How Do Shaheed Singhs Understand Gurbani ?

Saintly souls belonging to different sampradas agree to the fact that when Sri Akhand Path Sahib is done with full maryada, shaheed singhs come to listen to Gurbani. Now how do these shaheed singhs understand Gurbani ? Do they have sanskrit teachers or gurbani grammar teachers up there that teaches them gurbani meanings ??

shaheed singhs are pure souls.. they understand everything. to my understanding they are anterjami like akaal purakh himself. they are not ghosts. Shaheed singhs are wherever there is a full sarroop of sggs. Maybe if we do kamai we will understand these things. u shudnt think to much. u dont need to know.

harinder why r u being a researcher now? when people were discussing abt the english doctor and trying to find out some thing or some proves or notes by him then u said do naam and know everything.

so why r u asking abt shaheed singh's understanding?

he came across shaheed singhs many times while doing chandi di war da paath and doing ardasa for some people.

i doubt that u will start asking that how did guru ram das ji did kirtan in raags at darbar sahib and how guru nanak dev ji did kirtan in so many raags if he ddnt learned raags or not even finished his nursury class.

dnt be so clever and assuming all others anpad gwaar.

Opss.. everone pressing button to attack me. What I meant from this post was shaheed singhs understand Gurbani just by listening to it. Gurbani is Nirankaar and if a mortal listens to Gurbani and keeps full rehit and japps lots of gurmantar, that person can also understand gurbani just by listening.

These days I feel we are spending way too much time on things like sanskit, grammar, meanings. etc...

Sunny, u need to apologize for this post of yours. I never taunted shaheed singhs. I was trying to say that they understand gurbani just by listening to it and we mortals can do the same if we have Guru Kirpa.

its true that japping baani do help. but the gurmukhi is not as simple as punjbai, its like sanskrit and seharia and beharia and kanne onkar dulankar are very very important to understand the right meaning.

shudhta of baani and grammer and meanings are most important. u cannot ignore them and yea if the person like u have shardha that much strong yea u cud understand everything by kirpa.

thats why guru gobind singh ji started the taksal so that people can understand the meanings.

I sometimes read Gurbani meanings from teeka by Prof. Sahib Singh jee. I am also planning to buy grammar book of Bhai Talwara Singh jee in the near future, but deep within my mind, I know that the true meanings and santhiya of Gurbani can only be received directly from Satguru jee. These books and teekas are just a guide and reading them for some time is good, but spending ur entire energy on these reseraches, then debating on these researches, I feel we are missing the real goal of this human life which is to meet Akal Purakh. Akal Purakh is BEANT, cant He tell us the meanings of His own words ????????????

If a small baby can learn a language and its complex grammar, cant the sikhs of Satguru do the same for Gurbani ????????
