add the following to the URL of the topic you are viewing:

"&mode=linear"

example, this topic's URL is:

http://www.sikhsangat.com/index.php?showtopic=39267

if the URL is as follows:

http://www.sikhsangat.com/index.php?showtopic=39267&pid=366901&st=0entry366901

remove the following:

&pid=366901&st=0entry366901

then add "&mode=linear" or "&mode=linearplus" to the end of the URL, which would look like this:

http://www.sikhsangat.com/index.php?showtopic=39267&mode=linear
