I am in India at present but will be in Canada in the very near future for some studies and will be getting immigration too. I am really tired of city life and dont want to live in city and do some job that requires brain energy. I just want to japp naam and do some labour job like farming (or some other job) and live a very simple life.

I will like to live in BC due to excellent climate and clean water.

I need suggestions as to where to live and what sort of job I can do.

I live a very simple life, just have 2-3 pairs of clothes and 2 sarbloh batas for cooking. I require VERY LESS money for survival.

Thanks,

Sounds like you should join Dal Panth and stay at one of the chouni's.

Is there some chaunni in BC ??

BC is such a beautiful place, it is must for nihangs to set up a chaunni here.

Any sikhs from BC who wanna build a chaunni ????????

If you want to do a farming job why would you move out of India to BC to study? You dont need a PHD to be a farmer.

People immigrate from Punjab to western countries because they want big houses, lots of money and a luxury way of life. If you want to live a "very simple life" you are moving to the completely wrong place.

Either you need to visit BC before you move there, or you need to reconsider why you really want to immigrate.

There is a real danger that we may become a dimwitted/unsophisticated quom if we do this veer ji.

Educate yourself in the spiritual as well as in a worldly sense brother.

Yep our forefathers, were scholars, philosophers, politicians, doctors, poets, saints, generals, and many more things. We need to be the same or we will defiantly become a no good for nothing nation, that follows anyone like sheep and will continually be exploited. If we where were a well versed nation the likes of Badal and co would never be in power. We need to stop procrastinating and start to be creative and set ourselves to work.
