Why did he say you need surgery to get it fixed? Did you ask him what might have caused this in the first place? Lets assume for a second that surgery is the only option to get it fixed, but if the root cause of the problem is not diagnosed, what is to say that this will not happen again in a number of years?

Sounds like the same as my knees and legs. Can't say I have ever payed any attention to it, nor do I suffer from any pains because of them. Early 30s now but guess the problems will start when I become a bhudda. Although sitting in chonkree is becoming a little more difficult. Hmmmm
