From Dealing with over with 280 serious cases in 2009 particularly in the UK, the SAS has identified many problem patterns within the Punjabi/ Sikh Community. On identifying these problems SAS have researched in to the specific cases and have come to a conclusion, that a lack of parenting skills play a large role in many cases brought forward to them.

To combat this problem within the community the SAS have developed a parenting programme which will be taken around the UK in the form of Parenting Workshops, these workshops will attended by parents, teachers and social works, and will be a chance to develop skills and also communicate on grass-root level within our communities.

Risky Behaviour Part 1

The Programme has been split in to several parts, each part will consist of one parents workshop. The first workshop (Part 1) titled Risky Behaviour.

This program is a preventive program aiming to give parents the skills to communicate with their young, and to use positive strategies to deal with difficult issues while, at the same, building strong relationships.

VERY IMPORTANT TO ATTENT
