubt what is meant by this term.

TRIBHAGI STANZA

The Eulogy of the Revered Death (KAL).

The sword chops well, chops the forces of fools and this mighty one bedecks and glorifies the battlefield.

It is the unbreakable staff of the arm, it has the powerful luster and its light even bedims the radiance of the sum.

It brings happiness to the saints, mashing the vicious ones, it is the destroyer of sins and I and under its refuge.

Hail, hail to the cause of the world, saviour of the universe, it is my preserver, I hail its victory. 2.

Bachitra natak, Dasam granth

The people shown in these videos are doing it for creating mischief. They say wheguru ji ka khalsa ,Waheguru ji ki Fateh and then condemn Dasam Granth that gives this salutation. Waheguru ji Ki fateh comes from Dasam Granth.

Here in USA an international conference was held in Feb 2008 to enlighten sikhs and blunt their propaganda against Dasam Granth. After 300 years celebrations are over another conference will be held.

The best way is to confront them invite them for a debate. They will not go for that as they know they are lying.

Please let us know where is Dancing queen darshan singh and what did he say about Dasam Granth in his lecture?

'Ignore them'....

What i mean when I say 'ignore them' is that we should not try to prove anything to them. I never watch their videos. Its a waste of time.

They are a bunch of heretics from Faridabad who dont believe in any Sikh institution. They are walk-outs from the panth. This guy Dalbir (in the video) doesnt even believe in any rachna of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib. He even denigrates Nitnem Banees.

Sometimes I wonder what is the difference between this group and that of Dera Sacha Sauda. Both are Guru dokhis. This group stands at the same place where other heretic groups stand (Nirankaris, Ashutosh and Kala Afghana). The only difference is that they are bhekhi Sikhs.

They can go on with their negative propaganda but nothing is going to change.

Instead of retaliating to their idiotic vidoes and posts Sikhs should do as much positive prachar of Gurbani as they can. Responding to their propaganda will only give them recoganition. And thats what they crave for.

In the light of the true prachar, their negative propaganda will automatically fade.

Gurbani is not entitled for any kind of debate. And I believe this forum also has the same stand.

Do prachar of Gurbani and Gur-itihaas. Dont enter into any debate or discussion on Gurbani.

i was having a debate on the sri dasam granth and the guy who was against sri dasam granth mentioned Chariter 68.

he posted the following to me :

Chariter 68 is very long but unreal so I will mention it here briefly. A rich man’s son and a barber’s son were friends. They switched roles because barber’s son desired for it and they were look alikes. Rich man’s son was left to do house chores while barber one was riding horses and hunting.

Rich man’s son felt bad and was seen in a sad mood by Parvattee and Mahaa Shiv. They gave the rich man’s son a boon with which he was able to freeze and unfreeze creatures. Boon worked as rich man’s son stated ‘become frozen”. Rich man’s son said “become frozen” to the whole city except himself.

Everyone froze, couples having sex were frozen in their position, a man tying his towel was frozen, etc. etc. After a while, he unfroze them. Barber’s son wanted to know what had happened so he called for a doctor. Doctor had to go take a stool.

While he was in the bushes and cleaning his buttocks with a piece of dry mud, rich man’s son said “become frozen”. So the mud stone got stuck in his buttocks. Doctor asked the rich man’s son for a cure. Rich man’s son told him to listen carefully. He said, “I once had this problem too. I stuck my toungue in female horse’s buttocks 100 times and I was cured.”

Doctor did as suggested. Rich man’s son said “become frozen” to his toungue so it became frozen. Doctor was brought to the village and everyone made fun of him. Everyone bowed to the rich man’s son and he healed the doctor by removing his spells. Barber’s son died as he was still frozen. Rich man’s son was married again in the village and he came back happy.

after he showed me that i was abit confused. In no way am i anti dasam granth but i cudnt give him a answer to that as he claimed it was completly anti gurmat. he also claimed DG spreads false hood by it saying alexander took over russia, and had war against inder in heaven.

What you guys think about those writings?

There are two things to remember while reading Charitropakhayan.

These are existing tales which have been rewritten by guru sahib.

The tales are being narrated by a minister to his lust bitten king.At the end of every tale it is written Mantri-bhup sambade samapat.

The above charitra 68 is about the trick played by the son of a barber who was friend of a money lender's son. He was accompanying money lender's son when he was going to fetch his wife.

Money lender's son was riding a horse. Barber's son was accompanying him as a servant. He asked money lender's son to allow him a short ride. Once on the horse he never gave it back to his friend.

They reached his wife's village like that. People took barber's son as a bridegroom and real bridegroom as servant. Barber's son also behaved with his friend as his master and put him for running errands.

This part shows the trick played by an unfaithful friend.

Money lender's son was very depressed and shiv was passing that way saw him ,heard his story and blessed him whatever he will say that thing will stick there.

Money lender's son started to pay back his unfaithful friend with same tricks. Ultimately people came to know the real bridegroom and thus he could retrieve his wife and respect back.

This shows charitra of an unfaithfull friend who deceives his friend . Then it shows the charitra of simple minded money lender's son who is sincere towards his friend but had to pay him back in the same coin when he does not understand rule of good ethics.

I don't see anything wrong in this charitra. Basic is to teach a moral lesson. Other things are the art of story telling. These are myths told to impart a lesson.

Now coming to russian etc. Please quote that episode here so that detailed analysis can be done. Most probably your friend is talking about Kalki avtar. This has many lessons to be learnt.

    • Definitely the Guru Sahibs would be a heavier Scriptures to handle. Dasam Granth is more towards Bir Rass, Guru Gobind Singh showed his Greatness (of course, they would never say this) by separating his own Baania.  And the BIGGEST test of all?? Do we try and read Dasam Granth, Understand n show respect like we do to SGGS? Or... Do we QUESTION it? Guru Gobind Singh Ji is testing us.
    • My wife will be going for an MRI scan next week but her Kara won’t physically come off.  Is there any way the mri scan can be done with the Kara still on?  The alternative is we will have to try to saw it off before the scan.
    • was researching this and came back to this thread. Also found an older thread:
    • Net pay after taxes. If you don't agree, think about this: If you were a trader and started off in China with silk that cost 100 rupees and came to India, and you had to pay total 800 rupees taxes at every small kingdom along the way, and then sold your goods for 1000 rupees, you'd have 100 rupees left, right? If your daswandh is on the gross, that's 100 rupees, meaning you have nothing left. Obviously, you owe only 10% of 100, not 10% of 1000. No, it's 10% before bills and other expenses. These expenses are not your expenses to earn money. They are consumption. If you are a business owner, you take out all expenses, including rent, shop electricity, cost of goods sold, advertising, and government taxes. Whatever is left is your profit and you owe 10% of that.  If you are an employee, you are also entitled to deduct the cost of earning money. That would be government taxes. Everything else is consumption.
    • No, bro, it's simply not true that no one talks about Simran. Where did you hear that? Swingdon? The entire Sikh world talks about doing Simran, whether it's Maskeen ji, Giani Pinderpal Singh, Giani Kulwant Singh Jawaddi, or Sants. So what are you talking about? Agreed. Agreed. Well, if every bani were exactly the same, then why would Guru ji even write anything after writing Japji Sahib? We should all enjoy all the banis. No, Gurbani tells you to do Simran, but it's not just "the manual". Gurbani itself also has cleansing powers. I'm not saying not to do Simran. Do it. But Gurbani is not merely "the manual". Reading and singing Gurbani is spiritually helpful: ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੁਭਾਖਿਆ ॥  ਗਾਵਹੁ ਸੁਣਹੁ ਪੜਹੁ ਨਿਤ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੈ ਤੂ ਰਾਖਿਆ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ The Lord's Bani and the words are the best utterances. Ever sing hear and recite them, O brother and the Perfect Guru shall save thee. Pause. p611 Here Guru ji shows the importance of both Bani and Naam: ਆਇਓ ਸੁਨਨ ਪੜਨ ਕਉ ਬਾਣੀ ॥ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿ ਲਗਹਿ ਅਨ ਲਾਲਚਿ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਜਨਮੁ ਪਰਾਣੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ The mortal has come to hear and utter Bani. Forgetting the Name thou attached thyself to other desires. Vain is thy life, O mortal. Pause. p1219 Are there any house manuals that say to read and sing the house manual?
