WJKK WJKF SANGAT JI REALLY NEEDA HELP ...

ACTULLY FEW DAYS AGO I WAS DOIN JOREYA DI SEWA IN GURU GHAR N M CLEANING JORE WITH KESRII PIECE OF CLOTH..... N ONE GUY CAME N GOES U CNT USE KESRI DASTAAR..... BT IT WASNT A DASTAAR ITS JUS A PIECE OF CLOTH ... IS DAT WRONG TO USE KESRI KAPRA ??? I DON FIND NETHIN WRNG IN IT THO... NEWAY M GNNA USE SOME OTHER COLOR KAPRA DIS TIM :D

I JUS WANT SANGATS OPINION ....

nothing wrong in using any colour... but if someone is not happy with this perticular colour, then why hurt that person. as a gursikh, you should have said "sat bachan" and it wouldnt have made any difference to u, but would have made the other perosn happy....lol...

From what I have gathered, Kesri/Saffron colour is related to Sacrifice, a Shaheedi colour. It could mean something else im not sure. But as our beloved Shaheed Singhs/Singhnia in the past gave their lives and wearing such a colour as their dastar, some may find it insulting using it on shoes.

Not my exact opinion, but just what I have heard.
