Uproar in Punjab Assembly over Ludhiana violence

http://indiatoday.intoday.in/site/Story/74046/LATEST%20HEADLINES/Uproar+in+Punjab+Assembly+over+Ludhiana+violence.html

Sikhs please dont fall into the trap of Congress who are just taking advantage of the situation.

Badal dal and Congress are the same..ditto.They are just playing a friendly match for power at the cost of innocent Sikh lives.

One Sukhpal Singh Khaira who was the only Congresia whom I had been considering as a great hope for Sikhs till yesterday was seen shaking hands with Sukhbir Badal with a "smile" just 2 days after firing on Sikhs in Ludhiana.

Similarly the credentials of some Sant Samaj leaders is also doubtful.Although we should not say anything in the interest of panthic unity but at the same time we should have the courage to speak the truth. Moreover it has already been disclosed by Dhadhrianwala baba that the govt is trying to put pressure on the leaders of Sant Samaj in every way including buying them and asking them to get on their side so that they can once again teach a lesson to the Sikh youth again.

By this time may be some of the Sant samaj leaders have already been persuaded to keep quite.

Even the media reporters in Punjab have become gotten used to the Punjab bandhs so much so that most of them were reporting yesterday that the bandh is going to fizzle out by afternoon.

The only hope we have at present are the young Charhdikala Singhs who took on the govt bare chested despite all the odds.At the the moment the Sikh youth is united as never before .Even the pro badal Sikh Student Federations like SSF(Mehta) and SSF(Grewal) have come out openly against BJP and badal and Ashutosh. This is mostly true for the second rung leaders and lower cadres .At the same time Sikhs have to remain vigilant against the top most leaders of these federations who still seem to secretly connected to badal and may be in the protests to give info on the Sikh youth's further course of action to badal.

Today after the clash between congress and badal dal leaders in Punjab assembly Virsa Singh Valtoha(a former kharkoo) now a badal dal MLA was seen speaking in chaste hindi while talking to the media .So it is hard to distinguish between pro and anti badal Sikhs. We are again passing through a crisis but it is still encouraging to note that most of those Sikhs who took on the govt in Ludhiana were not even born when Operation Bluestar took place.

100% right...we are at such a crucial juncture right now; it is imperative that the Youth in Punjab and abroad open their eyes to scrutinize each and every supposed leader - no matter what his 'rank,' family relation, or supposed kamaaee. Up til now, Sikh Youth have not been able to effectively channel their energy against enemies of the Panth and I think it's because we haven't been able to see the bigger picure and the games that are being played with us. We have obvious anti-sikh forces working against us on one side and on the other side we have wishy-washy so-called Panthic leaders who don't think twice about licking Badal, Congress or the RSS' shoes. We NEED to become aware of these individuals who act hardcore and panthic in public but have backdoor meetings with RSS. It's these planted agents who are hindering our efforts to restore the Panth's honour - it's one big, vicious circle of Dushts. They come out to the rallies and protests to take pictures but they send our Naujavaan Khaalsay to take the bullets. Then they make big declarations and statements to the press, only to turn tail and run minutes after. Announcing 'Panthic gatherings' or meetings days or weeks after, they're only trying to push the issue away. Instead of harnessing the Jazzba in the Naujavaans today in a positive manner, they keep 'beating around the bush,' delaying the issue until everyone forgets about it. So they get to look like big 'Panthic Soormay' and when it comes time for elections they can still secure Badal's vote.

The slate needs to be wiped clean - all of these Akhauthee leaders need to be pushed out of the picture and the Naujavaan Singh's need to take charge and hold it down.

Captain Amrinder Singh and Paramjit Singh Sarna of DSGPC ,Dilli are asking for "president's rule" in Punjab.

They are perhaps doing this to ouster badal BJP but will this be favourable for Sikhs in Punjab ?

No Sant Samaaj "mahaapurakhs" has so far visited the injured Singhs in Ludhiana hospitals.

Please note: Not sure about anyone else, but Sant Baba Ranjit Singh Ji Dhadrianwale have been visiting since Saturday, and Singh's from their Jatha have been sent in turns every two hours to see the injured victims. Please do not spread any false propaganda without backing. This missionary-type false propaganda is not needed during these times. Dhaas also urges you to refer to certain Mahanpurakhs with a little more respect for the obvious reasons.

I think all jathebandia should get involved, kirtanee jathas, b khalsas, laadlia fauja of 96 crore to mention a few.

You are right. Giving out statements or making You Tube videos and making speeches complaining is not the way forward. All should be involved.

Our own so-called Sikhs would still try to bring them down at any cost no matter what the age - e.g. - sant ranjit singh ji dadrian wale - 25 years old - naujwaan - has done immense sewa at such a young age - people still try to bring him down.

keep your lies out of here and read post by nirvair s khalsa above, you are a son of darshan ragi, not guru sahib!

    • Net pay after taxes. If you don't agree, think about this: If you were a trader and started off in China with silk that cost 100 rupees and came to India, and you had to pay total 800 rupees taxes at every small kingdom along the way, and then sold your goods for 1000 rupees, you'd have 100 rupees left, right? If your daswandh is on the gross, that's 100 rupees, meaning you have nothing left. Obviously, you owe only 10% of 100, not 10% of 1000. No, it's 10% before bills and other expenses. These expenses are not your expenses to earn money. They are consumption. If you are a business owner, you take out all expenses, including rent, shop electricity, cost of goods sold, advertising, and government taxes. Whatever is left is your profit and you owe 10% of that.  If you are an employee, you are also entitled to deduct the cost of earning money. That would be government taxes. Everything else is consumption.
    • No, bro, it's simply not true that no one talks about Simran. Where did you hear that? Swingdon? The entire Sikh world talks about doing Simran, whether it's Maskeen ji, Giani Pinderpal Singh, Giani Kulwant Singh Jawaddi, or Sants. So what are you talking about? Agreed. Agreed. Well, if every bani were exactly the same, then why would Guru ji even write anything after writing Japji Sahib? We should all enjoy all the banis. No, Gurbani tells you to do Simran, but it's not just "the manual". Gurbani itself also has cleansing powers. I'm not saying not to do Simran. Do it. But Gurbani is not merely "the manual". Reading and singing Gurbani is spiritually helpful: ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੁਭਾਖਿਆ ॥  ਗਾਵਹੁ ਸੁਣਹੁ ਪੜਹੁ ਨਿਤ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੈ ਤੂ ਰਾਖਿਆ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ The Lord's Bani and the words are the best utterances. Ever sing hear and recite them, O brother and the Perfect Guru shall save thee. Pause. p611 Here Guru ji shows the importance of both Bani and Naam: ਆਇਓ ਸੁਨਨ ਪੜਨ ਕਉ ਬਾਣੀ ॥ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿ ਲਗਹਿ ਅਨ ਲਾਲਚਿ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਜਨਮੁ ਪਰਾਣੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ The mortal has come to hear and utter Bani. Forgetting the Name thou attached thyself to other desires. Vain is thy life, O mortal. Pause. p1219 Are there any house manuals that say to read and sing the house manual?
    • All of these are suppositions, bro. Linguists know that, generally, all the social classes of a physical area speak the same language, though some classes may use more advanced vocabulary. I'm talking about the syntax. That is, unless the King is an invader, which Porus was not. When you say Punjabi wasn't very evolved, what do you mean? The syntax must have been roughly the same. As for vocabulary, do you really think Punjabis at the time did nothing more than grunt to express their thoughts? That they had no shades of meaning? Such as hot/cold, red/yellow/blue, angry/sweet/loving/sad, etc? Why must we always have an inferiority complex?
    • I still think about that incident now and then, just haven't heard any developments regarding what happened, just like so many other things that have happened in Panjab!
    • There was a young Singh from abroad who went to Anandpur Sahib Hola and got into a fight with some Punjabis who were playing loud non-religious music. He had bana and a weapon or two. There were more of them than him.  He ended up losing his life. Don't be like that. Not worth it to fight manmukhs. @californiasardar1 ਮੂਰਖੈ ਨਾਲਿ ਨ ਲੁਝੀਐ ॥੧੯॥ Argue not with a fool. p473
