Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!!

Saad Sangat Ji,

What is your perfect day? Like a daily routine. I want to know this because I want to balance my Sikhi and Collage life! And I just want to see how the saad sangat lives out there from, all ages :D :D!

It can be from amirt vela, or just activities you do and when you do your banis. Or it can be your Perfect Day!!

Looking Forward to the Replies!

My definition of a perfect day is when I have been able to engage in Naam Simran. After simran everything seems pleasant. Everything goes well after simran. Without simran I feel agitated and take my frustrations out on others.

Without simran the day seems totally meaningless.

Bin simran din rehan birtha sabh jai

Megh bin jio keti jai.....................

As a plant suffers without water , I feel the same without simran.

I like how you've specially set aside time to drink milk, yet fail to mention when get ready (e.g. put on your clothes/tie a dastaar). Unless you go to school nanga, ahaha!

BTW, do you drink warm milk (desi style) with almonds ?

First: Maybe I could add teh getting ready bit in the brush teeth etc etc..and I dont tie a dastaar, I cut my hair :(

Second: I drink cold mlk, what do you suggest I should put in milk to have a good body

and third: do any of u think I should add a nap time in the afternoon?

also thx K.Singh Deep

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

Raag Gauree, The Seven Days Of The Week Of Kabeer Jee:

Sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord each and every day.

Meeting with the Guru, you shall come to know the mystery of the Lord. ||1||Pause||

On Sunday, begin the devotional worship of the Lord,

and restrain the desires within the temple of the body.

When your attention is focused day and night upon that imperishable place,

then the celestial flutes play the unstruck melody in tranquil peace and poise. ||1||

On Monday, the Ambrosial Nectar trickles down from the moon.

Tasting it, all poisons are removed in an instant.

Restrained by Gurbani, the mind remains indoors;

drinking in this Nectar, it is intoxicated. ||2||

On Tuesday, understand reality;

you must know the way the five thieves work.

Those who leave their own home to go out wandering

shall feel the terrible wrath of the Lord, their King. ||3||

On Wednesday, one's understanding is enlightened.

The Lord comes to dwell in the lotus of the heart.

Meeting the Guru, one comes to look alike upon pleasure and pain,

and the inverted lotus is turned upright. ||4||

On Thursday, wash off your corruption.

Forsake the trinity, and attach yourself to the One God.

At the confluence of the three rivers of knowledge, right action and devotion, there,

why not wash away your sinful mistakes? ||5||

On Friday, keep up and complete your fast;

day and night, you must fight against your own self.

If you restrain your five senses,

then you shall not cast your glance on another. ||6||

On Saturday, keep the candle of God's Light steady within your heart;

you will be enlightened, inwardly and outwardly.

All your karma will be erased. ||7||

Know that as long as you place your hopes in others,

you shall not find the Mansion of the Lord's Presence.

When you embrace love for the Lord,

says Kabeer, then, you shall become pure in your very fiber. ||8||1

gurasikhee baareek hai khanday dhaar galee ati bheerhee|

The discipleship of the Guru is very subtle like a sword edge and narrow alley.

aodai tikai n bhunahanaa chali n sakai upari keerhee|

Mosquito’s and ants cannot stand there.

vaalahu nikee aakheeai taylu tilahu|ai kolh peerhee|

It is thinner than hair and as the oil of sesame is obtained after crushing it in the crusher with great difficulty, the discipleship of the Guru is not obtained easily.

guramukhi vansee param hans kheer neer niranau chunji veerhee|

Gurmukhs are descendants of swans and separate water from milk with their beak of thoughtfulness.

silaa aloonee chatanee maanak motee chog niveerhee|

Like licking of the salt-less stone they pick up the rubies and jewels to eat.

guramukhi maaragi chalanaa aas niraasee jheerh ujheerhee|

The gurmukhs repudiating all hopes and desires move on the way of detachment and tear down the veil of Maya.

sahaji sarovari sach khandi saadhasangati sach takhati hareerhee|

Holy congregation, the abode of truth and throne of the true Lord is the manasarovar for the gurmukhs.

charhhi ikeeh pati paurheeaa nirankaaru gur sabadu saheerhee|

Climbing the steps of non-duality they adopt the Word of the formless Guru.

gungai dee mitdiaaeeai akad kadaa visamaadu bacheerhee|

They enjoy His ineffable story like they enjoyment by a dumb person of the sweets.

guramukhi sukhu dhalu sahaji aleerhee ॥5॥

Through the natural devotion, the gurmukhs attain the fruit of delight.
