According to hindustan times a mob armed with guns,swords and other weapons went to village of Satwinder Singh one of the suspected killer village and asked about house the leaders of mob said the villagers they wanted to kill the family of satwinder singh as a revenge according to ht news but village elders engaged the leaders of mob and called the police some people were rounded up. The family members of satwinder singh although his identitiy is doubful has gone underground. Sikh rehat has prevented the sikhs from taking the extreme step other wise these people deserved the treatment given to them by THAKURS AND RAJPUTS IN UP. Should we have to take same step if they did not come to their senses by burning their houses or making taking away their youths as slaves mind it thakurs constitues just 12% of up population. Or does some sher singh rana people to come up to avenge the humilation to sikhswho killed phoolan devi and asserted it is the right of thakurs to exploit the women of dalits.It is sikhi which is saving these supporters of dera.

Well obviously the message of Sikhi hasnt got to these people because the panthic leaders have carried out 0% missionary work while the dehra's and their pakhandi baba's are free go around punjab and india and across the globe attaining followers for their cause. It is high time the SGPC founded Sikh Khalsa missionaries which are badly needed for not only to stop the influence of dera's spreading but also to stop the youth of punjab falling pray to drug and other vices. Blame our inept leaders of the panth who have been sitting on their backsides while the youth and sects of other Sikhs were pushed away into the arm's of the govt backed money hungry dehra's.

The dalits are treated bad it is a fact, if Sikh leaders (most of them who are of jatt lineage) were to help them into Sikhi and showed them respect and brotherhood we wouldnt have had all these problems. Dr. Ambedkar a famous dalit leader flirted with the idea of converting to Sikhism back in 1930s had he done so, the dalits he represented would have followed suit and their would have been a Khalistan/sikhistan now because the british were against giving Sikhs a seperate nation state as they didnt have enough of a population even thouigh they constituted the highest number as landowners and in the armed forces than other religious groups.

So lessson we have to learn from history is to bring people into Sikhism not exclude them by jatha's, castes, etc. Lets go back to the core foundamental teachings of our guru's and live how they want us to.

So far there is nothing about the above incident in any Punjabi newspaper here in Punjab.So to get the source of the news is very important.

Today also there was lot of rumour mongering in Punjab .To counter this the administration had to go out of th way to dispel them with loudspeakers and to inform that there was no incident in Punjab today.

Please tell from where you got the above news.May be even Austrian police doesn't know yet who or from where Satwinder Singh is.How do dera walas know who or from where Satwinder Singh is ?There are countless Satwinder Singhs in Punjab and all India.

Your welcome, I see a tide of people saying the opposite on thsi forum praising the action in vienna and wishing to push the chamars/dalits the ravidassa's out of the panth and it smacks of racism/castism, which i cant stand because it is the core thing which guru nanak dev ji and other guru's fought against. It is why so many people converted to Sikhism not only because they saw rightousness, purity and path to salvation but also brotherhood with people across the social divide (from other castes and ethicities, religions even).

People cant value and judge a persons life on what caste they follow. It should be what their conduct is, how their character is this is the fundamental teaching from SGGS Ji yet some so called Sikhs turn a blind eye to the Guru in favor of their tribe/caste/jatha,etc allegencees and linegages.

sikhs and sikh dalits and all other peoples are brothers and sisters. i cant see how any khalistani group would be linked since dalits make up a large proportion of those supporting these groups. they loved sant jarnail singh because he was a man of the people, and a leader of the rural common folk. some anti-sikh forces are trying to drive a wedge and create hatred between members of the sikh community.

this is an internal issue in chamar community. people like me who have left their chamar status and follow Guru Granth Sahib and believe they are Sikh are rising up against this fake human guru. we have been trying to prevent the dehdhair followers from gaining control in bhawan elections because when they get control of the temple they start doing beadbi and human worship and anti-sikh speeches.
